Beware the labeling on produce at this store. I picked up black berries mainly because there was a sign that they were on sale. Next to it was a sign saying they were out of 6 oz containers. Actually, they had ONLY 6 oz containers, and those weren't on sale. It wanted to charge 140% more per ounce for the berries than the price marked. It was as if the store wanted to deceive shoppers. Krogers feels no responsibility for correctly labeling anything they mark down with those digital coupons :(

Just a nice grocery store with good selection, nice produce, deli & meat along with a pharmacy and at least three disgruntled employees, which changes my review from five to three stars. They have some developely disabled bagging clerks which is progressive, but earned negative points from me as one worker was treated badly right at the checkstand. He apparently wasn't bagging quite perfectly but I didn't have a problem with what he was doing. A manager walked by and made a mean comment. Another time I specified $100 over my bill on debit, was handed a $100 bill which I asked to be broken into $20s. I was told that I should have asked before he shut his cash drawer and I could wait, then proceeded to start the next customer. I turned to the manager standing right there and asked her to break it and she said she couldn't accept it because it wasn't verified. I am not pushy so I left. I am from another state but visit here often, but now I shop at Meijer's. Update 4-9-24, back for another visit, asked for only one bag, the bagger was complying and the checker told her to double bag, I said it wasn't necessary, and the checker gave me a lecture on bagging and the look. I thanked the bagger. "Perfect, nice job."The store has nice employees all around but the checkers are not happy people yet. Still going a little further to the rival store mist of the time but my sister who lives here continues to send me here, at least until the Albertsons merger goes through but hopefully it doesn't. Albertsons ruined the Safeway experience out west where I live. .

You are like a 24 nuisance, as bad as a bar, I can't believe people need to go to a grocery store at 6am , all the trash you seem to generate, flys all over the neighborhood, do better

Hit or miss on the floral section mostly miss which is a disappointment, when you buy flowers every week and have to leave to go get them down the road because they are dead looking. You can get great deals on marked down items when you find them which is always a great thing! But the biggest issue is if you are ever there around close they will constantly call out how many minutes are left to shop and then even follow you around. They go as far as telling you the machines automatically shut down. They don’t. The self check out employees are always very rude about everything to. I get everyone wants to be out on time but yelling and following your customers around till they leave (even if your noticeably rushing around to get out of there) is no way to go about it.

Prices are way too high . It is a nice clean store though . Pandemic is over but the prices just keep going up. For example. Sanders Bumpy cake is $8.99 at Meijers and $14.99 at Krogers. Feeling like customers are being taken advantage of.

They need better workers. Not only does the staff complain while they are ringing you up. The Manger Andrew is rude. I have a delivery issue when I went to krogers for answers he was rude keep walking away. Didn't care. I don't think you should allow that. Why don't you inform workers about the delivery app.

My wife and I have shopped at this Kroger for over a year. We have never had a problem. We buy alcohol here on occasion. Today was a complete 180 from what we usually have for service. My wife is 28 years old with a valid ID and the self checkout clerk laughed at her as she refused to believe it was her. Absolutely disgusting display.

I was soooo disappointed with my visit on 9/14/22. I took a pic of a scan thing to get a coupon, but did NOT get the deal. No one, including the manager, could tell me why it didn’t work NOR would they give me the deal, $.50 off on 5, $2.50 total. I was told there was nothing they could do. I have always loved going to a Kroger and have been treated kindly, until this last time. No idea on how to fix? Then don’t put those signs up!!!! At a minimum I should have been advised on what my error was and they should have been able to adjust on the manager end giving me the deal. No deal, maybe no longer a customer!

My experience happened at this store, but it also has to do with Kroger customer service. I clipped a coupon to transfer prescription. I took my Meijer prescription bottle there, they filled it but no coupon appeared on my account, wait 48 hours the pharmacist tells me, then if it doesn't show up call. After several calls and online chat, I'm sent back to store. After waiting there for quite sometime, I'm given a another number to call. After over a half an hour of phone time, I'm told I have to go to Meijer and get proof that I transferred. After I told her that I simply brought empty cannister--that said Meijer--and why they couldn't call this pharmacy and look up that it was a refill and first time prescription? She just kept repeating that I had to go to Mejier and get proof from them. Seriously? (Yup I went off on her:( Basically it was a false coupon that never seems to work, since from the beginning pharmacist told me they have problems and people often return. And since Kroger wasted so much of my time, I will not be shopping there in the future, much less using their pharmacy.

This store is my one stop place for all of my weekly grocery shopping needs. Great value, fresh produce and meats. Great everyday and sale prices. I save a lot with their rewards card. Also, I get 3cents a gallon off of my gas purchase.

Before I was not a big fan of the store. But after the past year they seem to change (In a good way) Well stocked, Produce and meats seem and look fresh. Prices are great with the Kroger card, plus get points for fuel for your vehicle. I was in there yesterday with a plastic bag of empty bottles to return, and was highly impressed on how clean the bottle return station was. And all machines working. Staff is always friendly wherever you're at in the store. I tip my hat to the managers and employees of the store. Keep up the good work.

Never thought I would find a store more racist than Wal-Mart until I walked into kroger in essexville.On another note, the manager Andrew is a poor excuse for a manager and highly unprofessional.10/10 don't recommend this store. Meijer and even Wal-Mart are better options.

I only go here as a last resort. It doesn't seem like they treat their employees well, anything not on sale can be found cheaper elsewhere, many sale items are no cheaper than they are elsewhere without a sale, out-of-date or nearly out-of-date items can normally be found throughout the store, and even the customers can sometimes make shopping here even more unenjoyable.

I really like the store and location near my home, I always find everything. However I went to check out last night and there was 25 people waiting between the 6 self scan and one check out lane. The store manager called more people up to help, but him himself DID NOT help, he walked around saying hi. That's not what I wanted to see, working in retail both my partner and I for the same company, know very well our store manager jumps in immediately to help. We both looked at each other and said "seriously?". It was disappointing.

It would have been 5 stars, but one time I ran into a naked old guy in the bathroom. It's hard to get a perfect score after seeing that. The rest of the store was neat and clean with a friendly staff, and free of naked old people throughout the rest of the store.

I am a local shopper who has used the pick up method to shop during this covid 19 pandemic. I had a person named Kris who was absolutely the best tender and very professional. I would have loved to of given a tip even for the service I received.
