This is the first time we stayed here in 25 years of coming to Frankfort. 1 minute drive to the beach and 12 minute walk💓 When I booked I was nervous that there wouldn't be enough storage for me and my daughters. There was ample. Multiple luggage racks lots of racks and storage in the bathroom. There was even coffee!!! That makes me so happy. And cute little soap. Nice tv. Cold fridge cold a/c. Lots of room to put my luggage. So clean. This place is super clean. And there's a fan in the bathroom which is awesome. Room was ready when we got here. The bed is so comfy!! And no itchy topper. It feels like your bedding at home. Shower was big for a stand up shower. There were ample towels when I arrived also.Rooms: The bed is so comfy some rooms have chairs in the rooms. My daughter loved our lounge chair outside and my other daughter loved that there's a table and chairs outside too.Nearby activities: Huge playground. Marina resturants super close.Safety: Really quiet I always feel safe in Frankfort and I felt safe hereWalkability: So close to everything. If the walk is too far there is always parking downtown. 1 min driveFood & drinks: Bring your food there's a fridge and microwave. And all over the park and Marina are grillsNoteworthy details: Cold a/c cold fridge coffee and coffee maker. Good storage

This property advertised AARP rate. I was not able to select the AARP rate on-line reservations. I phoned to speak with someone, who assured me that I could have the AARP rate. I then followed up on property and spoke to the manager on duty - who assured me the AARP rate would be applied and I would see adjusted rate upon CC billing. That didn't happen. I then sent all info and a letter via snail mail. I have received no response to correct the issue. I am disappointed and this was out first time at this lodging facility.

Management and housekeeping gals were great. The carpet was stained and greasy feeling... absolutely filthy. For $200+ per day we expected better. The room should have been $30 or $40 per day. So much more was wrong. The bathroom door is 24 inches wide. The bathroom blind was broken, we fixed it . I'm 5'5" and when I was sitting on the toilet my knees were 4" from the wall while my feet were pushed into the molding. The only shelf in the bathroom was 3&1/2" by 18". The old shower curtain smelled like mildew. The doors have big bug gaps under them. No easy chair, no office chair, no dresser but there is a 32" TV.

Such a cute little up north motel. It reminds you of the homey little motels of days past. The bed was extremely comfortable and it is the perfect spot for walking into town easily and access all the great restaurants and beach. But the best part of our stay was Melissa who is the sweetest soul and so kind. What was initially booked as a quick weekend get-away for my husband and I, morphed into a wellness weekend for our college-aged daughter who had been struggling. Melissa was so kind and accommodating and made us feel so welcomed. She reached out to make sure we were okay and gave wonderful restaurant recommendations, too! We will definitely be back!

Clean and friendly. We were able to easily walk to town to enjoy the bars and food in town. Good for a quick night in town, we'll stay again next time we come to Frankfort.

Adorable, comfortable and sparkling clean rooms! My 6 kids, spouse and I rented a cottage with a fully-stocked (dishes, pans, dinnerware, etc) kitchen as well as a smaller cottage with 2 beds, and we all had plenty of space! The property is just a few blocks from a cute downtown area, and just a few more blocks to an incredible beach, which my kids walked to every single day. Soft sand, a pier walk out to a lighthouse, swings and beautiful sunsets each night. We loved eating at the picnic table and longing in the chairs outside of our bungalows. Fantastic vacation!

A quaint little motel like we used to stay at in the 50's & 60's...only with AC!Very clean and pleasant. If your looking for a Radisson, it's not for you... but it was full all week. That says a lot to me! And the owners & staff were extremely helpful and friendly!

This was certainly a "you get what you pay for" situation. Booked off season for a quiet weekend and the price was great. Everything else was terrible. The room was 90° with the thermostat at the lowest setting. I was warned the room ran warm but this was ridiculous. People were knocking on the next door throughout the night. Paid for a 2 night stay but left as soon as the sun came up after the first night. Been calling and waiting for a callback since.

