This store is constantly changing hours, sometimes without posting a change. Went there tonight at 6:20 PM to grab a few things and the door was locked. I saw an employee who was standing at the front door when I pulled in and asked if they were closed. She said they closed at 6 tonight. I said, “your sign says you close at 7”. She just said they closed at 6. No note on the door, no notice.

They have had a brand new shelfing upgrade way more stuff and Overall, there were a lot of employees They had gotten a lot more fridges. With a lot more stuff you can buy People restocking a lot Very low prices I prefer for people that need Food quick Lots of options Best Dollar General I've ever seen.

Usually very clean and well stocked shelves. The Freeland store has a very low employee turnover so if you're a regular customer you should always see the same regular employees which gives shoppers a feeling of familiarity with the staff. The staff are all friendly people, helpful and know about products in the store. By far my favorite DG.

Great prices and they have a pretty wide variety of things for the size of the store. The staff is also very kind and friendly ever time I come in, they take the time to greet me and ask me how I am. They are also very helpful if you need something, don't be afraid to ask! They will not have any problem helping you find whatever you're looking for! They also have groceries, dairy and cold food. Would recommend for your everyday one stop shopping place! Convenient!

I frequent this dollar general since it’s right around the corner from home. Tonight I decided to bring my daughter in to pick a treat for our movie tonight. Of course we stopped in the toy isle, my daughter pulls a couple balls off the shelf so I immediately start gathering them up only to be huffed at by the employee turning into the toy isle. I was honestly baffled as she could see I had already started to pick up the mess my child made. Thankfully our cashier Lorena was much nicer too us.

Cashier not friendly plus she acted like she couldn't concentrate she kept counting and recounting the money. She recounted the money the money 6 times, very irritating. This used to be a friendly dollar general but lately no one says hi or have a nice day or thank you for shopping dollar general. Seriously if this is a hard job to be courteous maybe you need to go to McDonald's and flip burgers where you don't have to be nice to a customer!

Was confronted with a cashier that complained to me about a change problem. Then gain a attitude....I understand everything about waiting on people and I don't complain about service problem with having to do with the cash operation of the business.Will probably limit my visiting the store.

Convenient, fast, and surprisingly stocked with unique items that you'd think wouldn't be there. Honestly the Freeland location is worth the drive, in a centralized location, situatedin the heart of the Tri-city area. It's by far the cleanest store of it's kind, which is saying something given that there seems to be one every 15 miles in any direction.

Dollar general. What’s not to like about Dollar General? Everything’s a dollar. Well, not necessarily. If you just need some stuff and don’t want to pay full price just come here. The place is clean, the employees are nice. I recommend you spend your good old fashion in God we trust American dollars here.

It’s Dollar General my first stop for anything lol. Very friendly staff, always treat my family with respect. Sometimes short staffed but always make that up with working harder. Keep it up everyone! 👍🏼

The store in Freeland, Michigan is nice. You can tell management at this store care. The ones in Saginaw, Michigan are very messy and need attention. If one store can keep things organized so can the others.

I was in today and apparently the person taking care of us was an assistant manager,and when asked about a sale product was rudely told IT WOULD SAY IF IT WAS ALL PEPSI PRODUCTS, I go to this store at least 5 times a week,,and I even asked the lady if she was new and she informed me quite lippy that she been there 6 years and was an assistant manager..well I guess I will drive the extra few miles into Midland from no on.

This store is a mess!! I would go some where else and pay more than shop there.... They don't have the shelves stocked and are always out of Dollar General brands!!!😣 It's sad that it is so trashed and unorganized!!!
