People there not helpful, couldn't find half inch pvc or work with a non profit school. Wasted an hour of my day and they lost 500 dollars in sales.

I ran in here after work to buy a Leatherman. The associate Randy was extremely helpful and lead me right to them...even sort of helped me choose the right one for me! Which was a semi cheaper one. Then I had another associate who was very helpful and patient as I asked him which tool belt would look best 😂😂

Shout out to Clayton in Plumbing. I received a bathroom vanity and the cupboard door hinges had problems. I didn't want to return the whole thing; the sink was heavy, the vanity bulky, and I'm 76 and live 20 minutes away. I phoned Menards and explained it to Clayton. He had me bring back one of the broken hinges and spent half an hour figuring out with me what to do to fix the whole thing. That is REAL service! Thank you. 5 stars for Clayton.

Staff is really friendly. Prices are good the store is big and clean. And I found the new thin mint girl scout cookie pretzels here. The cashier was also very helpful when my card was having chip issues

We stopped at our Home Depot in Iron Mountain for flooring for a project that we're doing in Norway. I just didn't like the pricing or the selection at Home Depot and decided to drive to escanaba to get product that we have used previously. They had everything there and they had paint colors that we're close to the floors that we were doing. We were able to find everything we needed for the project within 10 to 15 minutes including having our paint color mixed. Menards has the 11% rebate frequently and I use that to its full advantage. It may have cost me time payroll and fuel to go to Menards but it's usually worth it. I only wish they would put at Menards in Iron Mountain Michigan. Menards could compete with everybody very successfully. Please consider a Menards from Iron Mountain

Went to buy a gazebo. Asked 2 associates for help, Never got any. After at least 20 minutes I went upstairs to the stock room and got it myself. Slid it halfway down the stairs when an associate showed up to inform me of an elevator I could have used to do HIS JOB and retrieve my gazebo from the stock room. But hey, at least I got 11% off. Right?

Super messy process… we paid in advance for a new furniture set and were told we had 2 weeks to pick it up. When we went to go pick it up today, they originally told us they didn’t have it and sold it. Then turns out they did have one set left. They told us today it was first come first served. My question is why are you having people pay over $1200 for furniture if they’re not guaranteed? They also oversold this same furniture set to 3 other customers which means 3 people who have already paid won’t be receiving the product they’re expecting… last time we ever buy furniture from here.

Went to Rita in the paint department to get a 5gal bucket of paint. As soon as she saw me with the bucket she started mumbling under her breath. She then complained nonstop to her co worker about having to mix paint and carry the buckets. I got my paint anyway, but she had a very poor attitude towards her job. Never had an experience like that at Menards, and was unpleasantly surprised

DONT BUY SPECIAL ORDER VANITIES HERE!!!!Bough 2 special order vanities. Waited for 3 months after it arrived the backsplash is broken. Waited another 2 months for replacement but guess what it didnt arrived. Associates dont know what happen and dont know how to resolve the issue. Never give an updatr either.not hapoy at all.until not no backsplash.

The check out people are generally helpful and knowledgable. I went to the carpeting area to get carpet pad. The first time I went there last week the guy must have been having a bad day, as he was very short with me and not very helpful. I waited for him to finish with another customer and after that it was just another not pleasant experience. The next day I went back and two guys helped me, because I needed to get more padding, and they were also kind of short with me, but more helpful. It seems like they are under staffed and over stressed.

Warning when purchasing lawn equipment. Purchased a lawn mower, doesn't want to start,menards won't take back even with receipt. Told I have to take to get fixed. So sad.

I wish I had a choice in this town, no service and rude cashiers. Why have cashiers? I have to do everything myself but scan the items! Run my card, pack the items or drive around and load my own plus when I ask how much I have left on my rebate credit she said” it’s in bold on your receipt!” Hate this place, wish we had a Lowe’s or Home Depot. There they even given veterans discounts.

If you need a pole barn, shop ANYWHERE ELSE if you can! We made our order, then THEY changed it around a whole bunch due to "supply issues". Now, because the order was changed, we "aren't qualified for the rebate," thus shorting us THOUSANDS of dollars that we were promised when buying the kit. We had no control over the things being changed!Oh, and they left things out of the kit and charged us extra to buy the things we were told came with the barn. This Menards is not to be trusted.

