Awesome place to go! As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by the employees. As I walked through this amazing gem, I was totally surprised by how wonderful we were treated by everyone. The store was very clean, everyone was very helpful and friendly. A huge thank you to all of you who made me and my family feel at home. That kind of courtesy is almost a thing of the past, but I want each and every one of you to know how much my family appreciated it. We will definitely be back. Called and placed my annual pig order. Love that they always keep my preference on cuts and packaging. Makes the process so much easier. They are always accommodating to any changes. Always happy with their processing of all our meat.

FYI to everyone coming to shop, and please read this before you post a review, there are two Ebels stores here that share the same parking lot. The hardware store has tractors, firearms, etc, and the General Store has food, meats, and clothing. Be sure you are going to the correct one, and if you are posting a review, be sure it is for the correct store. You are unlikely to find fresh ground elk burger meat among the isles of hydraulic fluid, hammers, and firearms. Same parking lot, but two different buildings that are not connected. Also note that at the time of this review, hours may change and the Hardware Store may close before the General Store.This review is for Ebel's General Store. Fantastic store from a great team of family and friends. We appreciated the fantastic selection of fresh meats, fish, and poultry, and bought some of the Kangaroo and Camel to try (planning to get Elk next time). They have a decent selection of dry goods as well and really do meet the needs for a community general store. Thanks again for the great service and the fresh cut packaged meats. Just got back from ebels 2 hr drive, got the tv special from tv get free 4 packs of brats on a whole hog, guess what didn't get the 4 free packs of brats and I asked and they said it was in there, FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!! They reel you in bait and switch!!!

This is a carnivores Paradise! It is one of the most amazing meat markets I have ever visited. They have everything you have ever wanted or imagine and then some. You can buy individual or bulk. You can have your own deer dressed and be confident that you are getting your own meat. If you are within 50 MI. of Falmouth, it is definitely worth going out of your way for. Also take a visit to their amazing hardware store.Adding this later. If you are within 100 miles, it is worth a drive.Most recent pictures are first. Rodney was very helpful in explaining the background of the store. They make their own jerky and smoke their own meats. Right behind the store is the Tiny Town processing plant. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Just what you would expect in a small town.Just a caution though, a couple of butchers have been a little testy. Make sure you tell them exactly what you want and make them stick to it.

Our family loves Ebels. We have been shopping there for many years. We travel from Gaylord to Falmouth just to go there. Their meat prices are fantastic, and the quality is impeccable. If you have never been there, you really need to go.

I’m a native Detroiter. I’ve always loved smoked whitefish. Acme smoked fish has always been the best. I moved to northern Michigan a year ago. To my dismay Acme smoked fish was not available anywhere. So I tried the various offering everywhere from Leelanau to Gaylord. All were far less than acceptable. Some were mushy, or over smoked etc. which brings me to last Thursday. Some friends asked to take a ride to Ebels. While there came upon there smoked fish. I purchased a whole smoke whitefish. This morning we had it with scrambled eggs and warm bagels. It was Delicious!!!! I’m so pleased can’t wait to purchase more. We done !!!! Thanks.

I've enjoyed Ebels Ads for years. Recently I visited the Falmouth location, to find the meat section appealing and fairly priced. Purchased hamburger and bratwurst. When I got home and began to package the hamburger in smaller portions...to my surprise just under that beautiful red fresh color was brown sickening swirls. I was afraid to smell it but I did, smelled like I should cook the whole bunch. Needless to say the brats were 2 days away from expiration. Watch everything.

Off the beaten path, but well worth the trip! There's no shortage of gourmet cheeses, meats, jerkey, and fresh baked goods here! Make sure you take the time to visit the lower level, and see their selection of clothing and shoes, souvenirs, and home decor.The staff is helpful, friendly, and really go the extra mile to help you find what you're looking for.Before you leave, get a fresh coffee and home-made pastry for the road. I got a "Shot In The Dark", and a beautiful baked on site, Chai spiced pear and almond scone...absolutely delicious, and still warm!

