As far as SALs go, this is a good one. Clean and well managed. Friendly workers, small enough to not give me an anxiety attack 🙃 Prices are decent, we usually get pantry items to stock up on. They have a decent selection of spices, seasonings, etc. Nice baking isle and a small but nicely stocked baby/home/OTC meds/pet selection.

I was pleasantly surprised when we went into the store. They carry a lot of name brand food items as well as some off brand items. They had some good prices on frozen food and veggies. They had an actual butcher in the store. Plus excellent prices on their meats. Check it out I think it was worth the stop.

I have been shopping here sense I was a kid. The staff are super friendly and very helpful very different atmosphere compared to the big box store. If you shop on a budget this is the place to go great prices and their meat is very reasonable and good eats I'm picky about my burger and steak but they have good meat! Definitely stop in you won't be disappointed 😁

This is a great neighborhood grocery store. They are always so friendly. Rarely do I find something not in stock. This visit was one of those occasions. The management was willing to substitute and item of greater value for the item out of stock. Cashiers are always friendly and the food is fresh. I like shopping here.

I've always liked save a lot franchise as a whole Prices are good if you don't mind off brand goods my favorite go to is the meat section there's always a good selectionUnfortunately I have to give this save a lot a four because I have bought food that was expired on the shelf and fruit that has not been the most fresh

Same grocery store as it has been for years. It appears they have cut the amount of varieties of grocery items. I noticed that prices have risen slightly but the quantities on many items have been lowered.. example, egg yolk noodles have Alway been 16ounces but now are 12 ounces. Good place to save money but buyer beware of quantities. At least the East Tawas store bags groceries now.

I buy certain things in there, the burger I won't buy, 60-40, by the time you cook it, you loose 40 percent to grease steaks are of low quality, Pork and chicken are ok, other stuff is ok, canned goods, cereal, coffee etc

The meats here are a good deal of you spring for the larger packages. The eggs are my go to for affordable good quality. They accept wic and foodstamps cards. The store is a little small but you can find some treasures here. They have a pizza sauce without any added sweeteners for a low price, and the mac and cheese boxes are a quick grab. They have a selection of baby food and items also.

Been shopping at the tawas Michigan store for years. Have been noticing that they never pull out dated food off the shelves and some of it is spoiled and the vegetables look like they have been frozen

This has some awsome groceries here I suggest it for anybody who doesn't have to much money but wants some groceries and dont want to go to Walmart and spent that much money on their groceries.

I buy most of my groceries at save a lot. There are usually some pretty good deals on meat and produce.