I love the stores and find bulk items that no other store offers. Tonight was disappointing, after driving from out of town the shellac (that showed up on inventory) was not on the shelves and they said they it likely was on a palette but they couldn't get it and wouldn't be likely stocked until the next day.

Went to Menard's today and my fiance and my mother had the worst customer service experience lots of employees but nobody willing to extend good customer service and help them my fiance as to even help an elderly couple load a 60# bag of concrete in to their cart employees are rude the only decent service was from the cashier who checked them out. I will never go back to this Menard's again take pride in your job and treat your customers with respect and gratitude because in the end if it weren't for your customers you wouldn't have a job or a paycheck

We will no longer do business!! We have been long time customers and have spent thousands with this company. We ordered a chest freezer. Drove 2 hours to get it prior to that had gone grocery shopping and did some other errands. Didnt get home until after 9. Opened it and there in the lid rear center is a good size dent that has creased and chipped the paint. Tried to call store but already closed. Had no choice but to start up and use or would have lost all the frozen food. So called the next day which was Sunday. Was told we could reorder or 25.00 off. So had to speak with husband. Got back to see if we could do better than 25.00 was told no. So asked if we could just order another lid and just exchange them. Was a no. So said what if we just returned for a replace and then was told that would be 25% restock fee. We are livid. So we took 25.00 off a 359.00 freezer to have a good size dent and will have to treat where the paint is chipped so it wont rust.. We will be back to zero out the credit on our Menards card, cancel it and no longer do business. Buyers beware!!!!

Cheaper then home Depot. Sink kit was missing the faucet. So back we go for the fuel. Home Depot may have been better option. But I like Menards. I feel they will fix this issue. It will be ok

The Ying: Mostly clean store, fairly well stocked, and very good service. The employees are helpful and courteous.The Yank: They were out of stock for one of the main items for which I stopped in. (Not too surprising since it was near the end of the season for the warm-weather product.) I walked about half the entire store and after talking with four employees in the process, eventually found two of three items on my list.General complaint for all Menards stores: They are poorly organized in terms of finding specific items easily, often requiring one to wander and browse long distances through much of the store and several potential departments, and often requiring one to find an employee to ask directions to find the item, which is a huge waste of time, effort and energy. I believe this is intentional by Menards design, in order to induce impulse purchases. I've decided to favor smaller hardware stores for basic items and products, to save hours of my life from wandering Menards.

I should have went to Walmart instead. Needed a few chop saw blades and a couple 3/8 bolts. Got what I needed and headed to checkout line. The checkout line was from the far end all the way to the automotive section. Store was full of people and only 2 lines open? They are paying somebody to put the stuff I was going to buy back on the shelf. I saw that line and left the cart right there. Unacceptable.

I never seen such bad service and unhelpful people every time I have been in the store. This last time they gave me a hard time when I went to the pick up area they told me they don't do that and I can get them myself. Even though that's where I was sent to have them loaded it. I finally had to get rude to get them to help me. The only reason I needed help was because I can't lift I did not expect it to be such a big inconvenience for the staff to help people who have physical problems.

Very polite nice workers who answer your questions when you need help on finding things in their store and they can tell you prices on how much things cost when you call the store!!! They have wheel chairs for handicap people who need them and they help that customer haul things to their vehicle if their needing that help in lumber to and to make their customers happy!!

This place is a joke, BEWARE. I went in on a Thursday and placed a order and paid for delivery to be delivered the following Wednesday. I was told everything would be delivered but one item. I was ok with that.They call me on Monday and tell me not everything is in stock and some things may be a month or more to get in. I ordered 200 ft of chain link fence and everything to put it up, how can I put up half a fence!!! I was told everything would be delivered except the one item on Wednesday, they took my $1,700+ dollars. You would assume everything there they would hold for you after you scheduled delivery and paid for it but no read your paperwork it says on the bottom things will be sold on a first-come first-serve basis so they took my money and my order and then sold the stuff over the weekend. I have never heard of a company doing that to somebody that is ridiculous.
