Fife Lake Lodging was the best! We were able to find this unit on Airbnb and everything about it was well beyond our expectations. This lake is located in a small town, and was only 30 minutes from traverse city.We did encounter a small fuse box issue late at night, but the staff was still able to get there in a timely fashion and helped us out! I would highly recommend this place to anyone and we definitely plan on staying here again in the future!

The perfect location, right on the lake and within walking distance of everything in Fife Lake. The beds were almost as comfy as our outrageously expensive one at home… way better than any hotel bed. Most of our room was extremely modern and upscale. The kitchen was the one exception. A little older and very tiny, but perfectly functional. In an odd sort of way, the kitchen felt just like the kitchen at our family cottage and actually added to overall experience of being on the lake up north. Communication with the management company was top notch. Couldn’t have asked for a better get away location to stay for a few days while visiting family.

We stayed in an end unit and really liked it. Updated, nicely decorated and plenty of space for the 2 of us. Great view of the lake. Our only complaint was the water pressure. The water would come and go while showering (like no water coming out, then come back on after a 10-15 second pause).Would stay again!

We stayed in 1B and overall we were happy with our stay for the price we paid. Cute, woodsy interior. Large rooms.Adding a dishwasher would be a plus; there’s plenty of room for one.Water pressure in the shower was really low, causing the shower to turn off about 2 times per shower. It always came back on but you had to wait a minute or two.The lodge is also close to the main road in Fife Lake so you hear quite a bit of road noise in the bedrooms.Appreciated the basket of games to play.One minute walk to the restaurants in fife lake.Walkability: Close to restaurantsClose to a small public beach

I had my work crew in this area on a job site and there are no hotels around. This was the best Airbnb they stayed at in a while. Everything was very clean and up to standards and they also don’t ask you for very much besides clean up after yourself. The only thing I didn’t like with this one is you had to send a picture of your drivers license before you can get any information after you booked your Room already it would be better if you show your ID upon arrival, because you never know who’s going to have your information and do what with it, because sending your drivers license to a total stranger, you never even spoke to on the phone was strange to me, because we’ve never had to do that before other than that the stay was perfect

We had an okay experience. When we arrived we found a drooly dog toy on the floor and dog hair all over the bed. (Which I’m guessing means they did not clean the apartment even though they charged a $75 “cleaning fee”)Then, when we were about to cook dinner, we realized the stove and microwave were not working. We contacted management and they said they had to put in a maintenance order, which they fixed the night before we left.I had to contact them several asking for updates on fixing it.The apartment is nice and spacious. Location we didn’t see much but seems like a nice little town.

My wife and I stayed at this location for our honeymoon. It was so comfortable for us. We enjoyed being on fife lake and being within an hour drive of Traverse city and lake Michigan. We enjoyed making meals in the large kitchen with a view. Our host was easy to contact and quick to respond to any questions we had. We would highly recommend staying in this hotel.Rooms: The only reason we did not give five stars on the room is that the main bedroom did not have a trash can in it, and the two mattresses of the king size bed were slightly uneven in height.

Loved the room and great price for what you got. The only downfall of our room was we could hear every noise the people above us made. Just them walking sounded like a herd of elephants. But other thank that i would definitely stay there again! It’s an easy check in and i love the whole process.Food & drinks: Ate at the Fife Lake Inn and it was soo delicious!

We have been coming up here for years as my grandparents then my father retired up here. Everything was fine as usual. Changes to the rental we’re easy enough to follow. Just FYI the sink rums very slow and the toilet didn’t always flush. We’ve never had those problems in the past at the Inn.Food & drinks: Restaurants, Fife, Lake Inn and the Loons Nest are fabulous! We have enjoyedRestaurants, Fife, Lake in, and the Loons Nest are fabulous them for years.

Overall, I was very happy with the room. It was clean, and Fife Lake was right outside our back door, so we had a great view. I really enjoyed drinking coffee in the chair swing and looking out on the lake in the morning. The key code door locks made check-in and check-out very convenient. My only complaint is the light bulbs in the room. They were cold white daylight bulbs, best suited for street lamps or a factory. There was one small lamp with a proper bulb, but the overhead lighting was not good. At night we had to choose between darkness or cold industrial lighting. It made the room, not as cozy as it could have been. Installing soft white lightbulbs would be an easy fix for the logde to do. Also, it’s about a 35/40 minute drive to Traverse City.

We were very satisfied. Nothing fancy but very clean. The bed was comfy. There were a couple of concerns: we expected some kitchenware and there is none, so we bought some paper plates and utensils. The one thing that should get attention was the upstairs door to the deck cannot be locked or even latched. That’s a problem for security reasons as well as it was not possible to keep the door from blowing open. The door knob appears to be broken.

We were quite disappointed in the room we were given. We were told our room had a kitchen with stove and everything so we brought groceries to cook our meals for the weekend. However, When we checked in it was to our disappointment our room did Not have a kitchen at all or a tub (only shower). Not too easy to bath our grandbaby in a shower. Beds are hard as a rock! Room was clean just not what we needed with having our grandbaby with us. Probably won't stay here again.

