Lovely independent bookstore right in the heart of downtown Frankfort. Everyone was friendly and helpful in finding what I was looking for! New release section is a little small, but still had great options for a smaller size bookstore. Loved the Michigan history section, really stood out among other bookstores I’ve been to. Will definitely be back!

Pretty good bookstore. Can always find a book for my child here. They don't have everything, as I found out on my last trip. I was able to find someone similar. They didn't carry the Dragons Master Series, had Wings of Fire and Magic Tree House series though. They do have a very good selection of books and stationary for what they do have.

Great selection for the kiddos and just ok for adults. But the vibe is cool and relaxing in here. I like that it’s not trying to hard.

Easily one of my favorite spots in Frankfort! Book selection is always amazing, and the owner is so nice. This past July I went in to buy some puzzles and had a really nice conversation with him about the flags he had in his store and my dreams of becoming an author, and he was so supportive! If you love books, this is an easy recommendation. And yes, the dog is amazing too!

The Bookstore is one of my wife and my favorite places to visit in the summer. This year we met your grandson that was working the counter, and I had a very nice conversation with him, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Picked up a new read and left with a happy feeling, as always. Can't wait to return on our next northern visit to Frankfort. My favorite book store and alot of Michigan history and Michigan based storytelling and romance and mystery novels. Has everything here. Awesome book marks and little additional gifts and trinkets and newspapers of area. Love this place. Buy books here daily. Love the Frankfort books

This store has a fantastic selection of adult and children's books. They have just enough that there is plenty of variety, but it isn't overwhelming. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

Great old school bookstore! No fancy coffee bar and hipsters trying to loudly impress everyone around them.There is a very wide selection of books to read and a great kids books area.

This book, “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success,” by Deepak Chopra has become one of my go-to books in my life . I bought this spiritual guide at your store the summer of 1994 when my family and I were spending a week near Watervale. The Bookstore is a refuge for individuals and families as they spend their leisurely summer days. Thank you, Bookstore, for always being there for me and my family for over 25 years ! My children always found books to capture their imagination while my wife would rely on your NYTimes’ Best Sellers and I’d seek my peace and calm in your tiny poetry section. Ive always found good greeting cards that would feature local artists - - - just as your front window displays would proudly proclaim the literary “wares” of Michigan’s finest writers, artists, illustrators and poets. I hope you realize how much your bookstore is at the heart of so many of our collective family memories.What an amazing feeling of paternal pride when I witnessed my son helping his 7 and 2-year-old sons choose books for their beach stay in Frankfort this past summer . My oldest grandson, AJ, found a seat at the cozy bench in the kids’ corner while his younger brother, Henry, perused the wide array of fun and whimsical hand- puppets. Thank you , Bookstore, for being a legacy locale where generations of families - - - mine included- - - can find solace and comfort in the written word.I’m so grateful .
