Good food. Burger was not cooked as asked, but good enough ( a bit more well done that asked for). Service was slow. Not that they were short staffed, just the server was gone. The other two servers were hovering around their tables, ours showed up to bring the food, then the check. I had to go to the bar myself to get more drinks. About a 20 minute disappearing act.Not sure if the place is air conditioned as it was our first time there. Pretty warm inside.Other than that, the onion thing was great. We split the burger which was good.

I only went there recently during the pandemic, but it has been fantastic every time I've gone there.Update February 2023:I've been going here more often, and everything I get always tastes amazing. I really love their burgers, and the BBQ sauce is excellent.Parking: During the summer it can be difficult to get parking but usually you don't need to park further than a block away and in Frankfort that's not very far. Usually, a side street works.Wheelchair accessibility: The building is ground floor and easy to access. There's even 2 handicap parking spots close to the front of the restaurant.

Immediate seating at the bar on a Saturday around noon. Fast, friendly service. We had the fried cod sandwich with fries. Crispy, hot and delicious. Reasonable prices, great food and wonderful service!

The atmosphere here is nautical themed. It doesn't smack you in the face with it, just enough to make an enjoyable feel to the place. There's not a ton of seats, just enough to be cosy.I went a little crazy ordering, thinking I'd have leftovers. I ordered the Bacon Wrapped Sausage ($9). Then a half order of Honey Chipotle Wings ($8). Finally a half order of Ribs ($20). I started with the wings. They were excellent. Very tender and sweet and spicy. Not burning spicy, just smack you spicy. They were juicy and came right off the bone! The bacon wrapped sausage is a spicy andouille. Sadly it's just six small bites. That being said it is very good. Lol after the wings the slice in andouille was mild! The Ribs were spectacular. Fall off the bone tender and between the spices and bbq sauce on it it has amazing taste profile! It also came with coleslaw and bomba fries. The coleslaw was amazing, soooo good! The fries were good, but nothing special. I had no left overs.The service was excellent. Very friendly. They check on you and treat you like a normal.Overall an easy 6 star review. I mean 5, lol. Would I return? I don't know when, but heck yes I'll be back!

Dinghy's was recommended by a former local so we decided to try it out. I had a BBQ quesadilla and a cheese stick. It was soooo good! The cheese stick was wrapped in a won ton which was new for me. The service was friendly and our food came shockingly fast. Definitely recommend!

Normally I don't like Bar/Grills but this place felt more like a nice old friend. First time I ever been there however. Food was Amazing.I had the Cod sandwich with sweet potato fries. Simply Incredibly the best I've ever had. ❤The place is small n it was Packed. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated. However it was So Worth it. If I lived near this place I'd go often., but I'm in Ludington. My best friend and I were on our way home from seeing the tunnel of trees n detoured a little to Frankfurt because she wanted to find the place she ate at years ago with her family, we didn't find it but found this place, soooo glad we did.Staff that we dealt with was sooo friendly n kind. Even though they were Packed wall to wall they were still smiling and happy and so kind.I'd recommend this place to everyone.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is great. You can tell just by pulling up that it's a local favorite just by how many cars are in front of the place. Everything on the menu sounded great, and the server was quick to make suggestions for a first-timer. The Sevice was quick, and the food was just as described. The food was stellar, and portion sizes were huge. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Fish fry on fridays is a must!! Cod and Perch, choice of potato and Cole slaw. The forbidden fruit hard cider is delicious!! The fresh pork rinds (cracklins) and cheese sticks are fabulous appetizers!!!

Dinghy's is a necessity when we take a trip into Frankfort! Not only is their food amazing, but we have never waited more than 15 minutes to have our food brought out to us, even when they had a full house! The wait staff is incredible, always having conversations with my toddler who only babbles, yet they pretend it's the most interesting conversation in the world. Their food is always hot and incredibly tasty!

A nice small restaurant and bar that makes things from scratch. Loved the dry rubbed wings and wonton cheese sticks! My pulled pork sandwich was huge for 10 bucks with great flavor and bun from the local backery!