A quick overnight stay for my class reunion. The view is lovely, however since this was our first time using a BNB no one said write the key code when you see it, which meant we were locked out of our room needing meds in our room for about 20 minutes before we could figure things out.The owners did message us back about 45 minutes later with the code but by that time we weren't about to go out until we got up and left.Was happy we brought our own toels as there were mainly face clothes and hand towels to use. Nor could we use the TV as even with changing batteries it did not work. Internet however was great so we just put Sirius XM on and went to sleep.It was a learning experience for a middle aged couple and we will benefit from it. Room was clean and had amenities like a toaster and steamer to use

Everything about this place was amazing. From the phenomenal staff at the the party store to the views, breathtaking. Also, probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on. If I wasn’t moving up here already, this would be my go to for vacations

I can't say enough nice things about this place. I called them on a Monday to see if they had any rooms left for that weekend. The owner called me back and they were able to accommodate my husband and I along with our 2 little dogs. We have a hard time finding places to stay that are animal friendly but they had no problems with my little guys! We've been to the area many times and visit the party store all summer long but have never stayed there. We were pleasantly surprised! Our room was very clean and had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. We stayed in room 3 which had a loft upstairs with a balcony. Our bed was SO comfortable! It convinced me that I need a new mattress! 😅 the balcony had a table and chairs with a great hanging hammock/chair. The view was BEAUTIFUL! lawn chairs, all kinds of games available, a private beach, fire pit, BBQ grills... it really was great. We walked across the street for ice cream and were able to get snacks and drinks at the store attached to the motel. It was a great weekend getaway and we can't wait to return. Thank you to Kathy for getting us in on short notice and for letting us check in a little early. Everyone we met that worked there was very friendly and all told me how much they liked my dogs. I felt welcome and didn't feel like I had to keep them hidden away. They were getting things ready for the summer so it's going to get even better! What a hidden gem!

Rooms are spacious and clean. I really wanted to give 5 stars but the owners were very unprofessional and rude. Not only was my account charged more than what was quoted online when I initially made the reservation but I was not able to access the room when it was time for check-in. I had to hunt down the owner because they decided to stop answering their phones and once I was able to she was extremely condescending. I wouldn’t waste your hard earned money here. This will be my last time staying.

We came to visit TC for a mini weekend getaway, and came across Fife Lake Lodging and party store. What a gem!! I highly recommend staying here, it’s a definite repeat for us in the near future! It’s about 30 mins outside of Traverse City, which isn’t bad at all. Take in the surrounding scenery as you head into the city.The staff is more than accommodating to any and all request if within their capabilities. There’s more than enough activities for the guest, room styles, themes in each room, and amenities for anyone to enjoy.Don’t believe I can say enough about the staff here. Extremely welcoming and helpful with any questions you may have or anything needed for your room.Then there’s the view of the lake with your stay. Such a peaceful and quiet town. Thank you all for making such a great impact on our trip. See you all in the near future.

Some more counter space around the bathroom sink would be nice and some hooks on wall or back of the door for robe or bath/shower cover up.Rooms: They are comfortable and accommodating.Nearby activities: It’s a nice location and not too far from activities.Safety: Didn’t have any problems with safety issuesWalkability: Restaurants within walking distance.Food & drinks: Party store located next door.Noteworthy details: Location on the water provides beautiful sunrises and benches to sit along the water’s edge.

We were visiting TC from out of town (Chicago & Detroit). About a 30 min drive from TC & so worth the stay here. I truly can’t say enough kind things about this lodging, but I’m glad we booked and stayed here. It’s clean, all the rooms have a theme, all of the staff are just so friendly, the amenities are endless. Not to mention the convenience of the attached party store! The lakeside is so peaceful to stay at. Truly a gem of a place, thanks so much for your kindness all!!

What a wonderful and gorgeous lake side experience. Clean and cozy rooms. Extra friendly staff. Renovations in process because the owner clearly cares about up dating and making it even nicer. Lots of amenities and they even had a dog friendly room so our old good boy didn't have to stay home Alone. Ohh and you can rent a pontoon right there!

The staff at Fife Lake Lodging were exemplary. We were in Fife Lake for a family wedding and had several rooms booked. The hotel is dog friendly ( in fact the housekeeper gave our dog a treat each day!) The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I could make my entire family a meal each evening from the kitchen I had in my family suite. The bed was comparable to a Westin dream bed! Quiet and lovely lakefront hotel 30 miles from TVC. THanks Kathy! You run a great business!

Stayed back in 2017 with friends and came back again. Had a Wonderful time! Love the upgrades made to the beach area! Total fenced in for kids and piece of mind! Rooms were very clean. Just would recommend new mattress. Pretty flat and hard. Otherwise we had a wonderful time and the girls that work the party store are always very helpful and friendly
