We went on a busy Saturday morning. (Before picking up our hog from Ebels) The service was absolutely outstanding. My kids got pancakes and they were delicious. I got a sausage omelet and it was not good, it tasted very odd and the sausage was just not right. The coffee was extremely watered down until my last cup, which came from a fresh pot. The atmosphere was comfortable, bathrooms were extremely clean and again, service was outstanding. Would I go back-No, would I recommend it to a friend-yes just don't get an omelet.

This was my first time coming to Duane's, and it won't be the last. The food was absolutely amazing, service was flawless. They even have fresh baked cookies at the counter that were 10/10. If you're ever in the Falmouth area, don't hesitate to try Duane's. I could barely fit this cheeseburger in my mouth, but once I started, it was gone in 5 mins.

This is a great family style restaurant. The menu is extensive and the food is good. The Buffet is exceptional. The service is fast and friendly. It is definitely worth your while to go here especially if you are shopping at Ebel's General Store. Never go to Ebel's if you are hungry.😄

Like probably 70% of Duane's patrons, we were in town to shop the deals at Ebel's and wanted to eat first so we wouldn't be hungry when we went shopping.I'm not sure it's possible for any place to be more of Family Restaurant than Duane's. Talk about homey. For lunch, the special was a meatloaf sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. And it was outstanding. Almost, though not quite, as good as my meatloaf. (Which I make in the smoker. Don't judge. Try it.) The gravy was outstanding, but a huge factor in the sandwich was the bread. Wow. Great bread. And, because it's such a family place, you can buy a loaf from the in-house bakery. Though we didn't get any of the fantastic dang bread, we did get a dozen of their cookies. Wow. Just. Wow. Great cookies.The bathrooms were easy to find, clean, well lit, well supplied and fully functional. They pass the test! (It's surprising how many places don't get it. Clean bathrooms are a huge plus.)Our service, friendly and timely for the entirety of our visit, delivered our very reasonable tab on request and we checked out in short order.Check my other reviews. I don't give 5 stars very dang often. I was going to give Duane's my standard max of 4 but then I realized, they bill themselves as exactly what they are: A Family Restaurant with great home-style cooking. They hit a home run, so they get 5 stars.

Went there for Thanksgiving dinner as we do every year and as always, the food was amazing and the staff is always on their toes to make sure you are satisfied with everything or if you need anything. We've been going for over about 10 years and have never had a bad experience!

Drove 2 hours to have a roast beef/mashed potato dinner. Got there just before 2, ordered and then waitress came back and said they had no gravy because they were getting ready to close. What??? Google showed they closed at 7:00. Apparently, they update their Facebook page, but not Google. Very disappointed. We got our dinners w/o gravy and w/o the homemade bread that supposedly comes with a dinner. Another lady came in after us and waitress was rude to her because it was close to closing time and only thing she could order was a burger. One other guy came in and she was rude to him also. They wouldn't serve him. We told them they better change their website to reflect their hours. Long story short, very disappointed. Waitress handed us our bill with 2 cookies and said she took a little off each of our meals. What a joke - only about 50 cents. LOL. If you happen to go to Duane's, make sure you check their hours on Facebook or give them a call and DON'T go when they're getting ready to close.

Great down home, stick to your ribs food that's reasonably priced. Lunch for 2 is around $25 with fountain drinks. Lots to choose from with many burgers, sandwiches and sides. We've even eaten there for the Thanksgiving buffet. Always quick and good. Service is fast as well. They make their own breads and buns and have pastries for sale like donuts, pies, cookies and cinnamon buns. Worth the trip every time to do lunch at Duanes and shopping at Ebels.

We make two or three trips to Michigan a year and we make sure to stop here every time. Food is always excellent and is classic highland country cuisine.Parking: Only a few spots out front but you can always park in back.Kid-friendliness: Definitely have kid friendly options on the menu plenty of seating plenty of space.

We love Duane's! The servers have always been friendly, quick with refills, treated us good. Food has been good, can't beat it. We've got an elderly friend who loves Ebels and Duane's and looks forward to the timewe can make it up north to take her.

Great food! Menu has many offerings to satisfy any preference. I had the smelt basket which was excellent! My husband ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes that he said was very delicious. Nice clean establishment and very friendly service. Would highly recommend if you are looking good homestyle food.

Had some of the best country fried steak and hash browns I have had at a family diner. Would recommend!Kid-friendliness: They have great kids milk cups with short straws. And accommodations for young kids. Coloring book/crayons.

Outstanding food that all the locals know about, Came here with downstate friends on a Friday afternoon. Two of us had fish and two had roast beef. Seriously good food with serving sizes beyond expectations. The salad bar was a hit for taste and selection, the blue cheese dressing a real delight. We will be back for the storied buffet, we all want to try other offerings.
