This place is amazing! My jaw dropped the second I walked into the door and I fell more in love every time I turned a corner. They have so many unique and stunning pieces that I’ve never seen before. Everything is reasonably priced (unlike the crystals shops where I’m from) and the quality of whatever you’re getting will be impeccable. I’m from St. Louis and I most definitely will be coming back simply because this is my new favorite store. Also the owner has the sweetest dog I have ever met so extra points for that. I can’t wait to come back :)

Very nice place to stop and check out, they have a humongous variety and rocks. They are good on prices, and even have bee supplies. Definitely a place to check out if you’re in the area.

Very cool shop. Old school yet new. And very nice people. On this alone, five stars. But I drop the rating due to pricing in the bee keeping area. If you are a bee keeper though, you'll quickly notice the pricing is very high and quality is lacking compared to other companies. Example: telescopic cover is $40 here, compared to $26 at another local shop (and far better quality).

Wow, just wow! By far the best rock store over been to. I highly recommend visiting!I was amazed at their selection - they have a massive amount of rocks from $1 to hundreds of dollars! So many really cool gift ideas! 🤩The staff was really nice and helpful. Fun for the whole family… and did I mention a GREAT place to find gifts!! 😀 100% worth visiting.

Taylor is a wonderful greeter when you step inside Rockhound Rock Shop in Galesburg, Michigan. This larvakite dragon and huge double quartz tower are two of my favorite purchases from this amazing shop. There are so many rooms and options to look at. It’s important to give yourself time to look around. Prices are reasonable.

Pictures and videos can't begin to describe how cool this place is! There is an overwhelming large amount of crystals, fossils, and specimens to choose from! My husband and I made 3 laps around the store, and we always found something new. I also love their live videos on their Facebook page featuring new inventory! This is a great place for everyone (and I mean everyone) to enjoy! Highly recommend!

My daughter and I visit often. It's a crystal/rock lovers dream! The staff is wonderful and don't mind that my daughter and I spend over an hour just looking in the front half of the shop sometimes before moving on to the rest.They also have a nice little metaphysical area as well.Definitely recommend stopping if you're ever in Galesburg.

The coolest rock shop I've been to. Granted I've only been to a handful, but this one is the coolest.We stopped in after seeing a billboard on I-94. Pleasantly surprised to find mot only rocks, but also apothecary wares, interesting books, fossils, local honey! What a cool store. We will probably stop by again next time we drive through town.

My little boys LOVE rocks and so this has become a regular stop when we visit family in BC. And we never leave empty handed. Our must recent trip my little guys were SO HAPPY over their free rock.I love the pottery pieces at the trading post. Note that they're not open mon-Wed I believe .

From the moment you enter the Rock Shop your met with a sense of calm. From the smell, to the music, staff and ofcourse the crystals and rocks. It's absolutely beautiful. We took our two kids and they had so much fun exploring and picking out rocks.This place is far bigger than it appears, if your in the area, you have to stop by! 💫

It was very busy in the store today! Everybody zooming around! Employees asking people if they need help ! I had this lady come up and asked if she could take my things up to the front and hold it while I look around some more ! I love it ! So welcoming and friendly would definitely come back again! My kid loved it so much ! We are going back again next week !

Stopped by just to check it out as we'd never been in before. What an amazing place to spend some time and shop for crystals. So many rocks and crystals and amazing things to look at. And no joke, you can seriously get lost in there. it's almost like a museum with so many things to look at. The mine theme to part of the store is really cool and so much fun. Oh, and they have the sweetest doggo!

This is by far one of the most interesting rock shops I have been to. The variety was HUGE, they were not exaggerating when they said they were the largest rock store in Michigan! Not to mention, the educational exhibits were very cool. I was also greeted by a friendly employee at the door, who happened to be a sweet golden retriever that hung out at the shop! I highly recommend checking out this place if you're passing through Galesburg.

Accidentally locked keys in my vehicle, and didn't have any cash. Rockhound Rock Shop called a tow truck driver that they use, and they even paid him to unlock my van for me. Bought a ring for my daughter, but it was the same price as the tow truck driver, so they definitely made no money from my purchase. This happened in February 2023, but I was just reminded of the incident yesterday when I drove past their shop, and knew this needed to be put out there. They are honest, kind, trustworthy, caring people, and run a unique, high-quality store with reasonable prices. Thanks again for rescuing my daughter and I that day.

Stepping into this place is an absolute wonder there is so much to see and everything just catches your eye. I really enjoyed the atmosphere especially all the vintage items throughout. although I think the audio needs some updating as it sounds fairly dated. There was a lovely gentlemen there by the name of Austin who gave us a great tour. Was friendly and professional all the way thru everything to checkout.

I've wanted to stop here for a few years and today I finally did. We were immediately greeted and told about what to expect. The shop is a lot bigger than I expected and there's so much to look at! I highly recommend stopping by, even if it's just to look around.
