I go to Family Fare 3 or 4 times a week. First off, PLEASE clean your store. When you walk in, it is so incredibly dirty. I don't think the matts have ever been cleaned. The advertised specials are often out and regular stock is low. I realize this is a tourist area and good workers are hard to find so I do understand. The employee have all been very nice and helpful at all times.

The only game in town...What are you going to do?Crazy prices on some things. And you have to use the "card" to get the sale price, or you really get reamed.And don't look too close at the corners...

Prices can be criminal, and there was only one cashier the whole time. Took forever to checkout for just a few items, perhaps consider a self checkout option.

Overall one of my favorite grocery stores when I am up in Northern Michigan area. Better than a Food Lion or Piggly Wiggly if your from those areas, not as quality/choice wise as a Kroger or Harris Teeter. My overall favorite grocery store for quality, choice and price is the Texas H.E.B.

Ok. Grocery store if I need anything in the area. Was out of almost every random item I needed or I found it in very odd places while looking for other things. Is a weird setup and hard to find stuff but one of the only grocery stores in the area if I don't want to travel to Benzi. Staff friendly and are helpful.

Visiting from Texas and the staff did not represent Michigan well at all. First, we called what we believed was this location and asked what time they close and we were told midnight. We arrived around 9:45p and started grabbing some groceries for stay at a local Airbnb. Around 9:50 the lights on the whole store started flickering as if to indicate they were closing and around 9:55 staff started walking down the aisles telling us if we didn’t get up to the front to check out the registers were going to shut off and they wouldn’t be able to check us out. When we told the staff member what we were looking forward to complete our order she was extremely rude. We explain that we had called ahead and they told us we must have spoken to the store in Manistee which was completely possible and an honest mistake. She came across like she might’ve been the manager but she was a complete Karen. The cashier who was the only other employee left, a short haired blonde, had a really bad attitude while checking us out and the prices were absolutely crazy. We didn’t even get very much and we spent over $200. Will not return during our week long visit. Meijers, here we come.

Great hometown store. Friendly staff. Really good variety of seafood, fresh cut meats and fresh produce. Recently moved into the area and I'm looking forward to getting more familiar with the store. REALLY happily surprised by the 50 cent off per gallon coupon for gas at BP on Main...Wow that's a great reason to keep coming back to see what other surprises and savings are, forgive the pun, in-store.

I don't like it at all. I very rarely stepped into the one in Frankfort. I can't believe how many items went up in price. Not much choice if you can't drive all the way to Traverse city.

Nice clean store.Higher prices than other local competitors.Employees are NOT very friendly or helpfull.I frequently visit this store simply because It's close to my location. I have never had an employee voluntarily offer to help me in any way and this is the reason for my 3 star rating.

Forgot to bring my fave Chai tea and they had it and were open at 7am on Thanksgiving Day. They also had beef consomme, which we cannot find at home. The large paper bags with handles are great.

The employees at this location are the rudest I have ever met. The cashier yelled at myself and another customer while she was on duty with her checkout light on stating that she has no interest in working and we need to get checked out somewhere else. I’d be better off paying with pennies hand counting them myself then ever using their cashiers. Will never be going back. Prices are also 30% then any other grocery store around. Total rip off

Great grocery store in the town of Frankfort. Really good selection if wine/beer along with a fresh bakery, large selection of fresh fish and many unusual items (I found a Brita water filter that we had searched for in other markets but did not find). Plenty if non-food related items as well. Just be sure to sign up for the discount card to save extra $$.

Yeah they had a Great Sale right before Christmas, I picked up most everything that I needed. The store was well stocked and clean, fast service, I had a great shopping experience.

I stayed in Frankfort longer than expected and I had to pick up some odds and ends. I was impressed with the selection Family Fare has. Very much like Hillers market. The staff was very friendly and the complimentary coffee was quite good.

Best choice for grocery shopping in Frankfort, but it's a little difficult to get to with the current construction going on in front of it. If you want to save some money, I would recommend driving to Benzonia to the Save A Lot for some of your groceries. The staff here at Family Fare is friendly and they will give sale prices and some discounts to people from Southern Michigan who have a Yes Card.

Cashier with the soul patch has an attitude problem. Everyone else is pretty cool. Also you can tell the head manager is a total Karen. How about you make the grunts get the carts from the parking lot maybe then you can have a better attitude. Also people who make mistakes with wic don't need to be embarrassed by your lack of proficiency and understanding of YOUR point of sale system. Witnessed attitude problems because a customer didn't specify before or after, what was what like they know how your system works. You're a bunch of scumbags

Only grocery in Frankfort. That being said, it was more than I expected for a town this size- A good selection of everything needed for a family of four to vacation for a week. Check out people were friendly and helpful.

They have rats in there store I've seen them twice while I was shopping. They dont throw there rotten fruit and produce away like it should b done. The isle ways r to cluttered up. They need new management. The store is a pig pen.and prices are to high.

Be prepared for lights to flicker and dim a half hour before close, and to be treated like it’s a crime to be there so late. I’ve lived in Frankfort for years and only shop there now when absolutely necessary for 1-2 things.
