This is my "I have no idea" hardware. Anytime my husband sends me to pick something up, I just show the item to one of the many employees, and they get the item for me. I have been through the store that is packed with merchandise and purchased paint from them. They also have the lumber yard for any projects you are doing. Prices are good and the service can't be beat!

Great hardware store and staff, but the prices are too high. I mostly do business with Pettit Hardware down the road because they offer lower prices and are a "mom and pop" shop as well! Nothing personal against you guys, but your prices are way more expensive than Pettit Hardware in Eaton Rapids.

I like to shop local. I like Eaton Rapids. It has the longest river in Michigan running thorough it, plenty of parks, small town atmosphere, tucked away from the rest or the world, and Christmas lights every night. Having been in retail many years before being a business owner and finally a retiree I can appreciate the multitude of services tucked into this small patch of real estate. The highlight of my day when I visit your store is having Dan wait on me. That man is a jewel. In fact, may I suggest maybe having him train the staff maybe just a bit in regard to friendliness and making clients feel comfortable in the store? I know I know it's hard to find good help. Actually it isn't. Please realize employees are a reflection of the owner's personality. Friendly advise from a customer that likes your store very much. Update 1/01/2022. It's getting better folks. When I was in retail I never ever hesitated to attempt to make life better, especially for those spending their hard earned money. Thank for the improvements. Dan has rubbed off.

My father in law and I came in for some lumber and a gutter on Sunday. At the same time, a young man came in and asked the clerk if he could help fix his broken fishing pole. The line was very twisted.Not only did the clerks oblige, it attracted several employees who helped the young man fix his pole and sent him on his way. This is the type of hometown service that I love to see. A+ service from this Ace Hardware.They also had the quality products we needed. I just wanted to recognize the nice thing the employees did for that young man that day.

Did what the big box store could not!I just needed a car key copied. I did the programming of the remote and chip myself since it involved a programmer OBD tool. So all I needed was for it to be cut to make it complete. I made the mistake of going to Lowe's first, as they could not cut it in their fancy machine. Go figure. Took it to Ace, here, and they were able to cut it in minutes and only for a $1.50!Definitely the helpful place!

Ace is the only hardware store around that carried the glass I needed for my window. Not Lowes, Menards or Home Depot. The employees at ace are very knowledgeable and helpful. They cut and carried the glass out to my vehicle and helped me get the rest of the tools I needed for my window because I had no idea. No need for bigger stores when you got Ace around.Ace really is the place!

These guys are the best!! I showed up today in crisis. Needed special paint they no longer carry. The staff quickly helped me realize a remedy and matched the paint that had dried on the inside of my empty paint can! I am forever grateful. God Bless.

I can't say enough amazing things about the Ace hardware team that works here the staff is unbelievably friendly kind and professional! They always make me laugh cuz my husband will send me in there to get something and I have no idea what he's talking about but they know what he's talking about. Lol! Every Ace I've ever been to has been great and the ER location is no exception. The only difference is, the guys that work here are even more helpful and awesome than any other store I've been to. This store is always busy when I go in there, but you never get anything than top notch customer service, and always with a smile.

Great small town hardware store! This place has just about anything you can think of not only for the home but a little section exclusively for auto as well! Now if only they could work on their prices but you pay for the convenience of it being in town! 🤷‍♂️

I really enjoy a trip to the local hometown hardware store. For being eaton rapids it amazes me the amount of lumber and hardware and supplies these people carry. Always run into people i know and the workers all seem happy n very helpfull

Always, always super helpful and don't treat women like their idiots when finding what you need for a project or repair. When I asked questions about the chalk paint, the person knew the answers and gave great tips. Other times they've helped me to find the exact screw I needed or told me about a coupon in their flyer to save money. We use them often!

Great place. The only bad I ever had waslast week when I came in to drop off a screen to be fixed and get a quart of paint one of the workerssaid hey what do you think you're doing I said I'm going after a quart of paint not until you check that screen in what does that have anything to do with me getting a quart of paint the screens broke and bring it in to get it fixed just let me get my paint and go take care of the whole thing up there

Somehow I find myself here every Saturday. The staff is friendly and always willing to help me get exactly what I need to get the job done. On the few occasions when they don't have what I need they will actually recommend another place that would be seen as competition, which tells me they care about getting the customer taken care of no matter what.

The Eaton Rapids branch is wonderful, they are friendly and there is always someone asking if you need help or assistance...and carry through! They do not leave you hanging around waiting like I have experienced at Home Depot or Menards. I highly recommend them.

The employee lent me 10$ for a shovel so I could get back to work!I was in a bind, the store had 1 minute until close and I needed to buy a shovel because I broke the one I was using at work! Nevertheless, without the hospitality of the employee I would not have been able to finish my job that day!!

If you are a do-it-yourself guy like myself, go here. The staff is beyond helpful. Kyle helped me return stiff that he didn't have to. Joe helped me sort through lumber to find the best wood for my project. Guy is always helpful at the counter. Unfortunately, I can't remember all of their names, but I assure you, these are some of the most down to Earth, helpful individuals you will ever meet. Keep it up, fellas.

I have always loved Ace stores. They employees are personal and friendly. I'm not very knowledgeable regarding hardware and tools, and each time I've been there employees have always been wonderfully helpful and quick to make sure you are finding everything. Love this place.
