Love Dr. Weise. Once becoming an established client, this office gets you in very quickly as needed. They have helped my pup so much as she's aged and have really improved her quality of life. The receptionists and assistants are wonderful, too. My shy daughter loves to come to appointments to say hi to the office kitty and staff!

It takes a lot for me to think someone is being unfriendly. But I was treated terrible on the phone. I went to this clinic for over 30 years and when it changed hands its not been the same. I don't like to leave negative reviews but you can't talk that way to people. You are a service and there are other choices. I want a friendly vet clinic. So forget the waiting list. I'm not interested in unkindness.

I've been going here with my two dogs for a couple of years. I really like the vet and most of the people. There is one person that has finally made me move my animals to a different vet. She is an older lady that answers the phone and is so rude. She is snippy until you ask a question, then she acts like it's a personal attack. I'm nice, and expect it to be returned. It has happened both times I've talked to her. She's the reason I never brought my cat there. Now they lost my dogs.

This is the best veterinary clinic in town. The staff is so wonderful and take time to put your pets at ease. One of my dogs won't go to anyone but her people but she trusted him on first sight and willing went with him to the scale(which is very scary to her🤣) One of my cats even like to see him and is up to whatever he wants to do. The office cat is pretty wonderful as well!

Love Love Love Dr Wiese! He is compassionate, honest, and won't push unnecessary procedures or treatments. My cat is always happier after seeing his Dr because his Dr is amazing at diagnosing and solving root causes of ailments.

Our cats have extreme anxiety about being in the car, making trips to the vet a nightmare. Dr. Blake and his staff were very accommodating and helpful with our situation and made it the best experience possible for us and our cats. Ive used them on several occasions and I really like the whole practice! One of the best Vets Ive met and I use alot of veterinary care for all my personal pups, fosters/rescues, and dogs I am showing. Dr Weiss and his whole team is amazing! They are very kind, caring, and always give my puppy Nova the best care. She actually likes going to the vet! Go figure, that never happens…. The Doc got right down on the floor and introduced himself and Nova instantly had made a new friend. I feel very comfortable that I have a vet who will care for my puppy for a reasonable price. I am a pet mommy and a single mom so good prices for great care mean a lot. Thank u so much Galesburg Vets… y’all are fantastic!

Dr. Blake is simply amazing. I live in Portage and have shopped around to a few different vets over the years and never felt completely happy so when my cat Stella had an emergency 2 years ago, I turned to Galesburg vet clinic as they were able to quickly get us in. Turns out, they are beyond wonderful and I'm happy to now call them my primary vet!! The front desk receptionist is kind, the vet techs are extremely friendly and warm, and Dr. Blake is one of a kind, in the best of ways. Today as a matter of fact, he swiftly took care of Stella's ingrown nail, clipped the rest, did an exam, gave a great recommendation, and made both of us comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. Kudos to such a wonderful vet and staff!

Dr. Weise went out of his way to make sure that my senior dog was seen quickly and was very kind and professional. He made sure all of my concerns were addressed and took the extra time to explain everything to me in a comprehensive manner. Never did I feel like we were just more money, like I've experienced at other local veterinarians, but that he truly cared and was passionate about his patients. The clinic was very clean with spacious exam rooms, which was great for my big dog and kids in tow. I absolutely plan to return in the future with all my animals! I definitely recommend this place!

Dr. Blake goes above and beyond for his patients. He is very knowledgeable, honest and truly cares for his patients. He helped find a solution to my dogs skin issues, he tried multiple interventions. Dr. Blake makes himself available if you have concerns. The staff are great! Would highly recommend his office.

By far the best veterinary practice I've ever taken pets to. Dr. Blake is kind, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. We had our dog at a different practice who only did some surface level testing (after quite a bit of prompting from us), essentially putting a bandage on a deeper issue. Dr. Blake went above and beyond to dig deeper and find the root cause of our pup's issues. He's an older dog that we honestly thought we were going to lose, so to see some pep in his step and a wag in his tail again is priceless. So thankful to have found this practice, which clearly puts their patients first.

Dr. Blake is absolutely great with our animals! He took care of our 10 year old black lab before he passed. Dr. Blake thoroughly examined Banks and explained diagnosis and prognosis so our family understood. When it was time to make our hard choices, his clinic took care of the details, making a very difficult day a little easier. We continue to take our 2 year old heeler there and experience great care and service.

My boyfriends dog is a patient at this office. He has been extremely sick, can’t even keep water down or stand/walk. Today we called around noon to speak with the vet. We were told he was on lunch and doesn’t make call backs until the end of the day. Not very convenient considering the condition of our dog. Around 2pm we called back to see about getting an appointment and we were told by the rude receptionist that the vet would discuss an appointment with us when he called us back this evening. We decided to wait for the call back instead of calling again and clearly annoying the receptionist. They closed at 7pm today. By 7:10 we still had not received a call back. We never heard from the vet. Extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate considering our dogs life is on the line.

I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician who is currently a stay at home parent. I wanted a clinic for our new puppy that was locally owned (not corporate), had a caring staff and high quality medicine. Galesburg Veterinary Clinic is all of that and more! The doctor and staff are all super friendly and were excited to see us. They even got down on the floor to play with my pup. I was in and out quickly, yet still got plenty of time with the vet and didn't feel rushed. Medical recommendations were specific to my pups lifestyle (not cookie cutter like most corporate clinics). I will definitely be returning.
