The staff isn't ALWAYS the most friendly, the night staff by self check out is often rude and pushy but again, definitely not nearly as bad as Walmart in Adrian. Id rather drive 20 hours for a NICE Kroger than the Walmart in Adrian even with the iffy night workers they are least aren't prejudice here. Otherwise prices are great, produce is great and they have awesome deals. MOST of the cashier's are sweet, they do hire plenty of school age kids and train them very well. Id definitely recommend this Kroger.

It really surprises me how this store is so consistently unprepared for daily operations. They're always totally out of a few very basic items. I don't think I've ever seen a grocery store that can't keep heavy cream, mouthwash, chicken, or potatoes on the shelf at the same time. I don't know what the issue is, but it's the worst grocery store I think I've ever been to. Also don't order grocery pickup from here. They will replace items that are out of stock with something nonsensical and they will still charge you for it.

It's one of the smaller krogers but you couldn't ask for friendlier people working there. This is my favorite kroger because they always have what I need and I get treated great by everyone that works there.Try it you won't be disappointed not with customer service anyway

Great staff, very friendly. BUT. The reason for the 2 stars is because this is a very tiny kroger that is outdated and inadequate for the community. You first walk into the cart lobby and it is dirty, smells, and the doors are small and feel like you can’t even fit your cart through. They have packed as many shelves in the store as possible so it feels claustrophobic right when you walk in.

Kroger is the best place to shop! I don't care for Meijer, way too much walking around to find what you need. The employees at Kroger have always been helpful and friendly!

Both of these stars are for the employees of this Kroger, they're excellent, kind, helpful, and incredibly patient. Kroger as a company however needs to be stopped when it comes to these prices, killin people out here.

Really need to hire better people inquired about ordering a egg beater product a year ago. Said yes bring in. Finally took bar code in a few weeks ago for attitude. Today my credit cards only give me trouble at this store and I shop allot. And use them allot. So I told lady they need to clean the scanners. Got attitude. Really thinking about driving 40 minutes away instead of getting negative attitude. And sorry store.

I guess they decided I didn't need a bag for the bacon? I've only done 2 pickup ordered EVER at this kroger and each time have had an issue. This time it was my bacon literally being thrown in my car (I watched the guy do it) and last time it was my fresh fruit underneath my RAW chicken... and yes the chicken packages often drip the juice out of the packages so I did not eat the fruit as I didn't want myself or my kids getting sick. Have tried calling to complain but can never get through to anyone. I will be coming in the store to complain. Also got told I can get a paper receipt? I have always gotten a print off receipt at ANY other kroger I have gone to. Do better.

People are very friendly and helpful. Store it's clean and well organized.The staff go the extra mile to help me find things or to check out or to reach things I can't. The Dundee kroger has items other stores don't.

For being a smaller Kroger, they still had most of the products that you would find in one of their larger stores. The checkout lined moved fast, which is nice for people who want to go in and get out quickly. It's nice that you can shop online and have them do the shopping for you, and bring it out to your car. The only disadvantage of that is when it comes to fresh fruits and veggies. You get what they pick. Sometimes, the freshness of the strawberries and other berries get overlooked. Nice experience overall though

I deliver Instacart orders and my customer needed a 15ib bag of dog food. There wasn't any on the shelf and only one 5ib bag.. I asked Jake and he and Tyler promptly found a 16ib bag in the back for me. They were so happy to help I promised I'd give them a shout out. Dundee Kroger has staff that are willing to help by going an extra mile.

Management is rude, always short staffed, the lady who came from her lane to help us in self check out stated that we couldn't redeem bottle return slips from another store....Customer Service helped us SOOOOOOO I dont appreciate being lied to. Will from now on be shopping in monroe if this is how I will be treated.

I ordered a custom birthday cake and received a confirmation email. When I went to pick it up, they did not have it and told me that no decorator was present.The person in front of me had the same issue so it's not an isolated incident.Huge hassle. Stay away.

Sadly the village is growing and this tiny kroger can't keep up. Always out of stock of things we need and understaffed. Workers are friendly and doing their best but unfortunately their corporate overlord isn't doing enough to support them or the community.

