Shopped the store and was ready to check out, only self serve lanes were open. I asked the employee if anyone was available to ring (I am visually impaired). The employee said no. I left my cart and exited the store. I then contacted their customer service and received an email in return thanking me for letting them know a d thanking me for being a Fresh Thyme customer. Really underwhelmed by the customer service all around

Great prices, excellent choices for a smaller size store. I really like the fact that I don't have to walk a million miles inside this store to find what I want. The size is great. Quality of what I buy is outstanding. No junk in the food, no GMOs and lots of local organic. Great grass-fed milk and dairy products even unhomogenized. Natural living department contains outstanding vitamin and body care selections. They just had a big sale in there natural living department. I had chosen my items ahead of time and put they put my bag on a shelf to store until the sale started. Such an awesome service. My bag was ready when I got there to pick it up during the sale, everything was in stock, and I was very pleased.

A nice fresh market to buy healthy food. As with many of this type of market, it is pricey. They have a nice staff, convenient location...decent selection. Try their brand name foods, they're really great quality.

Everything is Always Fresh, They have a very wide Array of Vegetables & Fruits too! Daily Made - Pressed Juices. A Neverending aisles of Dried Fruits, Chocolate covered Nuts & Pretzels ~ Yummm! Super Personable yet Very Helpful Staff. Fresh Thyme ~ Y0U GUYS R0CK!!! 🎸

They had mostly the same products and the exact same brands as other supermarkets in the area, but 20 percent more expensive. Great selection of fresh produce though

I and my family have been shopping at this store for almost 20 years (before some of their employees were born) but since they started the Self Check Out I, my family and my colleagues rarely go to this place and I recommend it to others not go! Employees at self-checking look at all your items one by one and think that all the people who go there are thieves!!! It’s been a few times this issue has happened to me and my Coworkers and we really are sorry for this place to have such a weak management Because we have never seen such disgusting behavior anywhere. I don't even need your special discounts and with the two months profit of my business I can buy your entire shop! Before you judge customers as thieves, try to understand who they are and where they come from.

They are unfortunately not following the return policy outlined by the company. Had receipt and unopened item. Was willing to accept cash or store credit but told that it could only be refunded to the card (not an option for me). Forced to keep the item. Asked if there was any other way to return it or if I could speak to a manager and was told that she was a manager and nothing could be done to rectify the situation. Will not be shopping there again unless it is rectified by the company and will be spreading this information among friends here in East Lansing (will update if this is corrected by customer service).

Another customer had mentioned it in the reviews, but I'll repeat it again. The employees, especially in the front of the store, are ridiculous. I stopped by today to make a return, and the short brown lady on register 2 kept asking me berating questions and giving me attitude and weird looks about why I was returning products. Get a life, lady, and maybe brush up on the customer service skills.

Although Fresh Thyme Market had a decent selection of quality produce, I gave them 2 stars because they did not have actual cashiers working their checkout lanes. I begrudgingly used the self checkout, but will avoid ever returning to this store because of this lack of basic service.

Always a very clean organized store with a plethora of things to choose from both in the Ready-to-Eat Cafe area, in grocery or in the vitamin department there are very well trained staff in the vitamin department particularly Janet who's been in the industry for about 40 years and used to own her own store she's a wealth of information and can assist you with any of your needs

This is a wonderful grocery store with many specialty items.My primary reason for visiting is the excellent deli counter with Boar's Head meats and cheeses. A well-appointed meat and fish counter with awesome house made sausages, and a rotating array of fresh sea food is also a draw. Also present is an outstanding produce selection, and very nice selection of bulk dry goods.They also have very good prepared sandwiches and pizzas at the deli, a salad bar, and a large selection of interesting frozen foods.The store has many vegan and gluten free food items, but you may have a hard time finding certain other items that I consider standard grocery items.

I’ll take my business to Whole Foods in the future. After driving 40 minutes for a specific item in the deli I discovered that department doesn’t open until 10am and no one was willing to help me. Rather than wait around for another 30 minutes for that one item I put all of my items back and left. I’ll drive a little further to WF- at least I can get consistent service there.

I don’t know if they’re under new management or what but the produce here is AWFUL anymore! It’s all moldy and wilted. Last Sunday I couldn’t find even ONE bell pepper that didn’t resemble a wrinkled raisin and they were all mushy. Their apples are unfit for deer bait. Even the stuff that spears good seems to rot within two days. Cauliflower, good luck finding done without black mold on it. Also, they went to all self checkout. Im just done with this place. I’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars over the years here and now I’ll be moving on to the other farmers market on the west side of one of the other produce sellers in Lansing.

I'm glad we have a store that has a nice verity of interesting products. I have never seen so many different kinds of chips! Some made with ingredients I've never even heard of before. There is almost always a good deal on Shrimp. And the bulk section has a lot of options. It's never too busy so it's easy to move around in. I also appreciate their organic produce selection. Prices are always pretty reasonable.

Great selection, great prices, and beautiful produce. I love their selection of organic foods, and their salad bar is awesome. They also have many flavors of kombucha, which I love, and in general I always find something new to try when I go!

I went there from work at noon hoping to pick up a sandwich and some fruit. After the lady next to me took my place in line (the line went all the way into the aisle and she said she was at the end of the line and I was not even in line) for the self scanning, I looked for a cashier at noon on Wednesday. No cashiers, self scan only. Long lines for self scanning. I left without purchasing anything because scanning is not my job! Other than that, the store displays looked nice.

Good local market. They used to have one of the best selections of micro-brew beers. They are still pretty good, but no longer the best in the area. They also used to have great produce and a great butcher. Things have seemingly been tightened down, no longer willing to make as many specialty cuts as they used to 10 or so years ago.Overall, decent prices albeit they are a little in the expensive side. One thing that is cool is their little odds and ends from fresh thyme.

Prices are higher than other grocery stores! Best for organic, vegan, kosher items. Staffs are helpful and friendly. vegetables are always fresh. lots of freshly baked bakery items, handmade soaps! I don't forget to buy a bag of 2 lb shrimp for around $10 when they are on sale. Good place. Thanks for the free sample lozenges! My 3 year old son loved them!

First time here, really impressed. The best comparison I could make is a somewhat downsized Whole Foods but generally better prices! Outstandingly friendly and helpful staff. Well thought out services, like at the deli counter. You give your order, they take your name and you go on shopping. When you return later, it is sitting in a refrigerated area ready for you to pick up and continue. I wish I lived closer to them as I would be a very regular customer.
