The store and parking lot was very clean. All the employees wore mask to prevent the coronavirus and safety of their customers. They had a variety of seasonal items on the shelves already. And They also had a nice selection of household items as well.Sometimes I just stop in to waste a little time and to see what's new. I have several photos to share. Spent two weeks contacting multiple Big Lots, managers and Customer care just trying to get a couch swapped out because of poor mechanics that broke with little use. The furniture manager here was right off the get rude and of no help, was giving conflicting information that disregarded the policy. Thankfully the store manager Lara was very helpful and understanding. After two weeks we now have our couch. Exhausting for just a couch.

Went in tonight to quickly grab stocking stuffers and had great customer service while checking out. I felt the need to share because unfortunately good customer service seems hard to come by lately! So kudos to the young man working!

We went to the store in Flint on Sunday and found a recliner we liked. We were told the truck would be in Tuesday and to call to have it put on hold. I called and had the chair put on hold and when we went to purchase it the associate told us it was in stock and he would get it, meanwhile, he called Jim (manager) for assistance with a customer and Jim acted as though he couldn’t be bothered, he was rude and rushing. When the associate told him we were getting a chair he said “nope I need one for an order and the other one goes with a couch” I told him we had one on hold and he said he didn’t know what to tell us while he was walking away. We just purchased 2 couches there last week! As a manager one would think that he would offer assistance as to when another truck would be coming in or try to rectify the situation. Poor management and we will spend our money elsewhere! Shame on you Jim you acted like a real jerk!

I love places like this. Seeing the new seasonal products, the nostalgia of visiting with my ma and pa at least once monthly. Big Lots makes my heart smile. :)

The Miller road location is much cleaner than it used to be. The associates were a great help and answered any questions I had. Some items here are competitively priced to be lower than other stores. If not, they also price match. This is a good place to look for inexpensive, yet sturdy furniture.

Big Lots is now severely overpriced. I think they want to be the next Pier 1 Imports, but baby, listen - Pier 1 is not in business anymore. It's not because they didn't have nice things; it's because this is not the place for overpriced things. People don't want a $25 throw pillow when they can get one at Wal-Mart for $10 and grab a set of interchangeable covers on Amazon for another $10. And it's not like they are marking up to put things on a generous clearance price. No - they are just marking up. And up. And up. Do yourself a favor and shop around because a better deal is easily found over the prices at Big Lots. I gave five stars for customer service. My mom had a shopping cart full and I had one job - hold onto her card. Where was it? At home in my cargo pants. The staff simply suspended the order and placed it behind the register. I was able to go home, grab the card, let the dogs out to pee, circle back, and pay with no problem. That is something I appreciate. (I also appreciate the gaming keyboard that lights up, but that's another story.)

They need to make sure that all products are not a year old. Please check the dates on all of their food items! The shelves are messy, and a lot of items have no pricing. If they fix these flaws, then I would definitely give this store tstars!

Clean store nice staff but big lots is a CLEARANCE STORE where everything is supposed to be reasonable priced on the lower end like 200-500 MAX but 1,200- 1,500 plus for a couch is RIDICULOUS and 900 dollar's for a mattress is ABSOLUTELY SICKENING.... STOP BEING ALL ABOUT CORPORATE AND FILLING UP THE CEO'S POCKETS AND WORRY MORE ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMER'S.... I could understand those prices on the west coast but not in broke poor ghetto flint NO ONE HAS MONEY LIKE THAT and if they did they're to cheap to buy it lol.

Went to Big Lots about twice today. Was looking for a beige sectional. I found one that I really liked thank you to Tasha. The most helpful, kindest, funniest employee I’ve been around in a while. We joked around while she was able to get my paperwork done in no time. Enjoyable trips to the store like that is what I like the most. Keep up the good work!

I don't go into Big lots that often but when I do that's the store I go into and it amazes me every time how on the ball they are in that store.They've got their fall decorations out. I'm not sure if they're done with placing them on the shelves yet 🎃🍂But I do have to say this every time I'm there. Whoever is working at the cash register. It's always been funny and friendly.

Like stopping in when I'm in town. Store seems much more organized, and cleaner than the past. Have a nice variety of goods to choose from. And was impressed with all of the clerks upbeat, friendly, polite attitudes. Not a drop of negativity did I see. You've got a great group of people working there, hopefully they are appreciated by management. And here the good words people submit😊

They might be out of what you came for. But I bet you'll leave with five other things you were surprised they had. Happens to me anyhow. I have been fortunate to always get what I come for. I have gotten the last item on the shelf. That's why I say they might be out. I look online b4 I go. Might say one in stock. Well, I got lucky and seemed to always get that one. Great service.
