I am an Amazon flex employee who was in the store today working a shift. As I was going in to pick up the groceries for customers a Whole Foods employee came up to me while I was trying to do my job. He informed me that I was using the wrong cart (although it states in the training module that we are to use them). “These are for in store shoppers only” meanwhile I was clearly wearing my Amazon vest and there was a sign by the larger carts saying they were for Amazon flex workers…. Not to mention I used them earlier today as well as last week. An employee even told me to use them last week. I had 26 different packages I had to bring to my car; how do you expect me to bring those all to my car if I cannot use the large carts?Please allow me to do my job.Not even a “hello” by anyone.

Staff are super nice and helpful and the food is amazing quality. It is higher priced, but I am happy to spend more on healthier food. My only complaint is them not bringing the BlackBerry Lime cake :( it's the only cake I truly enjoy eating!!!!!!

My girlfriends and I stopped by to try out their coffee bar. The barista was incredibly rude. She was very visibly annoyed that the customer in front of us ordered a smoothie, and even more so when we ordered our coffees blended. My friend tried to order a brown butter latte, and the worker aggressively snapped "no!" at her, so she ended up ordering no flavor. She constantly rolled her eyes and her tone was just rude for every single customer in line. Really unfortunate.

I’ve shopped at the Lansing store for a while now. Lately, when I go into pickup 365 brand gluten free white bread, it hasn’t been in stock. How can you NOT have your own brand of products on the shelf? I don’t have time to visit your store on a daily basis to see if you have things in stock. I’m also very disappointed with the deli staff. When I went in the last time, the woman behind the counter told me I didn’t have a good vibe and why should she show me the ham that I was buying. She said it was ham. What could you see???? This store is a joke!!

Normally this is an awesome place. But. It is costly. The picture I'm posting is from the hot bar. Carrots ( that was not cooked). Mac and cheese. And a salad with watered down ranch. I paid 12 bucks and thought it would probably be about 3 or 4 dollars . only ate the mac and cheese. Second time I had a bad experience with thier food bar. Lesson learned

On 10/25 I had to change your store hours for your customers on GoogleMaps that were changed on 10/16.I go out of my way to pick up items I can only get here. I just wasted 30 minutes of my time unnecessarily because I checked your hours on GoogleMaps before I headed over. This is basic business management in the 21st century. Catch up.

Nice clean market with friendly service. Just not sure who shops here. My kid pointed out the $12.99 bag of Tortilla chips and the $4 juice box. I think I'll stick with using it for Amazon returns.....

I went in for the salad bar. What was out appeared to be wilted, dried up, and inedible. Their other food bar that sells cooked items by weight was ok but options were limited and expensive. I bought some prepackaged green beans out of the fridge that was supposedly cooked. Got back to my hotel room and they were literally raw with oil, salt and pepper on them. We don't have a whole foods over where I live; It's amazing to me how little 50.00 buys at this store. I guess it's for specific items, like the food bar if you get there and there's actually food available .The place looked clean and customer service was on point,

This review is more of the bar area than the store as a whole. It's a nice place with good prices for a beer or wine (significantly cheaper than a regular bar). You can get a good craft beer for $4. The food is good too. I had the Up In Smoke Burger and fries, the Brussels Sprouts, and broccoli tots, all of which were great. The bacon on the burger was perfect! They also had Pilsner Urquell, which was a nice flashback to my trip to Prague last summer.

Whole Foods on Grand River in East Lansing is a well stocked outlet with the usual offering one comes to expect from this brand. The store features a sandwich bar/deli in addition to the usual "buffet" style DIY prepared food stands. I have not seen a sandwich bar like this at other outlets. As usual, parking and accessibility is week catered for, staff are knowledgeable, and shoppers can enjoy samples/tasters which always appeals to me.

I was excited to try some of their hot foods. I couldn’t because their was nothing fresh. The food appeared to have been sitting there all day. Everything was dried up and stuck to the surface. The salad area was the same. They didn’t even have the small cups for dressing. There was not one staff person that offered help. We drove from Grand Rapids to Lansing and we were disappointed. The prices were way to high as well. We salvaged our trip by going to Horrocks.I do appreciate the owners response. However I immediately went to the link to chat with someone and it quickly said there was no one available to chat. I have several google reviews and most are positive but at this point I will just move on from this Whole Foods location. Perhaps I will try again at another location in the future.

Hello, In December of the 23rd year, I witnessed an unpleasant situation: there was a family at the cash register, a young lady asked the cashier to make half the payment in cash, and to withdraw half from the card. The situation seems to be normal, but apparently not for the cashier, she took everything off the card and said that she seemed to have confused it (got confused in two buttons). Bad workers are always a problem. She looked like a Ukrainian woman, if she is so stupid, why hire her as a worker, let her stay at home and learn English, if she has arrived. There is no place for racism in America. And stupid workers should be fired, So that they don't scare away customers.

Today is the day I learned there is levels to the meat game. I was warmly welcomed by Tyler when I arrived at the counter. Tyler then preformed the best craftsmanship my eyes have ever seen. Tyler is single handedly the greatest meat grabber of all time it’s quite that simple. I asked for a 1lb of ground beef and lord behold, he placed the beef on the scale and it was exactly 1 lb. If that’s not greatness to you I don’t know what is. Tyler should be recognized for his hard work and admiration, his perspicacity and righteousness shows the type of person he is. I will be back just to be served by that man. Thank you for that experience Tyler.

Have been shopping at Whole Foods since it’s initial opening. In recent months I’ve become very concerned with the lack of ‘availability’ of numerous products in the store. Within the past few weeks, I’ve been unable to find the following items: 1. #2 Natural Coffee Filters, 2. Bakery is frequently without a number of breads, like Sourdough Boule, etc., 3. No Rutabagas (the employee in the fresh produce section didn’t know what they were!), 4 No Butter, I mean NO Butter on shelf, today; could purchase imported butters, around $8.00 dollars, 5. Pizza Station is nearly ‘non-functional’, I.e., VERY limited hours, frequently closed; never open much beyond 6:00 p.m. These are just a few of the experiences I’ve had in the past several weeks. Same response from front/courtesy desk: ‘a supply/delivery problem. Will no longer shop at Whole Foods; too much trouble coming into store and leaving because of not finding products that I’m shopping for. And then, there’s the Employee Turnover, but I won’t get into that here. Looking most forward to eventual (?), opening of Trader Joe’s! Alan J. Kreutzberg, East Lansing.

They have everything other local stores don't have. Best artisan cheese selection in town. I am really liking their lentil salad and taboule. Their grape leaves are a little slimy but not expensive. Since selection of kimchi. Friendly staff!

This place is the absolute worse. They never have there bread stocked or their refrigerators. And Don't ask for breakfast cause they will tell you it's done even if they didn't put food out. I've been to multiple wholefoods and this is by far the worse one.

My son and I like shopping here as we always grab few things. We lol organized , plenty of choices, I do like that they always have a new fruit, cheese or some other unique items. Their wino selection is always rdy for your taste.

Lost my business entirely going forward due to closing at 9. While Im at it should also mention the meat and seafood departments are horribly overpriced and poor quality for those prices. Theres only a few things worth buying here unless you like lighting your money on fire as it is.
