Definitely not a place to miss. Good old fashioned candy, metal signs, personalized knives, yo-yo’s, ice cream dishes and more. They used to have old letters from an old letter press. I don’t know what happened to them. They have a good variety of taffy including pickle. The staff is friendly and welcoming to help you find what you’re looking for. I’ve been coming here for some time now.

There is so much fun stuff to look at in here! Definitely something for people of every age! There are aisles of all sorts of candy! My kids love being able to pick out some of their favorite candy! And the prices are pretty reasonable. I love all of the personalized items, like license plates, yo-yos, cups and toys!

Rau's was not what I expected. The main floor is packed with lots of inventory, but the upper floor and basement really look just thrown together. Most items are quite pricey, but we did find a couple of treasures - a magnet and a puzzle. I spoke with one friendly employee, but the others we encountered were quite unwelcoming (the man at the register and the older woman who was vacuuming.) Would I visit again? Maybe. Would I recommend it to others? Probably not.

Great variety of almost everything spread across like 5 rooms and two levels! Pre-packaged or bulk candy in an enormous variety, some that I can not really find anywhere else. Novalty and general signs, decor from silly to luxurious and a wonderfully pleasant staff! There is also a wide selection of jewelry that is sure to have an option for anyone.

This place is incredible, nooks and crannies for everything you could think of!I'd never think I could get a bar of Charlie Brown Sea Salt Dark Chocolate and a Michigan magnet all in the same store!

This store has a very wide variety of items. When you first walk in, there are a ton of different kinds of candies. There are a lot of decorative signs. They have a nice selection of puzzles, including some by Ravensburger. They have plenty of clothes, including sweatshirts, socks, pajamas, and hats. And there is a downstairs, as well. There is a little sports shop down there with Michigan, State, Tigers, and Lions paraphernalia.

Want a dill pickle to go? They’ve got them. Also, great candy selection! Candies that I haven’t seen for years. I really enjoyed touring the store with my grandson. We’ll be back

Stopped in here with my kids today - prices were amazing compared to the shops around it! Was able to let me kids pick out a couple things even on a budget! Super friendly staff too!

There is a lot of a lot! The prices are great and it's hard to leave empty handed. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Can easily spend a long time looking at everything.

The cashier's both were very friendly and efficient! The variety of candy was incredible and prices were reasonable!They didn't charge me extra to use my credit card, which was great! This seems to be a big thing in Frankenmuth now days! Took me back to my younger days with their selections!

This is such a nice little store. I hadn't gone there in years, and I was in need of some miniature figurines. I was disappointed to see that they discontinued carrying miniatures, but it was still fun to stroll through and see what else they had. It is a very unique store. It's worth it to go there for unusual gifts.

Great selection of taffy, buy as little or as much as you want, unlike other shops. Many other candy varieties and gifts available. Staff is friendly, customer service is amazing and knowledgeable of the area.

This is the place I go every time I'm in Frankenmuth because they have the BEST selection of taffy and old day's candy anywhere. Plus they have all sorts of other great stuff to look at that will surely catch your attention.

We love this place. It has a cool candy selection and a variety of unique trinkets and stuff for gift ideas. One room was all comic and movies trinkets. Oh yeah and we always have to get pickles. We went 2 weekends before Xmas and it was packed but still worth it

This is one of the best places to get old fashioned candy. The price per pound is excellent and the selection is unmatched. I recently got a dozen different candies and they can all be mixed in one bag. Chick-o-sticks, root beer barrels, Taffy and so much more. If you're in the area, stop by. (They also have a lot of antiques, clothes and jewelery, but let's be honest: the candy is where it's at.)

LOVED it! I had called last night (Sat, Dec 5) to inquire about tiny china animals. Susan was VERY helpful! So my husband and drove up this morning and purchased several replacement animals for the Santa, his sleigh, and four little elves, all handmade by my grandparents over 75 years ago! Today Mary helped me and I am SO delighted to report that I was able to replace every animal except a kitten. Thank you SO MUCH for employing WONDERFUL sales associates! I live in Clio, so I WILL be back! Merry Christmas!

I love this place all the old fashion candy and Wizard of Oz items. Plus other old movie memorabilia. Alot of great canned food items pickled eggs huge jar of pickles for the pickle lovers. Three floors of great stuff!

This place is packed with goodness. So many unique finds. It’s never ending. I’ve been multiple times and it wasn’t until my last visit that I realized they had an up and downstairs with more goodness!!! Great candy selection in the front of the store.

We visit Rau's Country Store whenever we come to Frankenmuth. Awesome place with creaky floors and an old time General Store feel. They sell everything from bulk candy to clothing. Never disappointed.
