Worse Family Dollar I've ever been to. My baby needed diapers and hubby got wipes by mistake. The manager wouldn't even come into the store to do the exchange. He stayed outside talking and said come back tomorrow. Also, the cashier was rude. I'm never coming back.

Customer service was awful!! Cashier was video chatting while taking slow care of customers. She never greeted or even looked at me or any customers before me. Very rude. Others workers talking loud and using profanity.

Went in the cooler to grab milk and see this molded baking soda in the cooler, I told the guy that was standing there (a worker) and he said he wasn’t touching that. I swear I went back two days later it’s still there. This will get this place shut down because at this point nobody cares about anyones health. I will be going back to see if it’s there for a third time and if so I’m calling the health department

It's very convenient & the prices r great. Easy to pick up eggs, milk, bread & other things u may need for personal use. Great when u don't want to go out n the crowded stores.

BEWARE! AGGRESSIVE WORKER!Took a visit to this family dollar last night around 6:30pm and spent about $20. The man at the register handed me $3 worth of items and proceeded to continue with the rest of the customers and gave my things to someone else. When i addressed this issue, he began getting aggressive with me, saying well he doesn't know what to tell me when he was obviously in the wrong. Got disrespectful with me. I asked for the manager and she ran the cameras back she saw exactly what went down and resolved this for me.that man needs to be fired, written up, or some form of discipline. You can't be disrespectful in customer service.He also didn't have a name tag on and his name is not on my receipt.

Absolutely terrible experience here. Corporate was called, and the picture of the lady is posted because they want to close 15 minutes early and when she saw the camera she let us in. HORRIBLE customer service. Just absolutely disgraceful customer service. -Being a business owner myself, in my professional opinion everyone in this facility, When I say everyone I mean from this date and time. 9:45 doors were closed, 9:51 was finally let in. They need to/should be fired on the spot. Very unsatisfying, and unwelcoming feeling. No one should have to feel like that when they’re inside of a store that “threatening eerie feeling that they gave us, including a TWO year old. A terrible experience every time. Will never go to this facility again.

These businesses are so shady. I just came from this location on East 5th Avenue and you can clearly tell something is wrong with the management and the actual facility of this location. I previously bought 2 boxes of Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches from this location. When I opened each box, I found that the packaging encasing the sandwiches were a packaging different from the normal packaging that the manufacturer uses including the bottom biscuits were not the same biscuits used by the actual company. Coupled with the other issues in which I have been complaining about concerning this city, this local business is also purposefully putting specific food products on their store shelves that are not up to FDA codes or standards in regard to product, code, and food packaging. The needle in the hay stack is what can make you sick in the future.

I love having the Family Dollar store as my neighborhood store. They have a good variety of items at low prices. But many employees chat, and joke, around with each other while ringing me up. It is annoying especially if I am in a hurry and I worry about mistakes because they are not paying attention. not all employees, but most over the 6 years that I have been shopping there.

The staff is super friendly and I've found stuff here I can't find at other Family Dollars. Only complaint, and I'm sure others can agree and it's why it's 4/5 is the parking lot needs redone BADLY.

It's a convienant location, the manager is really incredible. She cares about her store inside and outside and the patrons. The parking lot needs help with pot holes but the management can't do much because it's corporate. Many products to choose from with different price points but decent selection.

A very disappointing shopping trip to a five and dime, or a.k.a. 5.00 n 10.00 store. Full of over priced needs and nesessities. Very uncool, anti social employees.Mother always told me if you can't say anything nic don't say anything at all.They do sell cigarettes and beer!! Just what the family needs! Where's the firearms?

Stopped by this location last week, and it was the worst visit to a Family Dollar store. There was trash (a LOT) scattered all around outside. Had to step over some while opening the door. The floors on about 3 aisles that I needed something from, were filthy!!!! There were things just thrown everywhere. It was terrible. And not to mention, the staff was SO UNPROFESSIONAL. They did more talking and laughing with each other, then they did communicating with the customers. Smh........will never visit this location again.

Great new look, inside has been totally renovated. Politeness as always from employees!!! Felt a bit saddened by the fact was the place a great person was murdered doing his job and trying to keep people safe.

The so called employees that work there are very “RUDE” and so unprofessional! They can’t even communicate with customers without getting loud and throwing temper tantrums. It seems as though the manager there came from off the streets because he had no mannerism period. Try to hire someone who can at least have some respect their customers

This is not my favorite location because of the area, but I've been very pleased with the service. The associates are always friendly and pleasant. The store is stocked with the products I want, and even with the area I've never come across a panhandler.

Everything’s terrible. Huge lines with usually one cashier, while workers follow people thinking they’re stealing or the store manager is just stacking shelves. Store is always a mess and often out of product. My main reason for writing this is the fact that they don’t accept bottle returns for periods of over a month at a time. Took a trip up there yesterday (Thursday afternoon) and was denied for $2 worth of bottles. I just left them there with no refund. Is there no district manager to come fix this store and make it functionable again? If not, it’s time for it to go.

Literally the worst parking lot in Flint I was genuinely scared for my vehicle. Bought some muffins during my lunch break because rally's was super busy and the muffins were hard as rocks. Expired sep 27, 2020. Sorry for not checking the expiration date before your brick muffins, I tend to assume the employees are supposed to follow the first in first out rule and actually make sure their store is stocked properly. Not here I guess.

I love this location they are very friendly people the manager Artrell is very handworking and he makes sure everyone is safe. And he has a cheerful attitude and great personality when it comes to working with the public. They store is neat and resourceful to those that live in rhis area. Thank you

Family Dollar is that store you need to go to not necessarily a want to store. The prices are for the average American and that I appreciate. This location was pretty large and pretty busy.

I love this Family Dollar. The staff is kind and helpful, plus it's location is awesome. It has a great selection and the prices are okay but they often run out stuff quickly because of the location.

This place is a joke and so are most of the employees and all the management at this location. Their store is nasty and workers are lazy,rude and unhelpful in any way, not to mention almost all of them seem to hate their jobs and the customers that they are supposed to be helping. Its beyond me how this place is still open.....

It was crowded.And most people there wasn't wearing a mask.Even thou there's a sign on the door saying it'd required.Also the security guard just got killed over a mask and Family Dollar on 5th Ave disrespects the customers and the security guard for not enforcing it.Is Family Dollar that hard up that say not enforcing the Governor's rules.

The store was unorganized and the staff was far from friendly and didn't do their job very well. One cashier gave me incorrect change and she reacted in a rude and insultive manner when I tried to show her the mistake.