The only thing I loved about this place was the house keeper. She was so kind.As for the room. Way over pieced. Not worth $300 for the night. The beds are worn out and need to be replaced. The bathroom is tiny you can barely turn around in it. Updating needs to be done to accommodate that price tag.If there is going to be major construction, you may want to let folks know that before booking or at least put out detour sinage. This was seriously hard and frustrating to find. Oh and nobody is ever available to answer the phone. We will not be back.

This was a convenient budget-friendly stay for my husband and I to the area's spectacular autumn colors. The bed was comfortable, the room clean, and very nice checkin. We enjoyed the extra touches in the room, like books and pretty decor. It wonderful to have a refrigerator and coffee machine too. We would stay again.

No privacy curtains, (management thought this was no big deal as told many rooms didn't have blinds!) confronted about parking partially on lawn (there was no where else to park!) and I was told I was "high maintenance" for actually asking for the correct wifi password which was written down incorrectly by them. Yikes! We left a day early. Loved the town though and everyone was very friendly, outside of this encounter.

With the reviews on this motel, I expected so much better. I would not recommend this place at all.I have so many pictures of the issues with this place. The shower was dirty, the towels provided were stained. Woodwork around the doors and windows was dirty and broken. Carpets and upholstery were stained and ripped. There were all kinds of flying bugs all over the room. We went to the office and attempted to contact the owner, but got no response. We could barely stand staying one night, and packed up and left the next morning, which really impacted our vacation in general. For the price we paid ($200 + a night), this was not at all acceptable. The town of Frankfort is amazing, but Bayport Lodging is a hard pass if you are at all particular about the cleanliness of your accommodations. The only thing that helped us with this experience is that we luckily booked through a third party booking website, and they were able to refund us for the night we didn't stay. We never even heard from the owners about our concerns.

This place was absolutely amazing. If I could leave 6 stars I would. The owner was nice, the beds were amazing, it's a lovely area, and after my time there I wanted to stay longer. But the best part of it all was Wallace. Wallace was the absolute most wonderful being. I got to pet him and spend time with this cat. He was fantastic and made my whole vacation 100% better.

Super cute motel. Perfect for our one night stay in Frankfort. Has all the toiletries and towels and extra pillows. Also had a window AC unit which was a lifesaver. The owner, Luann is super sweet and nice. The room was perfect size for one night. The whole motel was packed for the weekend. I wanted to give it 4.5 but it won't let you. I didn't give it five because her email from the website doesn't work and there wasn't a lot of information on the website for checkout so I had to call and leave a message and wait for her to call me back. Also there seemed to be the annoying up north bugs in the room. Nothing that you wouldn't see in a cabin or camping.

My first stay here 1.5 years ago was during the off season and they were really accommodating and hospitable, and yesterday i returned, it was my wife and my anniversary and we were openly welcomed as friends and even greeted with a card and a bottle of wine with cups. the water was hot and the stay was picture perfect. a very nice quiet atmosphere with helpful staff and a very pleasant cottage to stay in. will stay here every time i am in Frankfort.

Writing this review for my mother Sheri Torres. She was a employee at this hotel, for 6 months 7 days a week. With a promise of Christmas bounus. Which never received still trying to get it. The owner will not pay his employees correctly and expects them to give a 110 percent of their time and effort. All she wants is to be paid for her time. He ignores phone calls and text messages. He does not pay his bills either.

Very nice for the price and location. Nothing fancy but the room was clean and nicely decorated. They also went out of their way to provide us with an early check in so we could make it to the wedding we were attending on time.

The motel location is great for walking/ biking anywhere is Frankfort. We biked to the beach, breakfast, dinner, and bars. Also just a short bike ride to lake trail to Elberta. Very close to supermarket and gas station as well. The room was fairly clean but somewhat dated. A fresh coat of paint and a deep clean would go a long way. The bathroom needs a remodel. The staff we spoke with were pleasant and accommodating. Peak season price was around $150 per night.

We loved our stay. The rooms are very clean. The bathroom was small but unless you're 6'5 it was not a big deal. Great location!!
