Dr. Sandy and her whole staff are wonderful! I have been taking my pets to Dr. Sandy over 25 yrs. They have always been kind, compassionate and professional. They are so good to my pets and I can't thank you enough. One of my kitties gets an injection once a month and they make sure to warm it to room temperature so it's more comfortable for him. Had a good experience on the first consult for neuter surgery. Everyone was very nice. Day of surgery a different estimate was presented. Fortunately I caught that and mentioned to both the tech and Dr Sandy. After surgery my dog developed a very red irritation around the scrotal area. He did lick some but I didn’t feel it was excessive. So I got an e-collar and had it continuously on him. A week later he is still very u comfortable. Over the weekend I reached out to the vet and was offered meds or try OTC hydrocortisone. Monday he was now whining so I took him to the vet. When Dr Sandy came in the room I said I would hold my dog. She became very rude insisting that it was illegal to have the owners hold their dogs and said if you don’t let us hold then we are done here. To which we got into. heated argument. And I said just fn fix my dog!! She was in my face and continued saying that I won’t let them help my dog etc. She also insisted that she was willing to come in after hours on Sat. However, unfortunately that was not relayed to me. After things calmed down she did apologize for the miscommunication from Sat. She did treat my dog and I left. I will say I have never in my life had a confrontation like that with a Vet. I am a previous Vet tech of 10 years. I came to Dr Sandy because of all the great reviews. But I will say if you are a strong personality. Perhaps this is not the right person for you. Good luck. Ps. Her other vet coworker seems nice at my consult.

Tasha and Dr. Weeden are so, so wonderful. I have had great visits in the past, but was crippled with worry about my senior cat. They answered every question and were so patient, empathetic and understanding with my nerves and worries. I felt like they were very thorough and so kind and gentle with my cat and advising any additional tests we may need. I have numerous feedback in regard to Animal Health Clinic of Fenton! The staff is fantastic and make the Dr visit relaxing & efficient. Dr. Sandy is an outstanding Vet and is absolutely the BEST! She has recently helped us deal with two very serious Dog issues. One was diagnosing a serious eye tumor that she caught very early, resulting in a quick surgery with very positive outlook- resulting in no loss in vision. The second issue was our dog ate something that caused a blockage in her stomach. This was a serious issue and Dr. Sandy got us to an emergency animal hospital and helped get an endoscopy vs surgery which is what the hospital was wanting us to do. Endoscopy was successful and no surgery was needed. Dr. Sandy call multiple times to check on our dog and make sure we were being taken care of. Thank You Animal Health Clinic and Dr Sandy!

There is literally not a better veterinarian in the greater Genesee County area. Dr. Sandy is knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, and hilarious! Her staff is top notch and always go above and beyond (as long as you are kind to them, boy do they take a lot of grief!) Dr. Sandy always takes great care of our dogs! They're monsters and she's patient and playful with them. She fits them in even if it's not normal hours. She actually cares and I always learn something new. Other places I'm talked at, and charged for unexplained things. Never the case here, and if I don't understand something she always makes sure I do before we leave. We'll be going here for as long as we have pets!

Dr. Sandy and her whole staff are the absolute best! From the moment you walk in the door you're greeted with a smile and feel comfortable. Our dog has been having some issues and Dr. Sandy has done EVERYTHING she possibly can for us to get answers and make sure he is feeling good. The staff is just as helpful and wonderful! Our dog is our whole world and to know that he is getting the best care is so important to us. He gets excited as soon as we pull in the parking lot and can't wait to get inside to see everyone. Not only do they all take amazing care of our dog, but they are also wonderful to us. Watching your pet be sick is so hard, and the comfort, compassion, and support that Dr. Sandy and her staff gives to us means the world. Just simply the best all the way around!!

Don't make a deposit if you ever have to cancel an appointment. They neglect to mention that it's non-refundable when an appointment is made. Obviously they are more concerned with taking your money than taking care of animals.

I have been taking Yeti to doctor Sandy since he was born 4 1/2 years ago. The staff is very friendly and believe it or not when we get out of the truck Yeti runs in there like he can’t wait to see everybody. Recently we had a scare somehow and auto immune deficiency was triggered in his body so for the last three months it has been a long road to recovery but I can honestly say that when I see the love and care that Dr. Sandy and the staff Give my little buddy. It makes it a little easier seeing the rough patch that he is going through. I have heard stories from friends about not being able to get into their veterinarian for weeks or months at a time. I can honestly say if I’ve ever needed to get in they always make room for us.

Dr Sandy and her crew are some of the best people taking care of my precious pup.I took him in this week for wound healing and they used their therapeutic laser on him and within a couple days he was mostly better and one more treatment and he is back to normal. I have know about therapeutic laser therapy but watching the results in front of my eyes was really impressive. The treatment is comfortable and simple for my dog and now he is well! I have been going to this vet with my cat since she was a baby. They usually are able to fit me in pretty quickly & always treat my cat with the most outstanding professionalism. They truly care about your pet and understand how important they are to you. I recently moved to a new area & my cat has had some issues adjusting. I was worried she might have an emergency so I wasn’t able to come here. I took her to an emergency vet & they treated my cat so poorly that I regretted not coming to the animal health clinic. It has been a few days since I took her & animal health clinic called to check on my cat because she went to emergency. I thought it was extremely compassionate, especially since the last place I visited couldn’t have cared less about my cat. It’s the extra steps they take at the animal health clinic that are so important. They’ve also been my vet for a couple childhood pets & they were so always so great to them, even through their final days. Thank you for your wonderful staff and practice. Next time, it will be worth the drive to take my cat here, knowing she is in good hands.
