Not normally one to complain at all - but am super heartbroken by this experience. Banks is my first real puppy I’ve had and I have been so excited for his hair to grow out and become a giant floof (he’s 5mo old). I meticulously brush him twice a day to ensure he’s always soft and mat-free. When I took him today for his grooming appt I specified I did NOT want him cut down, but agreed to a mini trim (feet, fanny, face). I received a call approximately 2 hours after the start of my appt saying they had a “mix-up” and shaved down the wrong dog (i.e. Banks). I understand accidents happen and his hair will grow back (in time), but it doesn’t negate the fact that it was exactly the opposite of what I wanted and I am so so sad. The cut he received isn’t bad in itself, just the opposite of what I asked for. Thankfully, the technician was incredibly kind and paid in full for his groom and was apologetic. Again, not one to complain but decided to share my experience after reading a few reviews with similar occurrences. Pictures for reference. :(

All Paw Spa certainly earns a well-deserved 5-star rating from us. As dedicated customers for the past two or three years, we've entrusted our beloved pup, Spunk, to their care. The team consistently exceeds expectations, ensuring Spunk receives exceptional grooming and looks her absolute best every time. Their attention to detail is truly commendable, and we especially appreciate the thoughtful gesture of including a bandana with each visit. 5 stars all around for All Paw Spa. We have been coming here for a year or two now with our pup Billie. The staff always does a great job in ensuring Billie is well taken care of and looks her best after stepping out of the salon. We have trusted All Paw with our pup and they even made her freshly groomed before our wedding which was not a small task since her hair had grown quite a bit and curls up when not blown out. I also love their personalized touch of including a bandana after each visit. I have recommended All Paw to a few of my recent dog owner friends.

I have had nothing but great experiences with All Paw Spa. I was so excited when they opened near my home. At the time, I had two dogs - a senior, larger fella, and a younger, poorly behaved Shar-Pei.The groomers have always done an exceptional job - when Enzo was alive, they were gentle and patient with him. Since he passed in 2021, we've continued to take our Share-Pei, Moon to All Paw Spa.Moon has a bit of a personality, but the groomers and owner have never made me feel bad about it. They're patient, and do such a great job with my stubborn lady. They know that she doesn't do well in crates, so they will often try to get us in and out early.The past couple of visits, she's been groomed by Dom, who has been so lovely.We feel grateful to have All Paw Spa in our community and appreciate the good work they do.The only feedback I'd offer is that it would be nice if the booking site went straight to the next available date as they're often booked months out. It would also be nice to have the intake information stored so that it doesn't need to be completed each time, but that's probably just because my dog is like an uncaged hyena in my car...

The staff were annoyed that I walked into the lobby and pointed at the half torn down covid rules on the front door, I respected it and apologized, however that's bogus. Its an excuse to have as minimal customer interaction as possible.They also called me a day before his appointment and asked if i could drop him off at 8am instead of 12pm because its easier to have all the dogs come in at once (or something?). I had to rearrange my meetings to accommodate this, but the reviews had me believing it would be worth it so i went with it. Feels misleading if 12pm isn't an option; why make it one when booking online?With the tip i spent $97, just for me to bring my dog back to another groomer 16 days later. They never took enough hair off, and maybe that could of been avoided but when I tried walking back in a second time to speak with the groomer they again, kicked me out like i was dummy for walking past that half posted covid rule sign.... in 2024 lol

I have gone to this groomer establishment before and I have had a good experience the first time I went.So I go to book another appointment.I spoke with Samatha, she informed me today 3/12/2024 that the groomer was no longer available and she would need to reschedule me. I was completely understanding and I tried work with the recent unexpected cancellation BUT they did mot try to make an accomedation for me.I originally planned to have my dog groomed Friday, March 22, 2024. I had plans that weekend for my dog and I and she also needs a grooming badly, due to the mud from the rain and regular routine care.I was informed that I would need reschedule for April…I then ask “so you would inconvenience me, and move my appointment 2 weeks out?, that’s not me accomedating what’s so ever”Samatha then informed me that it’s “out of her hands”. In addition to it being “out of her hands”, Samatha informed me when a customer books an appointment online it’s a “REQUEST” it is NOT an actual booking online.So as a customer, if you do book here online, it is not an actual booking and it’s subject to cancellation at any time. I would like to note that when you book, I mean “request a booking”, you must add your debit card for payment for your request.Although it does not specify you are REQUESTING and not actually booking an appointment .I was extremely disappointed and dissatisfied I was actually looking forwards to this because as I stated previously the groomers did a good job. The lack of accommodation due thier own business fluctuations was surprising to me, especially how I expressed I actually needed the appointment. Needless to say, there is a blatant lack of care for customer inconvenience so when booking keep that in mind.

Took my 8 year old Maltese today. Her hair had grown and was matted. They did a good job in about 2 hours. This was my first time here, will go again. Thanks All Paw Spa.

I’ve been bringing my Pomeranian Antonio and Chihuahua Taco here since she opened 2 years ago. Never had any issues and the pups always come home beautiful and happy. I would absolutely recommend this Spa to anyone who spoils their babies.

I took my puppy there for his first grooming. They gave him a bath, clipped his claws, gave him a paw pad treatment...the works...in about 90 minutes. He was adorable and happy when he was done. The staff was very nice and professional. He loved his bandanna and treats when he was done. I'll be taking him back very soon.

