This was a cozy little place to stay. The rooms were so clean. The front office was so nice. They had complimentary muffins, donuts and that sort in the common room. Coffee too. Next time I think we will rent one of the cottage rooms since it's larger. We just had the regular room this time. It was Oct 2022 and it was cold and rainy most of the time we were here. We still got to enjoy the area and come back to a cozy comfy room to sleep in.

Enjoyed a two-day stay there. It's rare when I can sleep at any hotel, but I slept well both nights. The walls are quite solid and you don't hear the people around you which is super nice. It's got a nice location where you're in short reach of many great places. Cindy was super friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable about the area. The room was small and charming. Here's an odd side note, they of course had little bottles of lotion and shampoo and conditioner. I only use the lotion. But it was really really good stuff lol.

An absolutely fabulous weekend stay! Cindy was an amazing and welcoming host to a very fun weekend.5 stars doesn't cover it. 500 ⭐️'sRooms were cute and well appointed. Quiet and clean. Nice coffee bar in the morning was a great touch. Loved the bar/restaurant across the street. Nice little stroll to get dinner.Thank you and we will be back.

My wife and children were supposed to stay at Torch Lake Inn this weekend for a big family reunion. Due to unexpected circumstances we had to cancel two days before check in. Cindy was great to work with and was able to sell our room to other customers. The rest of my family that did stay there had great things to say about the staff/owners as well as the quality of the accommodations. I look forward to staying there again….for the first time.

I was camping with my 5 year old about a half mile from this motel when a sudden rainstorm caused our tent to flood early in the morning. I quickly threw everything into my truck and remembering the “vacancy” sign I’d seen the night before, I drove to Torch Bay Inn. It was 8am but Cindy (owner) got me into a room and let me know they had fresh donuts in their coffee lounge, which helped us re-center after the chaotic start to our day. I got my kid to his day camp and came back to book more days. She realized the room I paid for was only available one night and I was offered to move to the a room with 2 doubles later that day so we could stay put longer. I greatly appreciated that, because while I hadn’t been in the first room long, I had pulled in a lot of our stuff to get it all reorganized (while it was still raining) so I definitely had made the room damp and she would have to do some cleaning. But she just transferred me to the other room and didn’t make me pay additional fees like most other places would, which I found extremely generous. Both rooms we were in were super cute and I was surprised that their rates are so low for how nice the place is. It was quiet and the location was perfect, conveniently close to everything (3 min from a grocery store, under 10 min to Torch lake, 3 min to Lake Michigan, 30 to Charlevoix, 20 min to downtown Bellaire). We were able to use the fridge in their coffee lounge and even when the motel was full, there was plenty of room in the fridge and we could always use the microwave when needed. They have a cute area in the back where you can grill or use the fire pit, which we didn’t take advantage of but we did see a hummingbird multiple times frequenting the garden. Cindy was so sweet to my son who loved to report random things about his day back to her. I won’t be bothering with camping the next go around and hope to stay here again next time we’re in the area.

My family and I stayed here a couple weeks ago and we were 100% satisfied! Super cute, very clean, safe and welcoming cottage. Property is beautiful and the owners were so accommodating! Cindy definitely makes you feel welcome and that you are more than a customer. We were a little worried this would be too far our from everything, but it was an ideal location! Especially with toddlers and kids. Close enough to things, but not right in the mix of the busyness. We will most certainly be back and continue to recommend!

We had a wonderful stay here. Cindy was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was cozy and very clean. They have a well maintained social area with a fire pit, chairs, picnic table, and charcoal grills with all the tools you'd need to use them. Our room was right in front of the fire pit area but, even with people out there enjoying themselves our room was quiet. We can't wait to return next summer.

Such a nice little cabin we stayed in! The pull out sofa was not comfortable to sleep on so make sure you take the bed! It was nice and clean with all the comforts of home. Quiet and we were able to bring our dogs which was wonderful. You cannot leave your pets there alone, just so you know before going.

This was such a perfect little stop on our mini honeymoon. It is absolutely beautiful you won't be disappointed with the charm. From the common room for coffee to the outdoor patio for late night fires to the newly renovated rooms it is picturesque. We will definitely be back. Thank you to the owners for accommodating us we very much appreciate it and had an amazing time.

My family and I stayed in a cottage last week, and my sister and her family stayed in one of the Inn rooms. We were so happy with our choice. The cottage was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. As a mom of multiple small children - I was in love with all the storage space available for all our things - especially the bathroom. Access to both beaches were close, a market was nearby with all the necessities, and a great restaurant right across the street. The beaches near the inn were much better for families than the beaches we've experienced at the southern end of the lake. Looking forward to coming back to this place, and I would recommend to everyone I know. Cindy was especially lovely to deal with, and customer service was on point! Enjoy your stay :)

Absolutely beautiful! This was such a cute stop and was such a wonderful stay. From the room to the common area for coffee to the outdoor patio everything just has so much charm. We will definitely be back. Such a nice stop for a mini honeymoon trip.

Been coming here for the last 3 years as part of a huge family vacation. We have stayed every year, and already have our names in for 2022.All the cabins and rooms are different and have a great feel. Stayed here for one night in the cottages and I was so impressed! King bed with queen pull out couch, kitchenette, and a very nice bathroom. The cottage was beautiful and so clean. We were looking for a place to stay last minute and when we emailed the inn, the owner got back to us right away. Highly recommend and we look forward to coming back one day!

We stayed here during a 2 day color tour road trip through Michigan. Very quiet and room was quite nice. We chose this location because we were traveling with our dog and they allowed him to stay with us for an additional fee (I believe it was $10 or $15). Room was clean. Only dowsides to our stay we're the bed being soft and the pillows being flat.

This is an amazing place. The cottage we stayed in was awesome. Perfect four our family. One thing I wish they had a curtain on the west facing window because standing in the kitchen area looking towards the TV you can't see anything because the sun is in your eyes in the evening hours. But that is the only suggestion I have. The owner's have a great place here and my family and I plan on making in this our new yearly retreat when we come to torch lake.

Would go back again ! Very cute ! Coffee room has what you need , Ice containers etc. Has Charcoal grills which I thought was convenient and boat parking . Great restaurant across the street with live music. Torch lake it’s only a half a mile away for boat launch . I couldn’t have used a better mattress . I think it’s time to replace the one we had . But other than that it was very cute . Friendly owner very sweet !

The rooms and cottages are great and were just remodeled. Super cute. Cindy is so nice. Close to the lake. They have a gas fire pit and charcoal grills. They have a big lawn that the kids ran around on... It would have been cool if there was a play set or slide or something.

So glad I stopped here. Rented one of the cabins for a night and was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. Very nicely remodeled, very clean...it was just what I needed after driving for hours. Killer restaurant across the street too with live music. Didn't expect to have such a great night!
