If you buy a item that's inside a box check and make sure it's on the box. I bought Stihl GTA26 this morning for my dad for his birthday just drive an hr and give him a carrying case with no saw inside , drove hr back to Fife lake to get saw. Thank God they didn't give a hassle but could have offered a hat or something for the troubles as he did State something like this would have wrecked his day.

They are over priced on everything. They over charge and miss charge poeple all the time. It's no longer a small town hardware. Once again they wasted my time should just drive to kalkaska!!!! Seam like they don't have it or they're out of it.

My son and I stopped in for a tail light for our camper. The store gave me a feeling of the old hardware store I frequented as a kid with my Grandpa which was very welcoming. They had what I needed at an excellent price. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone in the area!

I love the local feel of this amazing hardware store. It has a nostalgia about it that brings me back to my childhood with all the things I need today as an adult! The people are always friendly and helpful. Everyone has.a bad day now and then, but you would never know it when you shop or call there. Good old fashioned customer service you can count on. They're taking advantage of the inflation narrative. I understand you pay extra for convenience in a small town but they're charging double to triple what they should be. Miss the old owner.

Very accommodating. Matched True Value online price, placed order over the phone, ready in 4 days. Tina was super nice. Another gentleman offered to load for me. Nice local hardware store. Would shop there more if I lived closer.

I love this place. So many varieties of items, from tools, to plumbing, to car, ect. They have a great history as well. Have good deals and love the people who work there.They also have a little gift like part of the hardware in the back.They also can make new keys/replicas.

The store has really upped it's game...greater selection...expanded lower level and soon the 2nd level will be full of stuff! Just need to add some common lumber items and I'll never go anywhere else. Friendy and knowledgeable staff too!!!Best place in town to visit...you will find what you need to fix and improve your house and property...they got it all!😊

Local hardware store, locally owned. Friendly and helpful staff. Fife Lake Hardware might be small but they have the stuff you need to fix the stuff around your house. No lumber or appliances. They sell paint, tools, nuts n bolts, car parts, stuff for the yard n garden. I go here frequently, love it
