I like the staff simply because I have never had an issue here with the ladies, they're always kind and helpful when I have a question (even if they're a little busy or the time I paid with 21 dollars in change 🤦🏼‍♀️ for a phone that was on sale) Their patience is appreciated. I usually find what I need. The store is kept clean, at least the times I've been there. Overall I enjoy my trips to the family dollar. I have yet to have a bad experience at this location. I'd like to just publicly say thank you to the wonderful staff!

There really nice they have food if you need it they have clothes if u need it they have everything that you can probably get at any other store for less price then what you can get at others the cashers are nice love family dollers.💙

The staff is cool, nice and helpful and the store is fine. The only bad thing is that every time I go there (which is often), they are out of many food/drink items, especially drinks. There's usually a lot of empty space on the shelves and in the fridge.

So I had a good experience with the cashier. The first I would make is to not have your clearance items by the front then have "Walmart greeter" employees make you feel awkward by shopping. and looking at the items you pick up commenting on them. You might as well go digital and pay to order pick up only. If it's gotten this bad. Even dollar general has more robberies on the east side. Here's what I see in the future making Saginaw St look worse in view is only the tendency to Drive away your middle-class client me. over com starting it's watching you is a little over the too! You might as well have me walk through those metal detectors like at court. Are we on trial to untrust your consumers only derive them from using your establishment. Im am sorry And why are people not allowed in your store that look different like my transgender friends. My friends work to and are tax-paying citizens. Stop acting like Prada and giving avon products Instead. It's just principle. Now I promise I will go one more time and if I bring in a friend. You better hope you don't treat them in the ways I've heard. Unless there is a report of violent harassment or a PP order you can't sell to me or anyone because of the way they look or who they are standing next to. So managers I expect you to teach your employees a little thing We call equity. Now in pretty sure, you don't know your rights or others. The history lesson starts now.

I stopped at this Family Dollar location for the first time today and will not be returning. I was in an in service emergency vehicle at the time. The clerk (unfortunately I did not get her name) was extremely rude to my partner and I throwing a tantrum because we were parked in the fire lane. I explained that we were an in service emergency vehicle and legally allowed to park there as we could recieved an emergency call at any moment and need quick access to our truck. Clerk then became even more rude telling me that I wouldn't come to save her life if she was being robbed. If I took this tone with my customers I would be fired. I under that Family Dollar is not an generally an employer of the best and brightest but they've really lowered the bar with this lady.

Service is pretty good even with one cashier. They have the counter barrier for the social distance guidelines. Store has stayed stocked EXC hand sanitizer and Lysol.

Friendly greeting..always helpful staff. Prices are low and you can find nearly everything you might need. No freash produce but bacon, eggs and milk..to tooth paste and garden supplies. My go to store..
