It looks aged in there. The clothing selection is underwhelming and overpriced. There are signs that say to look for more size options online and then you go online and many things are sold out or unavailable. This used to be one of my favorite stores and my last visit was such a depressing experience.

Tom S. at JCP in Flint was exceptionally helpful. While shopping for a suit I didn't know how to select the correct fit. Tom came to the rescue! His experience shined as he helped select the right shoulder, waist and sleeve fitment. I'm very satisfied with the purchase!

Great selection ,picked up online order and found some great deals while in store . Went Christmas shopping this week and Jacobe in men's was Very helpful. Good selection and many options to choose from. Christmas in July sale going on this week. Bought pillows for 3.99 then used an online coupon for 30% more off. Flip flops huge selection are 1.99. Also the store still has workers available to assist shoppers.

If I could leave 0 stars for the lady at the jewelry counter with shoulder length sandy blonde hair I would. She is very rude for no apparent reason & doesn’t want to help anyone who’s not putting commission in her pocket. Do not work with this lady if she’s the last person working in the entire store. Her manager should probably get her some training on how to speak to other humans.

The pricing of everything in JCP is more expensive than ever before. I went to Kohls after shopping at JCP, and the prices were much more reasonable at Kohls, which is unusual since Kohls is known for having high prices. There were lots of clearance items that made the prices seem not as bad, although there weren't any clearances on anything of value. The store itself was clean and spacious. If I were extremely wealthy, I would've loved it and gave 5 stars.

Store prices are great Anna or Ann the person who checked me out however was not very pleasant. She was rude to the older lady in front of me and had rude comment for my question about pricing! She would be a reason I won't shop here again!

Bathroom has smelled like a sewer for months now and no one seems to care.Update 11/24/23. Still horrible smell in men's bathroom. Unbearable but decent if you can make your trip 30 seconds or less and hold your breath.

This particular JCPenney is in a mall that has been slowly dying for years. Clothing is OK. I never actually find what I'm looking for an settle for an over priced second choice. Staff are always friendly though and the store is clean and maintained.

Store is fine. Great variety of JC Penneys merchandise as always. Easy returns. Kudos to them for staying open. The mall itself is mostly dead.

Friendly staff and they usually have some great sales and deals going. This visit was focused on the jewelry department. I had ordered an item online and it was defective and broke almost immediately. I did not purchase the additional warranty for the jewelry, so I was nervous about taking the item back to the store. I'm happy to say that the employee who helped me was very helpful and very sweet and I had no problem whatsoever returning the defective piece of jewelry to the store. Unfortunately, I only wanted to exchange for the same item, but wasn't able to due to the fact they didn't carry that item in stores, only online. So they let me do the return without any issues.

This is one of my favorite stores to shop at. There are tons of cute clothes, footwear, and accessories to choose from. They have a Sephora's here as well. Also, their customer service is outstanding! I have a wonderful shopping experience every time I visit!!

Went there today to do some back to school shopping with my daughter. Found some nice clothes and good deals. Was given a 50% off coupon from one of the associates. My daughter lost her iPhone and was very upset. We looked everywhere for it but was doubtful we would ever find it or get it back. I notified one of the associates “Darlene” we had lost it. She took our info and within 20-30 minutes she had it and saved our day! She was great!!Thanks again Darlene!

Black Friday sales, stood in line I got a ten dollar gift card, lady age 76, said she got up at four to go out shopping for a microwave she got the 100.00 gift card. . Makes me feel better knowing someone who needed it got it. . Great job JCPenney's. It's always my first stop.

I'm not sure you really want my opinion. I waited in line while the clerk waited on one customer for a half an hour. I'm not sure she knew what she was doing. Good thing 2 people got disgusted and dropped out of line.The dressing room on second floor has no seat to sit onI recently had knee surgery, and it was VERY difficult to balance myself to try clothes on.

Graft prices, Awesome weekly sales. My go to A gift ,a quick outfit , awesome jewelry, Large shoe selections for the entire family. I Haven't purchased any appliances yet, but they look like good quality. I love all the house where items and so happy they bought back coupons so I can save even more. They have friendly staff, But often times at a minimum. I love this store.
