Pettit Hardware is an amazing small town hardware store. You don't see very many independent small town hardware stores like these anymore. All of the staff is friendly and great to chat with. They have a great product selection and their prices are way cheaper than Ace Hardware down the road. I prefer to shop here any day for my hardware needs instead of Ace.

What an amazing place! Talk about history and practicality all in one! We walked in to see the gift shop, and then realized how amazing this place is. This store is a living museum of history. We were able to find some needed items for our home and some gifts for Christmas as we learned how a 1913 cash register functioned! We had such a great visit with the folks that own this awesome hardware store, if you enjoy history and have the need for anything hardware related, visit Pettit Hardware! You will not be disappointed. There is something to say about true customer courtesy! They actually treat you like your important here. I felt like an MVP! Thank you Mary for the great experience and all the great history of your family business!

I adore the layout of the store. The gentleman working were very kind to me. I went in wanting an “eatin rabbits” shirt and left with a shirt and a handmade bracelet instead! Great gifts, definitely a store to walk around in while downtown.

Pettit hardware is one of the few remaining old style small-town hardware stores with hardwood floors. The gentleman there were very friendly and helpful.
