Per my mother “Gingerbread cookies hard as a rock. You’ll bust your teeth eating one of these. Too freaking hard. They probably make them in bulk and freeze them so they aren’t fresh when you buy them.”Stars are based on how much my mother complained. Typically loves the nutty crescents but she feels hurt by the gingerbread.

Stopped in for coffee & tea. Very helpful and great to start the day with a hot beverage. Decided to order breakfast sandwiches to go and was happy to find out they have Gluten Free bread as an option. Ordered the Crescent Morning and Sausage, Egg and Cheese Croissant with extra avocado and they were both super delicious! Of course had to grab some sweet treats for later in the day and the turnovers and croissants were still mouth watering good. Everyone was super friendly and helpful - will definitely be back.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch every time we were in the area, but no more. They used to have a good Cuban sandwich with chips and a great bean dip for less than $10 on a little paper plate.. This year the Cuban was gone, so I ordered a BLT. That's what I got in a paper bag for $11.45. No chips or dip, or even a paper plate to eat on. No outdoor seating. The BLT was good but nothing special at all. Just average in size. Sorry but this place is off our list now.

This is where you go to get an apple fritter. I was on a road trip from Indiana and being a baked good junkie, I stopped in to check this place out. Not a robust selection but their apple fritters looked really good. 95% of the time apple fritters are a disappointment because there is little to no cinnamon, the apple is virtually nonexistent, and there is so much sugar your pancreas explodes out your back. Not these, the apple fritters at this bakery are outstanding. There were actual slices of apple coated in cinnamon, and I did not feel like I was biting into a sugar cube.Great place to stop for a coffee and an apple fritter to start your day.

We've had a home here for years and have visited this bakery often. I walked into the Crescent Bakery this morning and asked for a DOZEN doughnuts. Common order. The young man behind the counter repeated "A Dozen?" so I know he heard me. I picked out the doughnuts, drove home, opened the box and there were only 10 inside. It specifically mattered, as we had company and had had a special request. I drove back up there with the box, spoke to the same young man and asked for the two I wasn't given. He proceeded to look through the entire transaction run on the register and then told me that he had only charged me for 10 doughnuts. Who buys 10 doughnuts? He said I needed to run to my car and get $3.00 more in order for him to correct the order. What? HE made the mistake and it was an inconvenience to me to have to drive back. Talk about irritating. The least he could have done was to put the two doughnuts in the box, apologize and send me on my way. I went to the car and got him the $3.00. Had I not had company, I wouldn't have spent another dime there. And, BTW, it was not busy. It was early morning and only one other customer was there. Normally, I understand; mistakes are mistakes. This young guy, however, needs to be trained in customer service and customer relations. He's not good for business.

What an amazing start to my morning. My guilty pleasure every Thursday is to treat myself to one of the many delicious selections of baked goods this bakery offers. It is hard to say what my favorite indulgence is but the chocolate raspberry bismarck and/or maple doughnut seem to be my "go to". All the choices are sure to be a great choice, no matter what.

Oh.my.goodness!New to the area and craving homemade doughnuts, we drove the 30 minutes from home to the Crescent Bakery in Frankfort. Greeted by friendly staff, we purchased a variety of pastries to try and each and everyone of them have been superb, 100% delicious! The Lemon Bismarck, the Cinnamon Roll and the Nutty Crescent are amaaazing just to name a few 😋Our new go to bakery!

Known for their donuts which are great. However, other things on the menu are less than desirable or as listed. For example, ordered two “fruit cups” today in an area known for amazing fresh fruits. Received two cups of mass produced mandarin oranges from the grocery store. Needless to say we were very disappointed.

Absolutely horrible customer service from the store Manager. Mr. Adrian was very rude and would rather give a refund vs making sure my order was correct. I prepared for my order and when we arrived to pick up our order they said the pretzels will not be done till 11:30 am. When I made the order they said come by in the morning to pick them up (it's a prepaid order) now we have to wait additional 40 minutes. Mr Adrian says he can't get my pretzels because he is talking with me about their mistake!!! Absolutely horrible CUSTOMER SERVICE. Editing my review after receiving my pretzels. After waiting 50 minutes they said it would take another 30 minutes!! So the lady running the counter suggested they refund my money! Another worker found my 2 boxes that have been made and sitting at the bottom of the rack!! I work in the customer service business and the only option is great customer service is standard. The pretzels are 5 star worthy!! Hopefully this isn't standard service for Crescent Bakery.

busy morning when I stopped. I only ordered one of the autumn customer favorites: pumpkin cake donut. It was delicious. Although I was drooling over the Apple dumpling. It was so perfect to split with someone - eat with a cup of yummy coffee. An amazing cookie jar collection along the ceiling. They also had shelving for call in orders. Bakeries appreciate patrons to call a day or two ahead for big donut orders. Otherwise it wipes out their donut inventory for the casual donut order for the parents with kids on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Support your local bakery even if it's once a aeek. If your off sugar, buy a donut or sweet roll.for your parent or grandparent or elderly neighbor. That's a great surprise for them! I used to take buy a donut for my elderly father. Happy donut lovers

This has been a family favorite for decades. It was extremely disappointing to learn they’ve changed their hours to Th-Sun. The kids were excited to go in today to pick out there donuts at 8:30 am. We were disappointed to learn they were sold out because apparently you need to place your donut order the day before in store only. You cannot order online. No communication to loyal customers about this change either. Children don’t get excited about picking out donuts they can’t visualize and have to wait 24 hours to actually receive. The dog treats are gone. Only 4 staff members working. The quality of the breakfast sandwich has changed. Really disappointing. I hope they can turn it around. Such a shame.

Pastries and bread were delicious. Sandwiches really good as well-vegan options. Coffee is very average, little watery. Great food, nice service, but slow as can be. Waited 35 minutes for one veggie sandwich.
