Fantastic! The tour guide, and his wife are very informative. I spent quite a bit of time and I will go back on my next trip to that area.

We picked this as a motorcycle destination day ride and it did not disappoint. Very nice and knowledgeable tour guides. Very interesting and well presented historic site.

Always a good time. Very informative and interesting! Always look forward to spending time with my grandkids' field trip! Recommend to others with a love of old ways of life and how they loved. Actual animals put a fun aspect to it also.

As unique as the octagon barn is the story behind it, is amazing. I just really wanted to see this barn, but I was simply blown away. This place is running due to dedicated people that want to preserve history. If u love history, if u love architecture, if u want to see the good ole days and how they farmed, lived, this is your place. Admission is by donation to keep this place preserved, it was 5.00 pp when I went. The volunteers are so knowledgeable.

A unique piece of history in the thumb area of Michigan. Huge barn is chocked full of neat antique farm items and implements. Interesting story of how and why it was built. Several other historical buildings are also in the premises. Before and after restoration photos are also posted in some of the buildings. A neat, low cost look at the past.

One of the best museums in Michigan. Never miss Fall Family days in September. Like stepping into a time capsule.

Just a fascinating home from a earlier Era. The barn is one of a kind, glad i took a side trip to stop and see it. We got hit by a horrible rain storm so I was unable to take pictures at the end of the tourer as I had planned

great family opportunity to learn how things used to be made and how people worked with their hands to support a family.

I really enjoyed volunteering this past Sunday, and was a tourist on Saturday! It was so nice to see ALL of the people who came out to support such a great history landmark!! To see the little ones eyes light up when they found out that there was no technology back in the early days was just amazing, the questions, I could just see the wheels turning in their heads.. and the AMAZING vendors.. so many cool items, of all genre's... if you haven't been to fall family fun days, you really need to go!! Bring the entire family, the young and the elderly... for some it will flood the older generations with amazing memories of when the days were much simpler and less chaotic, and for the little ones, a chance to learn some real local history!! And to forget about the modern world, even if it's just for a few hours!!I will be volunteering again. My father has been part of the committee for many years, and now my whole family volunteers..Love the octagon barn!!

Oh my goodness, where do I start? This place was fantastic! A fun filled day we had, of flea markets, food, the barn itself! It was a nice and warm, family filled atmosphere. Fun for the entire family. Wheelchairs may have been difficult due to the grounds. But it was an all in all great place!