So happy with the service! My girl typically has trouble at the groomers but they said she did great and that she’s really sweet, so I’m thinking it was the groomers she wasn’t comfortable with previously. The cut is exactly what I wanted (she’s tired so she looks sad), she’s soft and her nails were cut perfectly (vs times in the past they couldn’t get all of her nails or they just weren’t cut short enough). Super happy with this service and I’ll definitely be returning. Emily, you’re awesome!P.s. I’m obsessed with this bandana 😍

All Paw Spa is INCREDIBLE! I have two six-year-old pups who get nervous when it comes to nail trims and bath time. From the start, everyone made me and my pups feel so welcome and comfortable. The team is accommodating, friendly and incredibly kind. They were able to get my babies squeaky clean, trimmed up and smelling AMAZING! The team also works fast and we all appreciated it. I brought my wrinkly French Bulldog Nova here because after I gave her a bath at home, I still noticed a faint smell that I couldn't get out of her wrinkles/folds/ears no matter how hard I tried! It was driving me up the wall; I called All Paw Spa and the owner was able to get me in right away around her another appointments and made sure Nova not only got clean but enjoyed herself. She even sat with her the whole time she was drying since she was a little anxious, which is incredibly sweet! Will definitely be back here again. Also her nails look amazing and her ears are spotless!

Today was my first time at All Paw Spa and I won’t be going anywhere else! Emily did an amazing job on my Bichon Maltese dog. You could tell she truly cared about him and treated him well. He doesn’t love the groomer and she helped him chill out right away. Also, she did everything I asked for to perfection. The atmosphere is nice and clean and I couldn’t have been happier.

Did an exceptional job with my pups 1st full grooming session. I asked for a specific cut and they delivered well. Not to mention the shampoo used had a very pleasant smell. Only thing I noticed is there were quite a bit of long hairs missed on his tail, but nothing I couldn't take some shears to. Great job and decent prices.

All Paw Spa is THE dog groomer to go to in the Metro Detroit area! Emily and her team are friendly, professional and best of all do an AMAZING job grooming our golden doodle, Finley. Since moving to Livonia, we miss this place and can only hope they open a location out here! Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality grooming services for their pup!

We have brought our pomeranian here a few times now and have been very happy with our experience every time! The staff is friendly and quick to come out and take care of customers. I've had past experiences at other groomers where I wasn't happy with the results, but they do a great job getting rid of any tangles and mats and he always comes back looking so handsome. I especially love the added touch of giving him a bandana every time. If you're looking for a great grooming team with reasonable prices, I can't recommend All Paw Spa enough!

I could not be more pleased with All Paw Spa! They treated my doggo Charlie like the princess that she is! The spa itself is absolutely beautiful, you feel like you're in a spa for people. Emily is absolutely amazing and treated Charlie like one of her own fur babies! Charlie is special needs, as she has seizures and 2 disabled (hind) legs and Emily took her time to make sure Charlie was comfortable and beautifully trimmed...she even took her outside for potty breaks! I have no idea what she used on Charlie's fur to make her soooooo soft, but, dear lord I can NOT stop petting her, she feels like a huge teddy bear! I am so happy this fabulous business is so close to my home in Ferndale, although, after visiting for the first time I would gladly drive quite a distance for the same services. We will be back, now that we have experienced this type of love and (very affordable) luxury I can not imagine going anywhere else!!

We will be coming back! Our lab retriever loved her visit. We didn’t have to wait at all once we got there. The staff is super nice, they even gave us an extra bandana for our dog that didn’t get any service . I 100% recommend and cant wait for our next visit ☺️

Started going here during COVID after our other groomer retired. We gave them the instructions from our older groomer and they did a wonderful job. Zero complaints about the grooming. Ever.At that time (I believe it was 2021) it still made sense for the pickup-drop off to be curbside. It was always kind of a pain but I am by no means a COVID denier and was respectful of their policy. It’s a small lot with various other businesses and sometimes you cannot even get a spot to sit and wait in your car for an inordinate amount of time for them to come get your pet. It was nearly always a fiasco that took 20 minutes on pickup and drop off. They seem to have no clue who pulled up when because they’re inside and you’re kept waiting or people are taken out of order and it just gets so frustrating eventually. After 2.5 years of this I’ve just decided to move on and find a groomer where I don’t find myself annoyed before 10 am every Saturday I’ve got to take my dog. (Every 6 weeks). IMO if they cannot manage this better - they need to let you bring your pet inside at this point since they are still using the COVID system in 2024.After a pet passed away and I cancelled his appointments (keeping the ones I had booked for my other pet) the system was sending one time in the confirmation text and the calendar reminder they sent me had another. I’m sorry but I’m not cross checking confirmation texts and calendar events for a pet visit. I followed the calendar (which was an hour later) and was charged $40 for a “no show” and for them to refuse to groom my dog when I was literally on my way. I’d been a client for nearly 2 years at that point and had never missed an appointment or even been late, so the penalty seemed excessive. I thought maybe I’d made an error and just acceptable it - but when it happened again (and they tried to charge me $40 again to not groom my dog) I came and showed them the reminder I got from their system and to their credit - they didn’t charge me and they did groom her - but it was just such a source of stress and aggravation to deal with needlessly. This also didn’t sit well with me considering there were multiple times they overbooked for Saturdays and they would call and ask if I could come another day - and I always accommodated - yet their system messes up and I’m charged a fee and given zero grace.Overall - yes they are good at grooming dogs but pack your patience for the pickup and drop off or you’re bound to be very frustrated. The price also increased 50% since 2021 from $60 to $90 for a 10 lb dog - I’m not cheap but that seems a little excessive to me. I also was not advised of this price increase until after the service was rendered on 1.6.2024.

I take my two dogs here for walk-in nail trims.The interior is adorable, and pricing is incredibly fair. They are always quick which my babies appreciate (they don’t love the activity). Thank you for taking great care of our two brave boys!
