We spend 5 months each year in the Durand area at a nearby seasonal campground. We love shopping at the Riverside Market in Durand. It's one of the 'biggest ' little full service markets we've ever had the pleasure of shopping in. And we love taking full advantage of the weekly sales items!

Was near town and stopped in for extras. I have to say the best service I have ever had. Deli counter they were helpful...the potatoe salad was good price and tasty...the checkout lines were fast and friendly...and they had people at the registers..4 of them..great place to shop.

Love Riverside. It's close I don't think their prices are bad and for the most part the employees are very friendly and always willing to help you if you can't find something. Rarely is the stock low. Can count on them to have what you need. If you plan to buy an item they don't carry they will try and get it in. Have items you wouldn't think a small store would carry. Clean, friendly and efficient. I can't say enough good things about Riverside.

Best small town Market I have ever been to i have been coming here for about 13 years now never found a place better a little bit pricey but it's all Michigan food completely local for the most part cigarettes are the cheapest here than anywhere in the area

Love Riverside. The hometown feeling of a small town store has not been lost here. Most of their prices are pretty good, once in a while a tiny bit higher but they still gotta make money to pay their bills. I can get what I want and need, if you buy something often that they don't carry just let them know and they will try to get it in stock for you. Employees are friendly and helpful. Riverside is a big supporter of the community of Durand and the surrounding area.

11-14-23 grabbed some deli sliced roast beef (great quality deli meats) and a slice of carrot 🥕 🍰 cake today. Definitely pick up a slice the next time you're in. It's so delicious.Always great produce. The pies and desserts 🍨 are tasty as well. Great customer service. They attempt to always take the groceries out to the car for every one.( Today 6.19.23) great selection of soda on sale. (Today 8-21_23) great deli selection. Picked up some lunch meat and potato salad. The potatoe salad is always fantastic.

The staff is friendly and their fried chicken, coleslaw and broccoli salad are to die for! I had them cater my small wedding and everyone was raving about how much they loved the food. Also got sheet cake for the reception that was super good. The food was fresh, hot and on time!

Since moving to Durand we love going to this market the deli food is so good and the donuts and cakes and pies are just amazing. It's hard to pick just one. The Reuben sandwich is my lunch fave every single time we go

Seems to be not as clean lately. Some of the employees are rude but most are ok. The deli department is the worst. I had given it a 5 stars before but it's going down. Fresh meat looks good until you get it home and find the fat was all turned to the bottom of the package. Out of a pack of 4 semi boneless spare ribs, I drained off the grease into a 17 ounce can, a half inch from the rim! I will drive the extra 25 miles to go to Monticello's and get GREAT meat that's not all grease.

Friendly. Well appointed smaller neighborhood store. A little pricier than your big box options. However, not nearly as crowded, not nearly as depleted, 5 min from home, and workers who smile. Totally worth the few extra cents to support this great local business.

This is a really great grocery store! They have amazing deli salads, fresh bread, buns and deserts (among other things). The staff is friendly and helpful and their sales are usually really good. A bonus is promoting small business too, instead of giving our money to the big chain stores.

Somehow found a store more expensive than Carl's in Perry. Unlike Carl's it isn't creepy and it's nice inside and Stocked well. It has most of your needs in town if you want to pay the price. Employees are always friendly and if you don't feel like traveling riverside is here in Durand!

Never have what I need and the Lettuce is Wilted all the time they sell cheap toilet paper ECT. I wish a smaller grocery store would come back by Hungry Howies. Sorry for your Loss

I love Riverside. They are our hometown grocery store! All the staff are courteous and helpful, kind and well-groomed. The bag guys will actually walk your groceries out to your car if you need help. This is a very classy business, and everything is always clean. The prices might be a little higher than discount stores, but we don't have to leave town to get groceries. And they can order and just about anything you ever wanted.

This store is just the right size, sale items make it worth the trip. Bottle return could be expanded and emptied more often. I shop here and the Holly Market, both great places if you shop on a budget!
