Ordered a bunch of coral from here and had it shipped to me. Unfortunately, the package was delayed and was DOA. However, they sent out a replacement the next week and all the corals arrived in good shape and were pretty close to the WYSIWYG pieces I ordered. They were quick to respond to emails and instantly offered replacements. Appreciate the costumer service and the good quality coral!

The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. My husband is thrilled to have found this place at the beginning of a new tank. He has bought coral rocks and assembly material here. The fish look healthy, and the coral are so vibrant. They really put the icing on the cake with the beautiful design inside, and it is the *cleanest* salt water store I've ever encountered. It is well worth a drive to get there.

100% Absolutely worth a visit! This massive space is beautifully designed, organized and fun to go through from beginning to end. Zack and crew are making their own live-phytoplankton! It's wonderful to have a local source. I also loved getting a tour of the facilities and to learn about the history of the company. It sets me at ease knowing the products I buy from the Detroit Reef Club have been properly quarrantined, are healthy and vibrant corals, and they've got stuff I've never seen before. corals I've been searching many months to find!! Colors you'd think are impossible. I believe Zack is a coral whisperer based on what I got to see! Everything about Detroit Reef Club is exciting and refreshing to experience. I'm really looking forward to taking one of the nifty workshops!! You won't regret taking the time to visit the Detroit Reef Club, I sure didn't!

This place is AMAZING. We came for one fish and left with 3 and they are all absolutely perfect. Steve was fantastic. He was thorough and personable and showed us all around. The selection of coral, fish, food and accessories was so good too. We can't wait to go back. Thank you for such an awesome place to fill our tank.

First visit in was today and I was definitely blown away. It’s new, so things are still up and coming, but there is still SO much to look at. So many corals to look at, along with fish, and still more to come. The employees were all friendly and the owner is definitely one of a kind. He talks with so much passion, knowledge and kindness that even if you’re not into the hobby he could still get your interest, just with how he goes about conversation. He walked us around the place, not just the sales floor, talked about how he goes about importing and how much time and effort they dedicate to all of their products. The prices are the best I’ve seen out of any place I’ve seen, in store and online. I’m really, really looking forward to all the things they’re going to do and also look forward to visiting again.

Zach and his team run an unbelievable state of the art shop, newest technology in the hobby and best prices on designer/ never seen corals, inverts, and other marine life. Everything is healthy as can be PLUS acclimated to tank life and lights. A must see place for all aquarium hobbyists of any skill level. Staff always is answering questions and giving their knowledge to anyone who walks in!!!

I traveled from lansing to check the place out. I was greeted at the door with a solid hand shake and a warm smile, which was super welcoming. What followed that was a plethora of knowledge and advice on the proper care and the best location in my tank for my new coral. I can't say one negative thing about DRC. Keep up the outstanding work, i will 100% be back soon
