Clean store. Very friendly staff. Not a huge store but has groceries. Better than my huge Giant Eagle back hone when it comes to stocking. Can find plenty of diet sodas. Items are rotated out pretty well.

my wife and I were standing at the service desk for 10 minutes at least. then someone came out of the office and walked right past us. Just as another Team member assuming was coming back from break? it seemed obvious to me she was watching the other team member as she approached thru the see through mirror.Then the new team member behind the service desk and waited on another customer who walked up from the other direction from us. She paged some one to the flower section for him.the she waited on us.normally get great service from this Kroger.

Produce department is often missing items, and produce seems to spoil faster than items purchased elsewhere. Shelf's are picked over and not kept fully stocked.

Floral buyers beware.Drove 20 mins to Kroger and bought a couple bunches of flowers. The carnation bouquet qty was shorted. And the mixed bouquet was completely rotted upon unwrapping them.

Went there to look at hot wheels and saw buy 1 get 1 free on the tag for premiums and character etc and they were on all 3 pegs. When I went to checkout it did not ring up. The person at the checkout would rather inspect and take time up and not trust my photos. They were clearly marked. Don't waste ur time here they dont honor prices.

Was ok , store variety is not as good as others , but it is a small kroger. Items in flyer were not available or never in stock. I still shop sams club and Walmart for items kroger in frankenmuth does not carry.

Nice clean store, well stocked, but severely understaffed. Please hire more people and your store will be great. Very long wait times and half the registers closed.

I love our hometown Kroger!I've been shopping for my own family there for the last 20 years, and I shop for other families through Instacart there a lot as well. All of the employees are rock stars, especially Rick in the meat department, who always goes out of his way to make my job easier. My sincere appreciation to the whole team.

This place really helped us out on our vacation. It is just north of town and we got some extras plus a couple of things so you don't have to pay crazy prices at the hotel.

Perhaps a little smaller than some? No matter-if you need it, they have it! I like the Bavarian look outside. Well stocked and clean. Nicely equipped with fully charged Mom scooters as well!

Bought two containers of strawberries today, both had mold growing on them. Attempt to call to inform and cant even get through. Kind of pathetic that i can get through to a human being to try and keep others safe

I bought 2 beef roasts on 1/26/23. Both roasts looked great until I got them home and started cutting them up . Both roasts had been out and turned over to look fresh. Shame on you Kroger for selling old meat!I will not be back in your store.

The new facility looks very nice! Every person that I interacted with was also extremely polite. The cashiers were very polite, and did not gripe or have any issues with me using my coupons, which is always nice!

Shopped here yesterday. I live about 30 minutes away and came to Frankenmuth to camp for a couple of days. This Kroger is the worst Kroger I've ever been in. My experience yesterday is not the first time I've had a similar experience at this Kroger. Bare shelves, limited selection, long checkout times and unknowledgeable staff. Doesn't Frankenmuth deserve a better place to buy groceries.

Middle of the road grocery store. We were vacationing in the area for a couple days and wanted a few things. We picked up a small rotisserie chicken from the deli section which was very small. It lacked flavor, skin was not crispy and the taste to me was weird. Maybe it's a US thing. The store was big enough with good selection but the customer service was atrocious. When we went to check out we were not getting the discounts at the self checkout so I hit the call button but seemed to wait forever for the employee to come over. When she did she just said "If you don't have the card you can't get the discount". I asked if they were free and she said yes and then walked off. She came back with a kroger card and proceeded to scan it and used the card on my cousins items as she was also not getting the discount. Then she slipped it in my bag none to thrilled and walked off! One of the least pleasant shopping experiences while in Frankenmuth!

Don't ever use ordering within the app for pickup. They pre-authorize your card for the full amount retail price without any sale prices, advertised pricing specials (buy 5 save $5), or any digital coupons in your account. They hold those funds from your card for 7 days, even after you pick it up and they give you a receipt for your actual total cost... Which is way less, and then they insist it's your bank holding the money from you not them ... and that your bank is the only one that can give it back to you which is complete BS. And when you call and try and talk to the department that is holding your funds at this store to get your money released back to your account they hang up on you.

I have been a long-time shopper of both the store and pick-up location but unfortunately, I will not be any longer.I had an issue with 2 missing items and an overcharge of deli meat. No problem I'll call up there! I spoke with Lisa the a.m supervisor who received my call and everything was fixed! A refund for the overcharge was coming my way and I could pick up my missing items. Lisa was sweet and understanding! She is the reason I am not giving 1 star.Then this afternoon Rosemary a different supervisor called me back and instructed that I need to unwrap the deli meat that I was overcharged and bring a pound of loose meat back so she could throw it away and then refund me. I found that quite wasteful even though the mistake was on the employee. After speaking to her and Megan a store manager there was no other option they were willing to come to other than to bring back the loose meet for them to through away. I deicide at this time I'd rather keep the meet instead of wasting food and ask for a refund for my missing items instead. I addressed both Megan and Rosemary with a calm voice and said if they were willing to go against what another employee said (Lisa the a.m supervisor said it was refunded and taken care of) and lose a customer over $4. Both of them said I need to do whatever worked for me. Rosemary then said she was too busy to listen to my issue and hung up the phone. This was after I was disconnected twice and sat on hold for over 10 min.I called cooperate where I talked to Erica! She was very helpful! They were saddened by the way I was treated aggreged it was not handled correctly and refunded me for my missing items and the overcharge like Lisa had promised to start with.I will not use Kroger pick-up any longer after the way Rosemary and Megan handled the situation. A simple $4 that was already promised for a mistake the store made among many others is the price they choose to lose a long-standing customer.

Was in there this morning and 3 employees are huddled right next to each other laughing and talking, I politely said hay 6 feet apart! One stepped back and as soon as I passed out of the corner of my eye their back huddled laughing. Please go home if you're not going to follow the rules to save lives.

Recently started doing the pick-up option for groceries...i will continue doing this even after the COVID-19 pandemic. They pick the best produce, offer options for out of stock merchandise, and the Kroger team bringing the order out is beyond friendly! Thank you for all you do!!

Beautiful store that has a lot of variety of everything, but no Kashi cereal, oddly. Everything is a bit pricey - I'd shop at Meijer for the best deals. However, the self checkout was fast and I was able to find the things I needed pretty easily.

Good place to go shopping, decent prices. Only one thing is it's crowded, crammed and congested aisles, not much room to move around, then if there are a lot of people it's crazy nearly impossible. Yet they do have a good selection of products though.

So nice of Frankenmuth Kroger to open their store to elderly and medically compromised on certain days from 6am-8am. What isn't nice is that they REFUSE to open a real check out until 7:30. Come on! What kind of customer service is that. I accidentally went at the designated reserve time this morning and was saddened by the way people, including myself, were treated. As I struggled to scan my 200+ items on a machine that clearly wasn't operating correctly, the elderly lady at the machine behind me struggled with the concept in it's entirety. When she asked for help, the frazzled attendant advised her to "just read the directions". I glared at her and she reluctantly assisted the woman in entering her Kroger card number, but promptly walked away to assist the four other patrons who were equally frustrated. My items were ringing up with incorrect prices and I asked for a manager, since I was denied a cashier. While my icecream sandwiches melted waiting for a manager, I attempted to help the now crying lady behind me. The rude manager attempted to convince me that self scanning was more efficient and provided minimal contact. SERIOUSLY!?Kroger pharmacy in Frankenmuth is fabulous, but the grocery store itself has failed to impress me on countless occasions.
