This store always looks like it just got ravaged by a looters. Every aisle is in disarray. There's barely any inventory on a the shelves. And the one person working the whole store by themselves always looks overwhelmed and flustered. Ive Been coming here 2-3 times a week for about 3 months now and it's been like this every time.

They should permanently close this location. Nothing is ever stocked. Looks like someone ran through and stole everything. The employees always have a bad attitude, and it's just plain filthy.

Schedule is not accurate. Store is closed early everytime I show up during the posted hours. I suggest you call ahead before even attempting to head to this store.

Wow, what a mess. Obviously they need help or they just don't care. Michigan law states that prices must be displayed in a manner that clearly and reasonably conveys the price in the store at the place where the item is located. Not so at this Dollar General!

The Fruitport store is closed more then it is open. They should get a lighted closed sign so you dont have to look stupid walking up to the front door....

Prices are always great. Service is usually good. All dollar generals I have been to are easy to navigate through and have most of your necessities. Only reason I'm giving it a 4 star and not a 5 start is because I've overheard employees bad mouthing upper management and corporate.

Awful!!! Whoever the RM or DM of this place is, you NEED to do your job and get in there and clean house. Always out of products due to never having staff to stock it. Carts with products all over the store that sit there with the same products for days. It's always a mess and the old lady with the pony tail is rude and complains about her personal life in front of customers. It's a shame that the manager is never present. It's clear he/she is incapable of managing. Hire new employees,replace the manger and clean house. Get in there and do your job so people can have a more pleasurable experience. This would be a great time for someone else to open a similar business and get you out! I will drive the extra few miles and shop elsewhere. Thanks for taking any convenience away from the community!

The last two times i was in this store the shelves were empty, there were tons of U-boats all over the store with merchandise that could go on the shelves. Yet some people have enough time to take cigarette breaks throughout the shift. I've been coming here for 2 years now, but feel like this store is going downhill fast!

Friendlier staff than most of the other local DG's around here. Only reason for the 4 star rate is most the time they are not stocked on everything I need at the time and they are under staffed to the point that they have barely any time to stock or clean.

Nice for when you need to grab a few things, I wish the isle's were more clear to walk down though, too many boxes in the way to get to some items on shelves. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

Good enough should be Dollar Geberal's motto. "We are not Meijer, Kroger, 5 below, or a dollar store, but we are good enough". Nothing spectacular, but if you are seeking work, if you show up to your shift 3 days in a row, I think you become a manager.

The one in fruitport Michigan the customer service was awesome she went out of her way to help me and is even going to start ordering a product for me for the summer while I'm in town
