I was there earlier this evening to make a purchase and use the restroom. They keep the bathrooms locked, so you have to ask to use them. When I politely asked the cashier at the front if I could use the bathroom, she looked at me as if she were bracing herself. She said yes in a tone that showed she was not happy about having to assist me. When we got to the bathrooms, she unlocked the WOMEN’S bathroom for me, although I am clearly a guy. I had to use the restroom badly enough that I didn’t take the time in that moment to talk with her about it, but I felt disrespected.As I walked out of the restroom, I saw a customer waiting at the pharmacy counter. There appeared to be no one manning the pharmacy at all. The customer asked me if I knew if anyone was back there in the pharmacy, and I said I wasn’t sure. After waiting for a bit, the customer eventually started to walk away from the area. Then we saw someone come out of some pharmacy back room just to close down the window for the night. It was a couple of minutes before 6 PM, so not quite time to close up the pharmacy yet. The guy saw the customer, who was only there to get a prescription, but he did not acknowledge or help her. I felt bad for that customer.All in all, I had a very negative experience at this Rite Aid. Two employees showed no interest in displaying any sort of customer service skills, and I was only there for 10 minutes. Did I make my planned purchase? Absolutely not. They’re not getting any business from me. I recommend staying away from this place and going somewhere that knows how to treat customers with basic politeness and respect.

The RiteAid store on Lake Lansing Road is wonderful. The two pharmacists that are generally there ( I believe Michael and David but might have missed on that) are exceptional. Melissa the pharmacy tech is just outstanding and is also friendly and helpful. I continue to go there because of the friendliness and quality of the staff.

EDIT: 2-27-24If there was a ZERO star I’d use it. After a couple years of mediocre bland service (we don’t go to the pharmacy to have fun or be entertained now do we) I was majorly disappointed and completely shocked to discover a script I’ve been using for 15-20 YEARS doubled in price. Initially a defensive clerk said my insurance changed? Nope. When I assured her that was not the case, the extremely defensive, dismissive, downright rude pharmacist blamed it on a “billing mistake”. Their mistake, MY problem. When I said I would check with my insurance he was quietly hostile telling me to “go ahead, but you’ll risk an audit and they’ll take all the money back and you (me) will have to pay it”!!!I’ve never been so fiercely treated in a customer service situation. Bye-bye good riddance Rite-Aid. 😡Nobody likes to be sick. Nobody likes to need a prescription. Having been in both places recently, I visited this pharmacy to pick up the prescription. Right from the moment that I walked into this bright, clean, immaculate pharmacy, I was greeted warmly, offered assistance in a caring way and felt appreciated. Everyone I encountered was kind, and professional. I left after quickly receiving my prescription feeling appreciated and cared for.

Had been in multiple store recently with a broken leg on crutches. This was one of the only stores that associates asked if they could be helpful with me getting items for the holidays. Multiple employees asked if I needed assistance and one helped carry things out to the car. I appreciate people like this and wish the world had more like them in it.

Rite Aid is my favorite store to get my prescriptions. The Pharmacists are the best.The employees are helpful when I need to find an item. A great store to go too.

Pharmacy is awful! They do not know how to set up medication auto refills to pick up on the same date each month. After several requests to fix the situation they were not able to correct it...it was wrong EVERY SINGLE MONTH. Had to switch to another pharmacy. I gave them one star because 0 was not an option in this review.

Called the pharmacy and dealt with Melissa who was very short, repeatedly talked over me when I had questions. Furthermore, kept changing her answers when I asked questions as if she didn’t truly know the answer, when she should have just asked someone else. Very disappointed, go to literally any other pharmacy

The manager who is a woman I was extremely rude, not a people person, and bad at doing business. I would hurry up and fire her immediately. You do not want someone like this running your store.

Krystal should not be entrusted to manage a lemonade stand. I'm sure her incompetence is not her fault, but it is the fault of the Rite Aid for the error in allowing a lying ineffectual to represent them- 09.04.2021email provided by 'owner' no longer exists. (see photo) 09.05..2021
