Came in this morning and was checked out by an Isaac, he was super kind and helpful, walking me through singing up for the rewards program in order to get my sale items, and read all the prices back to make sure they rang up correctly without even asking him to. Super friendly and excellent customer service!

I hope you don't have to talk to a person there especially the pharmacy. good luck. Automated system makes it almost impossible to talk to a person. Meijer has an awsome pharmacy that walgreens won't buy out

Not sure what all the fuss is about, the staff is fairly quick and professional, very courteous. I'm sure all the one star reviews are from old grumps who are upset about having to wait more than 5 minutes. There's lines sometimes, of course, but what do you expect when literally everyone and their grandma comes here for a prescription refill.When you shop here remember to be patient and courteous, the workers here have to deal with so many jerks on a daily basis.

I don’t usually write 1 star reviews, but hope I can save others the trouble I just went through. I have gotten every prescription since I’ve lived in Escanaba from Walgreens, for 15 years never had many problems. I have been on a simple prescription for almost a year, which is still current with an available refill. Today over the course of 20 minutes of holds and transfers I spoke with a call center representative, 2 pharmacy technicians and a supervisor. None of them were able to answer my questions on why my prescription was under review for over 24 hours with no notifications(though I’m set up for notifications). Finally the latter pharmacy technician told me “We are not able to dispense your prescription”, and would not explain why. After I waited on hold for 3 minutes the supervisor informed me “My pharmacy technician just told me that your prescription does not meet our requirements”, but refused to explain why only stating “I’m not going to get into that it’s too long” and that I need to get my prescriptions somewhere else. I think I’d be less baffled and disappointed if any of my questions were answered. If I was not told by an employee to get help elsewhere, I certainly would now.

Pharmacy staff is the kindest around. I've used the Escanaba location since 2012, so the staff recognizes me and knows me by name. They go above and beyond when insurance hang-ups cause delays. If they are unable to resolve an issue due to their position, they provide me with steps and verbal instructions and sometimes even numbers for calling insurance or drug manufacturers or primary care providers. The pharmacists are great at catching interactions and answering questions and even the pharmacy tech have caught potential drug interactions. I do not like that Corporate has absorbed and bought out so many of the smaller pharmacies in the community that served us well over the years. As a result, the pharmacy staff is overworked and swamped. While they are still personable and friendly, it was a loss for the community for Walgreens corp. to buy out the smaller pharms.I still give the Escanaba Walgreens 5 stars due to wonderful, personal service.

Literally the worst store ever! If I could've them zero stars I would. Pharmacy staff is beyond rude. The rest of the staff is uneducated when it comes to coupons. They always sigh at me when I hand them a coupon. If something is on sale and doesn't ring up properly they refuse to fix it. Heaven forbid, your points don't ring up or you choose to pay with them. Cause they will refuse to use them to pay and won't give you points that are advertised with the sale. I have made numerous calls to corporate and nothing has been done with any issues with staff. Sherry and Becki are the rudest ones that work there.

I have used other Walgreens and have had good experiences. The Walgreens in Escanaba service has gone down hill. Terrible customer service, long waits at the pharmacy. They decided to give me a 1 month prescription like I have always had, but decided to bill the insurance company for 3 months. No recourse, I am stuck with a rude response no customer service and paying out of pocket for two months. Left a complaint on the corporate website with absolutely nothing. If you are looking for a pharmacy, look somewhere else.

I have used Walgreens in many different states and I have always been pleased with the service I have received. The Walgreens in Escanaba Michigan, has by far, been the worst customer service experiance I have seen and experianced.Very rude techs who talk down to you and interrupt you constantly when your trying to explain a situation with your insurance to them.Being a little more professional and working on your communication and listening skills go a long way.It probably would help to hire people who dress professionally as well and don't have piercings in their face or half their head shaved with bright pink hair.Its understandable you want to be an individual just like everyone else but do it on your own time.

Very rude pharmacy staff in Escanaba. There is one very friendly helpful friendly pharmacy tech I wish I remembered her name. My dad and I have the same first and last name however our middle names and of course birthdays are different. Even when I give them my middle initial and birthdate, they still on more than 5 occasions handed me my dad's medication. Then they acted like it was my mistake. I don't take medication that would harm me too bad if I don't get it but my dad does. This is life and death stuff. Pay your people more and get some good employees in your pharmacy!

Anytime I've needed a script filled last minute they've gotten it done. Today, I had a pressing situation where I had meds ready to go and no way to get them from the syringe into a pooling bag. 1 call to Walgreens during a busy day before a holiday and they came through with a needle so I didn't a. Miss a dose and b. Throw out 10K worth of a biologic medication that they didn't prescribe. Kudos to Walgreens in Esky!

This Walgreens has the best pharmacy with caring and knowledgeable people. The pharmacist is very considerate and accommodating. I will use this store every time we visit the Escanaba area.

Matt is okay. Every single other employee, especially the short bird looking blonde pharmacists, are the absolute worst people on earth. I hope they never experience happiness again. I’ve already switched pharmacies and I’m never going back to Walgreens.

Wonderful staff at their pharmacy. On the rare occasion there is a mistake of any kind, they apologize rather than blame the customer like Walmart does. SO GLAD I SWITCHED! EFFICIENCY AND NICENESS RARELY GO HAND & HAND, BUT HERE YOU HAVE IT!

I just called the escanaba, mi walgreens store. I was looking for information about western union. This girl, named Jaycee couldn't answer any of my questions, then told me the person who may know wasn't there. Followed by her saying I am on a register and have customers. Click. Well walgreens you just lost our business.
