My daughter's medication got sent to CVS got filled and when running insurance they said didn't have updated insurance, she didn't have with her so said she would be back. I had an extra card and took it in for her when she went to let pharmacist know pharmacist spoke to previous person who tried running insurance and she told pharmacist medication was placed back and would need to be refilled. My daughter was standing there and pharmacist spoke as if she wasn't present and her posture and her voice sounded irritated about the situation and turned around and answered a phone call.

Had a quick stop in for some makeup and drinks before a wedding. Products were well stocked and priced. The employee was friendly and greeted me when I walked in. Prices are ok, but that normal for a drug store. The parking situation is not great, but walking to it is fine if you are in the area.

I have for the most part love this pharmacy. I am a little upset no one called to tell me they can't get one of prescriptions in. Why didn't you call me?I've been waiting for a week.

Location is super convenient and they're usually well-stocked. Minus is the CVS pricing , which is terrible, but if you have the Extra Care card you can score some good deals now and then. Plus is they have a little lottery machine for scratch offs! Pharmacy has been solid for shots and prescription pick-ups. Had good success here in fall 2023 with vaccines.

Customer service regarding vaccinations is awful. We made appointments three days ago only to show up and find out that they ran out of them the night before. They didn't bother calling to cancel or reschedule an appointment that was happening in the late afternoon. They even sent us reminders with check-in links an hour before the appointment so that we could check in when we got there. Had to deal with game day traffic and pay for parking only to show up and be told they didn't have them available. Had we known the vaccines weren't available, we wouldn't have come in.Now, I get that the appointments are done on the website and the regular employees might not be able to affect those, but they do have access to what appointments are happening that day and they all knew that they ran out the night before. A simple courtesy call to those affected so that they didn't have to come in to campus on a game day should have happened. It was a waste of time for us to go there and a waste of time for them to have to deal with.Moral of the story, don't schedule appointments at this location as they do not care about your time and will not tell you if they don't have what you're scheduling for until you get there.

Usually a little to no wait at the pharmacy but tonight it is over an hour. Management needs to consider proper staffing to shorten wait times to something reasonable.

Abysmal customer service from the Pharmacy. I showed up in the drive-thru window 12 minutes from closing time trying to get a subscription filled for painkillers after waiting 20 hours at Sparrow to get my appendix removed. I know showing up 12 minutes from time is not ideal but I can't control when I'm discharged from the hospital following that type of operation. The lady at the drive-thru(white with short brown hair) claimed she would be unable to fill my subscription since "they were closing soon". When I mentioned that I just gone through surgery, she says "Well the prescription safe has a 15 minute timer on it and we are 12 minutes away from closing". So this pharmacist, knowing I went through an invasive surgery and was going through pain, willingly decided to reject my prescription because she wanted to leave 5 minutes earlier. This isn't the type of culture this pharmacy has cultivated in the past 4 years I've been using it, so I'm still shocked at how a pharmacist can be so inconsiderate of the pain a patient is going through, especially when they work in the medical field.

I had some trouble last night getting an emergency prescription filled (my usual pharmacy was closed already, and then when I got to CVS I found out the company doesn't take my insurance), and the young man and woman who were working the pharmacy that night were extremely helpful. They aided me in transferring the prescription over to another pharmacy that was still open and does take my insurance, and they were very polite and helpful through the whole process while I know I was a mess. Thank you!

I've been coming to this pharmacy for years now. Up until this point, I had minimal issues. They ran out of my medication over a week ago now, and every time I call to check (since the app is inaccurate), when I finally get through to someone they are incredibly rude. While trying to explain the situation, I was responded to with "Well if you would let me talk", even though I was trying to provide relevant information. Whoever is answering the phones is very snippy and rude, when I am simply trying to make sure I get a medication I had to go cold turkey of for a whole week due to CVS's mismanagement. This has been a truly awful experience for me, and I may have to consider changing pharmacies.Edit: Apparently there was a manufacturing error, so not so much blame should be put on the pharmacy. However, I do think the communication on their end could have been handled much better, as being aware of the manufacturing error right away would have given me more time to find another pharmacy and resolve my issue.