The store is going through a remodel, so everything is a bit of a mess. Inventory has been down for quite a while - long before construction began. I am hoping the remodel will improve product quality, inventory, and overall cleanliness. The cashiers are friendly which is the only reason I bother to stop in there.

Absolutely the worst customer service at the Dundee Kroger, they argued that corned beef was not on sale, despite me showing them it was. The last said I'd have to wait to talk to another lady about a rain check. Once the other lady came up to the counter, the crabby lady said "deal with her". They would not give me a rain check even though the day prior my dad got one. They stated they dont give rain checks. They have lost a life long patron. I will be shopping at Bushes, where the customer service is excellent.

Nice employees, if only there were enough to properly staff the pharmacy, prescriptions take two days and they still don't start filling them until you come back, hire more pharmacy employees or I'll take my medical care somewhere that can do it in a timely mannerUpdate July 24th, 2023, a year later, still horrible service times, there is still not enough employees, after being put on hold twice, it rings back to them, the third time they hang up on me. Answered the phone with an attitude and explanation that there was only one tech and one pharmacist on duty, but said she did not hang up on me. Just want my prescriptions transferred at this point! They didn't respond to Walgreens calls and I can't do the transfer when I speak with kroger pharmacy tech on duty, Walgreens has to call back rather than them doing what the customer needs to get their medications. My insurance no longer accepts kroger pharmacies, so we are stuck waiting again!

I'm not a fan of the new layout of the store itself. It's been changed probably, around three or four times, in the past few years. However, this was basically a complete remodel, so it aggregates me, that I can't find anything. That being said, I'm giving a five star rating, for their outstanding customer service. From the pharmacy, to the customer service desk, to the associate who had to help me with the self check out. You couldn't ask for better customer service.

Love the sales Kroger have, the Whohoo! Specials and nice selection of GF items. (They also have great cashiers.)I had an especially nice visit this past Friday. I locked my keys in my van(which wasn't nice) but the lady at the service desk let me put my ice cream in one of the freezers so it wouldn't melt and then Angelo, the Assistant Manager came to my rescue and helped me unlock my van. Now THAT is service! Thanks Dundee Kroger!

I'm changing my review. It's been several years and this particular Kroger has gone down hill, big time. It doesn't help that Kroger in general has gone down hill. Their ridiculous skeleton staffing hours and the unwilling to help the good employees because "they'll catch up" is extremely unfair to the employees. Red flags 🚩 of businesses that are going down hill is not spending money on uniforms and convincing employees it's just for their comfort. You speak to Kroger employees they're cranky, depressed, tired, over worked, they are constantly working under the conditions in fear of getting fired because they are given a 10 hour job and expect it to be done in 3 hours. It's impossible to get something done right and safely without cutting corners. This company can do better but they are a tyrant. Give those departments more hours to get the jobs done right and you might actually find yourself making more money as a company. People are willing to work for less if they are treated right and with compassion. Act like those people have a life outside of Kroger, and Kroger shouldn't be their life.

4th of July sale went to get steaks none there. Only one person in meats said that he could not cut steak and said come back tomorrow. This is bull. Talking to manager he said come back tomorrow. Can not wait till we get a different grocery store. Maybe when they are loosening customers and jobs it will change.

Never stocked, ton of teen aged staff that stands around chatting or on phones blocking isles in groups. Every possible day it's same except late friday nights! Morning time when adults are there NOTHING is stocked. Three times on a friday after 7 this place gets stocked and that's great to know and manage. 2 stars for one day I can get in and grab almost everything I need.

Horrible! First of you walk in no one greets you. It smells like a nursing home!!! It's FAT TUESDAY and they have NOTHING ready in one of the busiest pastry day in Michigan they where not prepared at all! Then when you ask the flavors they snap and tell me out they just got there they don't know anything.. like seriously I worked for Krogers corporation for 2 an half years and Monroe store 578 would never be Soo unprepared!! The Dundee location should be ashamed just ewww
