I took my sweet boy in for his first grooming appointment today. I was nervous to see how he would do. When we walked in Kane was very nervous but all of the staff was super nice. He’s not around a lot of men and is very much so a ladies man. He started barking at the guys as soon as we walked in. They sat down and let Kane warm up in his own time. Which didn’t take very long. They did so good with him. I would definitely recommend their services to anybody. Their staff is great and their prices are very reasonable. They even gave him a pup cup for the ride home. Thank you for doing such a good job on my boy.

2/1/2024 My first time bringing my dog here for toenail trimming. No appointment needed, walk in welcome. My dog is beyond hard for me to get his nails, he's had bad experience with toenail trim at another facility. I warned them and he did really good. They did an excellent job on his nails and didn't take very long. $18 is worth me not spending over an hour trying to get just a couple toenails trimmed. He will be a frequent client now😁🐾🐾 2 paws up👍 This is my handsome boy4/4/24 came back for our 2nd toenails to be trimmed. It's AMAZING !!! Cody went back with them no problem and we were out in about 10 minutes. Yes, I heard him protest but 5 minutes of it vs 2 hours of us struggling to maybe get all toes done. He came out happy boy and they did a fabulous job doing nails and this time trimming the fur. 👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. Hurray!

This place and the people are amazing humans. They’re always friendly, always ready to listen, and they love the animals. They get to know your pet and they PAY ATTENTION to changes. That’s when I knew they were genuine. I can’t say enough good things about them. I absolutely love them.

Tony checked us in, it was our first time and first cut for our 4mnth old cockapoo. He was very friendly and answered all our questions. Chloe went right to him with no problem. I'm not sure the name of the girl who groomed her, but she did a great job. ❤️ Would highly recommend.

Love the drop in nail trims! Fairly quick and all 3 dogs are expertly handled. They Dremel the nails, and they come back smelling gorgeous!!

I recently took my pup here and they did Amazing! They cut his fur down without him having cuts on his skin, the people are sooo sweet, and he smelt so good whatever they sprayed on him!

Great place and amazing people. They treat your animals like family and us owners too😊They take their time, they don't rush. Don't expect a fast job, expect a good job. They are always busy and you have to call in advanced for an appointment, but that's ok, making 6 week appointments ahead of time is always a good idea. They do walk-in toe nail trims, which is awesome, as long as they have a minute. Sometimes you have to wait a few minutes. I would suggest calling first. They also do teeth brushing!Our animals always smell great for a long time and look so happy when they leave and come for their appointments 🐕🐱Thank you Smoochie Poochies

I have to admit that as a new client I was VERY nervous using a new groomer for my three girls😫😫😫😫😫We recently relocated to Flushing from Arizona where I had used the same groomer for many years 😍I preemptively gave all my former groomers info to Smoochie Poochies so they could connect and find out how my former groomer handled each one; especially the one I rescued who requires tender care.All my fears were relieved when I picked up three cutely groomed, happy, playful girls ❤Smoochie Poochies has won me over and we will definitely be back🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗Thanks sooooo much to everyone involved with my girls grooming 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

We have a nervous bully mix. Hey wasn't always so nervous but our senior dog passed and he had a personality change which makes taking him places a chore because he is so anxious. We hesitated for a long time taking him for grooming but he had super dry skin and nailsnwe couldn't get under control. Our vet would tr the nails but they be raggedy after. A friend recommended Smoothie Poochie to us and we figured just try. First time Lery Jethro, the dog, was a wreck to get in the building but the staff assured us he'd be ok and the more he came the easier it would get. LeRoy goes every 30-40 days now for a full groom, minus the hair trim because pit bull short hair, but his teeth and nails and ear and bath. He still gets nervous going in and they have to coax him to the back but he's gotten less nervous every time. The staff is so kind and understanding and patient with him. He leave smelling good, looking and feeling clean all over and his nails are properly taking care off. I can't recommend their services enough.I'll be honest, they told us there would be a price increase for services which I expected to be more than it was. I don't think the increase was enough given the cost of supplies I know they're dealing with and paying staff. I was prepared for way more and would/will happily pay.

They were very kind and understanding with my big girl. The last place we took her they could not handle her. Mostly my fault for bad training, but I don't want anyone to get hurt because of that.Ella came home with a lot of shedding fur which I would not have expected after bathing, drying, and brushing. I am not great at keeping up on her brushing, so that could be part of the reason.I was impressed with how quick they did everything for Ella but also somewhat suspicious. In under an hour they told me she would be ready in half an hour. She is a big girl and it takes me half an hour just to bathe her!They did a great job on her nails and even put some sparkles on them. They pointed out, correctly, that her quick was very long and that she is sensitive about her paws. Even with that, they got them down to a great length.The most concerning part about the visit was her ears. When she got home I checked her ears to see if they were cleaned. It was hard to tell if they were cleaned, mostly because of her mottled skin, but in one of her ears there was blood. She either got nicked by something or they were far too aggressive in cleaning and rubbed her ear raw. She was quite bothered by it the rest of the day.I cannot comment on their general quality, they may be great for most dogs. As it turns out, they just are not for my dog. Ella is a Great Dane who weighs in at around 115lbs.I did not mention this in a return call or say anything directly to the owner. I understand if they feel I should have said something to them first. I apologize, but I just want to move on and next time go elsewhere.

I could not take the hair in my home anymore, so I called and asked for the next available appointment. They had a last minute opening and I was ecstatic!! My husky/German Shepard can be a real pain, but they handled him just fine! He looked good, smelt amazing and everything was so throughout! For sure will be returning!!!

I was looking for a local place to take my grandmothers dog. I don't have a dog so I didn't know what to expect or what to ask.The reviews said this place is good and affordable. So I gave them a call...the lady was nice and fit me in same day.The price smelled really good and was easy to get to.They did a nice job with the hair cut and confirmed that the cut around her face was ok.She got her nails clipped, hair cut, shampoo and her teeth brushed for $50.

I've been taking my dogs here since they were pups. Now 3 years old and still going. They groomers here do more than just cut your dogs hair. They analyze your dog as well by checking over their body and making sure everything looks good. That counts for ears being cleaned out and confirming no infections or irritations, if their hair or fur gets too long they let you know what could happen and help keep you on a schedule that isn't for them to get you to keep coming back but for your dog to feel comfortable day in and day. My pup loves going here and is always treated very well by the entire staff. I've never had 1 bad experience here and if I did this is the place that makes right and assures their customers all leave with smiles and treats. If their prices are too high for you idk what to say, this local business in town is phenomenal and for the work they do and information provided it's worth our dollar and should be worth yours. Thanks for such great service all the time!!

This is the absolute best groomer we've ever been to! The staff here is so kind and they genuinely care. I have two dogs, one of which can be a bit intimidating and they handled both of our babies with ease. I can't say enough GREAT things about Smoochie Poochies! I'm going to recommend this groomer to all of my friends and family.

I took my 2 cats there to be groomed and they did a wonderful job! 2 weeks later and my cats still smell great, look great and feel great! The caring staff and groomers are a delight as well! I will definitely be going back!!

What a fantastic job they did on my senior German Shepherd!! He has a skin condition that causes him to get VERY stinky and greasy and when we bathe him anywhere else, he starts to stink again just a few days later. Well I don’t know what smoochie poochies did, but he came out super soft, fluffy, and smelling AMAZING! 2 weeks later and he still smells just as clean as the day he was bathed! And he’s hardly shedding, which for a shepherd is unheard of. They did amazing work on him and will now be his groomer for the rest of his life! Thank you Smoochie Poochies!!!
