Enjoyed the Grand Opening activities very much! In addition to the lovely new store and fantastic selection, they had coupons (good 'til June!) and giveaways. The dog wash area looks like a spa, it's gorgeous! I arrived at 10 and there was a good crowd, which remained steady throughout the event, even though it was raining, ahem, cats and dogs most of the day 😆 The team members were available to assist & answer questions, and everyone was polite and helpful.

Pet Valu is great for its dog wash, grooming, and events. It's a good stop for higher quality dog and cat foods and equipment. Service is also very good. I recommend it for dog or cat owners.That given, it's not great for a pet owner who has a non-dog or cat pet. Fish especially. Do not purchase any tanks here, none are actually big enough to house anything but a marimo. I have a Guinea pig and options are limited for her here. It's a shame, but I suspect it's due to space issues.

Great place to give your dog a bath! They supply everything you need for $10 (Shampoo, conditioner, towels, a blow dry station, and aprons so you don't get all wet). They also have a decent selection of dog and cat supplies as well as a small section for fish and hamsters/guinea pigs/ferrets. The employees were very kind and helpful as well!

I went in bc I'm getting a dog and I also just love pet stores and had never been in here before. As soon as I stepped in, the store associate greeted me and asked if I needed help. Then he checked on me again later. The store is small, not overwhelming like PetSmart, etc. What it lacks in size it makes up in cleanliness and customer service. It seemed like they had recently remodeled. There wasn't even a smell! I am most definitely making Pet Valu my main pet store for my future pup.

Brought my dog in for the self-serve wash. The area was spotless. Absolutely spotless! The employee was attentive, warm, and kind. She asked if I needed anything and checked on us several times. Everything that I needed to make my dog's experience positive was provided. Including a dog treat thoughtfully positioned on top of perfectly folded towels. I highly recommend Pet Valu -Farmington.

The employees are super friendly and go out of their way to help you with your pet care needs. I love the fact that you can bring your dog in and wash him or her right in the store it makes it so much easier than trying to do it at home. And know that they offer a military/senior discount is one more reason why I would highly recommend this company to you.

The staff here are always friendly and ready to assist. The store carries raw food and healthy treat options, and everything else you need to keep your dog and/or cat happy and healthy; toys, leashes, beds, toothpaste, flea & tick prevention, the list goes on. You can also get personalized dog tags on the spot. The self-serve bath area looks like a spa retreat for dogs :)

Don't pay any mind to those leaving negative reviews. This place has been amazing since day 1. The employees are helpful, friendly and always smiling. The store is extremely clean and organized. My favorite part for me and my dog Foxy is the washing station. I soooo needed this is my life!! For only $10 bucks I can wash, condition, towel and blow dry, spray her with smell good cologne AND they clean up the mess....I'm all in!!! Thank you Petvalu and see you soon :)

The staff were not very nice to myself nor my wife. We have gone to this location 3 times. They have a respectable selection of items, but the staff were very inpatient to answering questions. When covid first hit, and my we wanted to come in the store with our dog to pick out a toy, the staff were very short with us in explaining the new process. It was a sensible process, but they spoke to use like we were idiots, and I didn't appreciate that. We won't be back.

Pet Valu is easily one of the finest additions to downtown Farmington!!! This location provides pet owners the ability to shampoo/groom their dogs (Pet Valu supplies everything you need), to purchasing quality pet toys/accessories, collars, leashes, and great quality pet food/kibble that cannot be purchased in a grocery store. All prices are matched with discounts from other venders. Every time I have used the self-help shampoo dog stations, my dogs and I have always been greeted with friendly and helpful staff who always volunteer to assist us, when necessary. Pet Valu has recently added a groomer to this downtown location. Once again, a most treasured addition to downtown Farmington that is a world apart from Pet Smart and similar large scale businesses.

Tell you something the employees that work at this store are by far the most polite and energetic people I've come across, as for pricing they match anything so don't ever be discouraged the best customer service ever!!!Definitely use the dog wash service they are awesome and the people who work are awesome!!!! They are nothing but warm hearts that love their job and helping those who walk in 2 or 4 legged!

Wonderful customer service, greeted as I came in. They also helped me find the items needed. They have an animal rescue Providing for Paws that they help by showing cats/kittens also accepting donations for them.A wonderful pet store and also bathing for pets.Very recommended!

Workers were nice and friendly and store looked great...however what they are keeping their cats are unacceptable, and very small!!I felt SO BAD FOR THEM. I get they are up for adoption but They looked miserable. I hope you guys atleast take them out and let them roam. Other than that no complaints!

This place had an expansive and unique selection of interactive toys that are difficult to find elsewhere. They also had a lot of good deals on typically pricey products. The bathing station looked super fancy and the staff was friendly.

Nice workers and great selection. Also has an awesome self pet bathing area. Workers love the pets that come in and sometimes have events which can get your pets some more pet to pet interactions.

High-end pet supplies. You won't find grocery store pet food here. Stop and visit the kittens/cats available for adoption. They also have dog washing stations.

Very cool place. They have value in the name which isn't exactly correct.They have lots of different things compared to other stores.the prices are a bit higher but I guess when you're finding stuff is cool as what they have it's worth it. The staff was extremely friendly.

Attended grand opening at 9:30 am. Was extremely disappointed. Even though they were not very busy we were not greeted. Unless you were purchasing something they wanted nothing to do with you. We were told quite rudely by the manager that the raffles, refreshments and give aways were for paying customers only. Very poor management and very poor customer service. Not the way to start out, probably won't go there again.

Prices were very reasonable. Help was great. The 2 sales girls were so helpful and nice. I'd go there all the timeis it wasn't so far forme to drive to. Wish they had a store nearer to me.

Do yourselves a favor and notice how Anne Hahn only ever leaves 1-star ratings for any business, all of which do not even remotely fit the bill of her completely unfounded criticism. Pet Valu is an excellent store and people who only leave hyper-negative reviews should lose the ability to leave ratings and save everyone else the hassle of sifting through their keyboard-based diarrhea of the mouth.

Very limited selection, extremely high prices. They'll offer to order what ever you want, but since amazon offers free 2 day and a better selection of pet food and supplies at a lower price, why shop here?

I called ahead to check if they had the item I needed. They were very pleasant and helpful told me the options that were available. In store the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Great place to shop!

I was at their door waiting for them to open and waited 10 minutes after their scheduled opening time for them to unlock the doors. There was no movement or workers present that I could see. I walked away and went to another pet store altogether.
