Small town family owned hardware store with just about everything you would need. Service is top notch. Customers are always greeted when they enter. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff who can help you find what you are looking for. Small engine repair and blade sharpening is available.

It seems to be a family owned store and they make you feel like family too. I own a small lawncare company locally and I have used their small engine repair services several times. When I walk in they know me by name and do everything possible to get me back out serving my clients. Highly recommend Woodside ACE.

Essexville Woodside Hardware has all you need for quick shopping. Don't have to drive across town to get what I need and workers are friendly and helpful. Just had my Lawn boy self propelled mower serviced last week, May 2023, and it was great! Service guys were very helpful, price was good and my mower never ran as good as it does now. If I ever need to have service done on any of my mowers, I will take it to Woodside Ace Hardware here in Essexville, because they do great work. Thank you!

It's okay for nuts and bolts, non important things. Don't buy Ace paint or paint that they have on sale, it's the worst! Prices are high but in a pinch it'll work.I'll stick with Menards or Lowes for important items.Update: employees don't wear masks..

I've been visiting this hardware since I was a kid in the 80s. It used to be more of a local establishment than the industrialized chain location it is now. I liked the old appearance better because it was more friendly, but the location makes it convenient for people who live in Essexville. Being near 7-Eleven makes it easy to find and give directions to. The staff is mostly friendly and helpful, but they have some technical limitations. Ace provides a digital version of their rewards card, but their scanner has never been able to use it. I always end up using my phone number.
