they never have enough charged\operative electric shopping carts. I sat & waited for over a half hour for one & never got one‼️I have arthritis joints & it is enough of a walk from the bus stop. Without having to push one of those heavy carts made even heavier by groceries‼️around the store, & then people don't respect disabled people, cutting them off. leaving carts in the way while wandering off to gossip with someone they know.

Beware, the East Lansing Meijer is selling their refrigerated probiotics that expired 3 months past the expiration date.They are doing so at a price $13 over the price marked.I shop the Mason Meijer more than EL but use this location quite often.The lady at the service counter was helpful enough but there was an effort to point out that I was wrong about the price of the product.However, I had double checked so I asked for a manager and asked him to come with me and look at what I was stating. As I showed this to him, it was clear he was irritated by my complaint and attention to detail.I told him that this was not the first time for incorrect pricing and said that people are growing tired of it and will continue to complain even more, which clearly disgusted him.I then stated that next time if I have $100 worth of items I will return every "damn" item. Damn is a synonym of darn and I occasionally use that word and the lack of service that seems to be the norm at this store, was very frustrating.Well, he got triggered by the word damn and raised his voice saying "that's it, you're swearing at me so you have to leave or I'm calling the police. Don't come back."I said ok but every "damn" item and I'll be back.I can only assume he's elitist and/or butt-hurt. Likely both.At the Mason store we see the managers on the floor interacting with customers and even stocking shelves. I go into this East Lansing store often and have never seen this guy.People are getting frustrated with poor service in so many different areas of business. I know they're going to make mistakes but, they're not trying to make it right when they do.Will we keep lying down while prices skyrocket or fight back?

We came from flint. Stop to look at their toy department. They were very clean and friendly. Are cashier Don really got put to test. He was called to service us 3times and to clean up a spill we made and never once complained. we couldn't understand how anybody could be so positive after that 😁👍

It’s Meijer. The store is newer and nice on the inside. There’s a good selection of non-grocery items but the grocery section, particular the produce section, really leaves something to be desired. On multiple trips I have been surprised to only see one kind of tomato available to purchase (except for pre-packaged ones), almost no onions of any kind, and a very small selection of fresh herbs and spices.I’m sure it’s not unique to this Meijer but I don’t care for the layout. There is refrigerated and frozen stuff all along the side wall of the grocery section, plus a huge section in the back of the store. If you don’t want to backtrack, you have to have your cold items get warm in the cart while you shop.Checkout is actually pretty quick at this Meijer. There are only a couple non-self checkouts but they move quickly. There are also a ton of self checkouts. You’ll never have to wait too long to check out.

Never been before but I was blown away by the size and quality. Way better than Walmart! I got jeans and shirts for $20 each. A great liquor selection too.

Smaller but still well stocked. Makes it easier on my legs. Staff is very friendly and go out of their way to help. New coffee shops have open near them so shop and get some great coffee.

Amazing when they watch you at self checkout help you at self checkout then proceed to see my receipt and check my bag at the door although I've been watched since getting to self check out. It was great not to mention the fresh pineapple I bought was spoiled.

I dislike the new 2023 layout. I want to spit when I've been out of other store options.They pretty much quit carrying the gluten free items I need. Not because they didn't sell but only 1 sale was made the person bought all 6 items on the shelf. 4 customers came by and we talked about how/where we could get our gluten free & potato free bread instead. The only bread I could eat has never appeared in the store again. So instead of spending $800-$1000 a month at Meijer's, I shop at Kroger. They listened to my problem and solved it.

We tried the scan & go option (since we love it at Sam's Club), but it's not a good system at Meijer. The self scan employee was short & rude. Door greeter was kind though.

Buyer Beware!I've noticed with increasing frequency that the prices in the computer system are NOT matching the prices of on-sale items as advertised on the shelves. I've caught mistakes as I was doing the self-checkout a handful of times now, which makes me wonder how many other people have unwittingly paid full price for an item listed as on sale.Please pay attention when checking out at this Meijer, or better yet take your business to Kroger, where I've never had this problem.

A really good store, loads of stuff available. But the stuff in the 'fresh' section gets over pretty quickly each day. Also, the supply for Meijer's own yogurt (without flavour, whole milk) and french beans are pretty intermittent.

The layout of this store did not flow well compared to other Meijers I have been to. It seemed to lead to over congestion and having to backtrack to find where certain items were. Also, the stocking was not great. Ignoring items that just weren't stocked at all (it happens, I get it), items were stocked in completely incorrect areas. The peppers were where vinegar was supposed to be. Vinegar was where pickles were supposed to be. And bagels were in an entirely different aisle from what overhead signs indicated.The shining light was the cashier, who was super friendly and bagged things very well. However, I won't be returning to this particular Meijer unless they change the layout and getting more accurate with their stocking.

Parking lot cart returns are almost completely full. Produce section is a pathetic joke especially the potatoes, Russet and yellow potatoes are completely sold out and the red potatoes that they have are moldy

this is my favorite meijer ever!!! i’ve been here loads of times and have never had a bad experience. it just has a good vibe! there’s loads of merchandise and the store has amazing hours. what more could you want?! especially good alcohol section. also tons of local produce and vegan items.

They said they are open until 7pm on Christmas Eve. Turned out that they shut the register around 6:50 and they blocked people from entering, creating a jam at the entrance, which could be dangerous if emergency happened.Plus, they are not entirely honest about the prices. I bought some cans of chips after reading about using mPerks would make them $1.49 each, but at the register I found out that it was $1.99 each even with the mPerks information given. Liars.

Another must place to shop in East Lansing. You can find fresh vegetables and flowers here. They also have "rotisserie" baked chicken. must try.

It is a market favourite, where many consumer products etc. are available,I visit several it times a week.Free parking spaces are available, and parking spaces designated for handicapped persons are available.I recommend visiting it.

I got distracted at the self checkout when I saw a familiar face. After getting my groceries and driving home I realized that I had left my 2 packs of ground beef. I immediately called Meijer customer service and was told to let them know what happened next time I visit Meijer and bring my receipt. Well I drove back up there immediately because I needed that ground beef for dinner. The employee at the self checkout remembered me and knew exactly what had happened. What a relief.

Do not grocery shop here, unless you're going to be the one to check the expiration date of EVERY SINGLE ITEM you pick up! I went into the store last Friday (01/12), and bought over $400 worth of groceries for my family.Well, two items now I had to throw away due to the expiration dates having already passed! One item expired early December! The last time I checked, it was supposed to be the employer that clears shelves of expired food, not continue to allow customers to purchase it. Now I keep checking everything that I had bought from there before I use it. I will NEVER purchase food from this location again! You want to charge the highest amount for expired food. I will keep my business at Kroger from now on!

FIRST: I would like to point out ALL the 5 star ratings you guys gave yourselves in the past few weeks to overrun the 1 star reviews…not gonna work for ANYONE who actually has been in your store recently.Absolutely horrible! Try to order delivery on the app from this store is 100% POINTLESS they NEVER have anything in stock. But for some reason the app won’t let me switch stores even though this particular meijer is not the closest meijer to my house. I’ve contacted support and they did nothing .Absolutely ridiculous I will never shop here again. I have been and will continue to tell everyone I know to stop shopping at the East Lansing Meijer. I grew up going to this store and I used to love it but I’m never going back. Stop pretending to be something your clearly not