Only 5 allowed stars but should be 10 for this awesome little meat market/ butcher shop. This was our first time in the store but we were lucky enough to have had meat processed from here several times and different cuts, the bacon and pork chops were really good but the ham is by far the best we've ever had any where. Besides really friendly and helpful staff great prices on everything. Downstairs they also have a large selection of coats, jackets, boots, just about anything you might need with a really comfortable coffee shop and a little sitting area. I could go on but this is already a bit long

Ebels squeezed us in to process our cow even though they were super busy. I will never go to another butcher shop again. Everything was professional looking. Exactly what we had ordered and then some. The brats are super tasty. There is a reason why they have been in business for so long. Great job. Super happy, you have a customer for life. The transport guy (Jim Lambert) is highly recommended too. Communication was great Thanks so much.

We stopped into Ebels on Sept 27th on our way back from up north after knowing this is where the rancher I buy my Beef and hog uses Ebels to butcher them. As you can see from our receipt we Spent a little bit of cash. Upon arrival of getting home we noticed that the FRESH Canadian Bacon was a little old to say the least. So I contacted them on Sept 28th via email and asked that they would send me a gift card or a refund check being that I live near Ann Arbor and I don't get up there very often. They emailed back 3 weeks later after I asked them if they had a plan and they said they would send a gift card for $10.39 on October 17th. Here it is January 12 and still the gift card has not arrived. It is not about the money but, it is about honoring your word. Ebels has great product which we love but, I am really disappointed in how this played out. So my advice to you is watch the dates on the product when shopping at Ebels.

Great meats, great dog bones for large dogs! Our Huskies love them! Bonus $10 for 2 smoked chickens for $50 purchase. Nice coffee shop. Best peanut butter cookies I've ever had! If your having a party! Come here for your meats!!

Ebel's staff are always helpful & polite. The bulk price for meats is better than Sam's Club, in my opinion. I love their chicken summer sausage!

Ok this will help you huge if you are wanting a big order call them. They do whole pigs, price $1.99 a pound, cut it to you're liking it will take 3 weeks to prepare it. 1/4 cow will run you around $3.40 a pound this will take around the same time as the pig 3 weeks. They do have beef specials right now it's $2.90 a pound but it can change weekly. Hope this helps people out there who needs lot's meat, they also take e.b.t. cards as well.

Amazing! One could spend most of a day there. Deer processing, hardware store, grocery store restaurant, and across the street from all that spread, there is a corn field in town by the Cattle Barn and Corral.

Huge selection of meats. I just love this place and the staff is absolutely amazing. I love when they have the banana nut bread in the fall it seems, I take 2 back to camp and everyone eats it up. Always helpful and kind. Great sales on meat. One of the only places I will get bulk meat from. Friendly warm kind people run the show.

This place takes me back to my childhood. They have a great meat department. If you don't see what you want ask. 9 times out of 10 they'll get it for you. There prices are fair to great depending on what you're buying. Their 2 for 1 price deals are great. My family loves their smoked bacon. I love their garlic pepper bologna. During the week they have a $5.00 lunch special you can't beat. Across the parking lot they have a huge hardware store. I could just live there. They got almost everything there.

Awesome FRESH meat variations! The gift/coffee shop downstairs was our favorite! Super cute & has AMAZING coffee & treats! I visited with my 2 little ones & mother & we each got an espresso & the kids got fresh smoothies & cookies! They were all delicious😍 Even had a cute little play area for the kiddos. Cute clothes, gifts, homemade personal essentials etc!

Ebels has always been a stop on the way north. I won't be coming back for my favorite jerky. Just recently stopped and bought over $100 worth of my favorite. Unfortunately the flavor has changed. It's not the same quality meat I've come to rely on.As always the employees are top notch and always friendly.I hope you'll take a closer look at the quality of your products.Thank you,Kathy
