I keep coming back here! Well-crafted dishes and desserts that never disappoint. The fried chicken and risotto have been favorites. Great apps and shared plates. Creative drinks. Love the seasonal ingredients and flavors used.EDIT: I hope they keep the Bread Blossom on the menu forever, as well as the Hatch Queso Sliders. So good!

Do not miss this place! The food is gorgeous, extremely creative, and expertly executed. The service was over the top great. I told them we had a birthday, and they called ahead for our desert order and sat us in a room by ourselves to make the experience perfect. Granted, it is off season mid-week, don't expect that in July, but they really deserve being recognized for going above and beyond. This will be a new regular haunt of ours without question. Sorry the pic is a bit blurry, the food deserves better!

Hostess didn’t know how to handle a larger party. Would not let us put our tables together for a party of 8. My chicken and waffles was delicious, banana bread pudding was amazing. Unfortunately there was a shortage of spoons, ice for water, jam for toast, butter. Seriously skimping. Coffee should be the first thing you bring to the table for breakfast but the server took our order and then had to come back and re-ask our drink selections. They finally got their act together and asked us if we wanted to top off our coffees and waters. We had to ask for ice. We had to share a spoon to stir our coffees. Had to ask for more creamer for the table. Had to share a pen to sign our checks. Annoying.

Amazing dinner Sunday night! I would highly recommend the muscles and clam appetizer. It was so good we couldn’t stop eating it. I ordered the smash burger which was delicious and my husband ordered the risotto which was good but not as amazing as everything else we had. The service was excellent!

The culinary landscape in Northern Michigan in winter is a bit tundra-ish. Unless one wants to make the trek into Traverse City and spend a couple hundred dollars, the pickins' are a bit slim. This establishment has been on my radar for a while, but every time we've been in the area, the restaurant has been slamming busy. February is a great month to give it a try. There was no wait to get in and the front house staff was efficient and friendly. The food? Wow! We loved it. Everything - the perfectly fried chicken, the crisp but airy waffles, the chorizo in the burrito - was perfect. It was obvious that attention had been paid to detail and that standards were high. My one small complaint is that it is a bit tight and very loud in the interior part of the restaurant. I could not hear our waitress as she described the specials. That won't keep us from returning!

Visited for lunch with about 12 people [2 tables of six]. Menu was great with a range of food for any appetite. Service was very friendly and efficient! Nearby street parking and lot parking. Outside seating available. We'll be back for more! Had the Fish Tacos and Breakfast Burrito 🌯 !! Excellent!!

My family and I came here over the summer and could not stop talking about it! We had their fried green tomatoes and portobello fries and it was absolutely delicious. My family and I agreed that we haven’t been somewhere in so long where the service, food, drinks, and atmosphere were all a 10/10. We seriously can’t get over how good it was. You have to go check them out!

This place set the mood for the start of a wonderful birthday weekend away. This was one of the best breakfast experiences we may have ever had and even in a pandemic! The food was amazing and look like art, there were cocktails and the music and ambience was warm, welcoming, fun and relaxing! The staff was so friendly and enjoyable talk to, Birch & Maple definitely was a big hit with our family and deserves a huge thank you from us for such a wonderful visit! Oh, did I mention there were cocktails?!! Loved it!

I wish I could give this place 6 stars! My wife said her caesar salad was the best she'd ever had and my chicken and waffle was the best I've tasted bar none. Staff was super friendly and courteous. The vibe was Northern, but also trendy. We have a new favorite restaurant up north!

Maple and Birch is a treat. We booked mother's day reservations, and the experience was phenomenal. The wine pairings were perfect for each course, and the sommelier was so enthusiastic when explaining the choices he made.You can tell that Maple and Birch care deeply about their business. Super cute restaurant with delicious food! The atmosphere is really cool! I stopped in for breakfast and ordered a veggie omelette, it was amazing. They also have homemade preserves. Today they had strawberry and it was soo good. Most restaurants ask me and my partner if the bill is together or separate. This was one of the only restaurants who didn’t ask us this and just handed us the bill. Very appreciative of this progressive restaurant.

I heard good things about this place, and had been wanting to try it. Definitely not a family-friendly atmosphere. Hostess was not friendly at all. Our server was very nice/cordial, but the kids menu is only verbal. The food is very expensive for what you get. (I wanted to try the steak special, but couldn't justify over $60 for it.) I enjoyed the "Nashville" chicken, which I was told was not very spicy, but I expected at least some spice. It was very bland. But otherwise good. My husband got the ahi tuna dish and liked the kick it had, but was overwhelmed by too many flavors and it was a small portion for the price. Our son's fried chicken fingers and waffle fries were great though! Guess you have to go off menu here. ;) You may be better off checking out the taco place next door which looked like a really fun atmosphere!

Had an amazing experience. Service was top tier. We had the portobello fries for an appetizer. My husband had the Ahi Tuna. He loved it, but said it was spicy. But he likes spicy ☺️. I had the Artichoke and goat cheese pasta and it was so good. Lovely atomosphere.

If I could leave this place 0 stars I would. My partner and I were excited to try this place but left extremely disappointed and upset. When we asked questions about their seasonal menu we were answered in a extremely condescending way from our server. After putting in our order our server did not acknowledge us again and a table that ordered the same exact menu items about 10 minutes after us got their food first. The food was decent but extremely small portions for the price. After eating we sat for 10 minutes with dirty plates in front of us while the table behind us got their plates cleared by our server and even got asked if they wanted dessert. All we got was our check. No mention of dessert or even a water refill. I don't like to throw accusations out there, but my only assumption for us getting treated inferior is racism. Do better! Train your staff better! From someone that is a server themself.

Outstanding food. Their house Bloody Mary was spicy and wild. Loved it. Balanced it out with the breakfast salad that legit blew my mind. Was shocked how much I loved it. Something about that balsamic took it to the next level.The jam for the toast was lovely and mellow.I didn’t expect such a memorable meal.Husband said his meat lovers omelette had the most meat he has ever seen in an omelette. It was loaded with sausage, bacon, and ham.The staff hustles hard. Thank you guys.

Always great! This place is dialed in on all aspects of customer service and food quality. It’s a great place for a comfortable dining experience. The waitstaff is attentive without over servicing. Entree presentations are beautiful. I’ve eaten here many times since they opened in 2018 and it has always met or exceeded my expectations. They do take reservations for the evening service and that can be done through the Yelp app. No reservation capability for Brunch but you can add yourself to the waiting list through the Yelp app as well. Great place!