Tried to get an appointment online for Covid Booster. Was told to sign in when I was at CVS. Apparently they “don’t have any appointments at a CVS near me”. It’s what I was told online. What’s the deal….I never even put a date in and CVS is 4 blocks from my house?

Terrible experience here this weekend. I purchased an umbrella at self checkout and left the store. The shift manager chased me out of the store and accused me of stealing the umbrella. She made me follow her back into the store until other customers told her she was wrong. She never even bothered to ask for a receipt. Absolutely humiliating experience. I recommend any young people in EL to avoid this place unless you want to be embarrassed and scammed into paying twice.

We have lived in the area 1 year and have had many prescriptions filled at this CVS location. They have always been very helpful and positive both on the phone and in person. Our prescriptions are filled quickly and accurately. This store should be used as an example on providing outstanding customer service for all other CVS locations.

Pharmacy lost my prescription as well as put the first one under the wrong birthday(which is why they couldn’t find it I’m guessing. )Also made me announce what medication I was on which made me uncomfortable considering it has to do with mental health issues. Obviously not a big deal but that’s the second time I’ve had to announce to the pharmacy in front of people of the meds I’m on (because they can never find it) when that simply isn’t necessary . Lady was Pretty unprofessional and just had negative experience overall

Not sure what Kyle K is talking about... I've been coming to this CVS since I started my undergrad in 2007. There are always polite, quick, and personable. They work with my physician to make sure my scrips are refilled and call me right away if there are any issues. They even stayed late once to fill three scrips for me right at close. Highly recommend this place.

Don't get passport photos here: image quality is low (you can easily see the pixels) and they don't always meet the official requirements. Please consider going to USPS or Fedex instead for a better quality photo for nearly the same price.Mine was slightly off-center and the background reflected off the canvas. The office that was verifying my paperwork warned me that the photo may not be accepted by the government. They also told me that other applicants have had issues with CVS photos in the past.

The brunette girl with bangs and a ponytail was unbelievably unhelpful with my amazon return. First she didn’t even know how to help me and when she finally got the scanner she needed, she wouldn’t even take my package. The place is usually a disappointment in the customer service department so honestly it was my fault for thinking it would be even slightly better this time around.

If I could give the pharmacy a negative review I would! This was my 3rd and final visit I will ever make to this pharmacy. The techs were rude per usual, I figured the third time might be different, it wasn't. They did not seem like they wanted to be there nor did they want to serve me as a customer. So after leaving I called the pharmacy to have my prescription that was already filled there sent to Meijers and was "kindly" notified that I should have called Meijers to have them request the prescription vs having the CVS tech do HIS JOB and have it sent there via Meijer's request. Now don't get me wrong the front counter employees have always been amazing to me, so I will continue to go here if necessary, but never will I venture back towards their horrid Pharmaceutical department. Never again, please go somewhere else, unless you like being harassed and treated like scum for filling a prescription.

i don't normally leave reviews of places, but i had my first covid test there today, and just wanted to say that the woman who walked me through the testing in the drive thru (im sorry i didn't catch her name), was SO helpful and patient with me. I really appreciated her and the time she gave to walk me through the test. Thank you.

Very disappointed experience. I called earlier to check if I have to drive here for my scheduled PCR test, and a male answered that I could just come in the store if I don't have a car. Then I got there, and was only to be told that I have to be in a vehicle to get tested. THANKS FOR THE ACCURATE INFORMATION!

I work at grocery store and cause of cases spinking lately I was worried if I Have corona But I dont have car so I asked question to one of the pharmacist and he stepped back and saying you have to leave now and appoint online. i am not sick or anything. that was rude of him

I use to hate this place to the point of having to leave a negative review and complain to corporate - and they actually fixed the problem, they really did. For your convenience needs, I would now recommend this location above any other in the downtown E.L. District. It's clean and the the night staff is spot on good people now. I'd pick it over any other convenience location - I couldn't say that a year ago but I can say it now. Good job. With that being said, they usually have what I'm looking for. Open 24 hours and a more mature, experienced group at night that is friendly and helpful to everybody, not just a select few.

This CVS is great. Their service, product selection and prices are second to none! As a drugstore, it has everything I need and I'm in this store at least once a week!
