I don’t normally leave reviews, but after going to a few bow shops over the years I’ve decided I’m going to make Hales my primary bow shop. I always try to get Kyle as a bow tech when I go there. He’s a knowledgeable and down to earth guy. Always willing to pay attention to little details and fine tune my bow for me, which is appreciated because I’m OCD lol. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to buy a bow or have work done to theirs.

I don't know how, but I consistently find things here that I can't find in the big box hardware stores. And the staff is ALWAYS ready to assist you with whatever you need, which is saying a lot because I do a lot of weird projects. The only thing I would caution against is getting paint made in colors outside of the available paint chips, as I haven't had the best luck with how their software matches colors.

One of the original hometown mom and pop stores with the true value brand. Throughout the years, they have managed to keep up with the times. You will find a friendly and knowledgeable staff that will always ask you if you're finding what you need. They also have just about everything you would expect to find or need from a hardware store. In addition, they also have an adequate fishing and hunting department with a room set up for bow testing. You will also find a RadioShack (in the same building) for any electronic oddities you may need. To the back, they offer key cuts and window screening services. Whatever you need, just ask.

The hardware store is very helpful, the Radio Shack inside I give an A for effort but they don't stock common things like USB-C SD card readers , I know RS is never going to be what it was, I think they would really benefit from stocking common products. The person working in RS tried his best he said he didn't even know what I was looking for existed. Almost everything mobile uses USB-C today. So I have to buy from Amazon or drive to Best Buy.

The staff at this store are always so helpful. Nuts, bolts, paint, yard sprays, they have helped me with so many projects!Great staff in the sporting goods dept. They REALLY know their stuff!

Randy quickly diagnosed a problem I was having with a mower. His passion for customer service was conveyed in his demeanor and the way he quickly took action in servicing my mower. I can’t begin how to express how grateful I am to the excellent staff at Hales. I’m from NC and was in town with a friend who lives locally, for a bow hunting trip. I’m new to bow hunting, but didn’t realize how much I still had to learn. My bow was doing a few things that didn’t seem right, so my friend recommended the staff at Hales take a look at it. Well let’s just say, there were quite a few corrections that needed to be made! Ron Hale took the time, all the way up to the last minute they were open, to make sure I left in good shape! He corrected multiple issues I was having and helped educate me along the way. It was a true example of great customer service and knowledge. If you bow hunt and you don’t go to Hales for your needs, you’re at the wrong place. Again, huge thanks to Ron and his staff! When I return to hunt again, I’ll make sure to continue supporting this incredible family owned business. Even if that is something as simple as some cable wax for my bow. I know if I go here, I’m getting a quality product from a trustworthy source. Thanks again guys!

Mark at this True Value store went above and beyond in helping my mother in law to replace all of the parts of her Weber grill that had been stolen. She was able to get everything she needed in one visit due to some creative thinking on Mark’s part. He made sure she was taken care of!!

Prices are really high, but its expected with this fool Democrat that we call president. But overall it's a really nice local business that sells firearms and archery equipment and fishing tackle as well.

They helped me get exactly what I needed and it was real quick and in a hurry like. I'd recommend anyone doing a project or in need of help going here, also they had some grow equipment, a few toys for the kids and some other fun items, if you got time check them out.

Went to find a faucet screen and Fred the old grey haired man that works there was so disgusting and rude he said if your mom to me in front of the store manager and all the store manager said was walk away Fred. What kind of business is this and that old crazy man still works there what is this business trying to prove I’ve never been to such an unprofessional hardware store in my life I am will make sure I tell everybody about Fred the old manAnd about the manager that lets him talk to the customers that way I will never return nor will any of my friends or family

I dealt with the manager his name is Mark and he is great. Hands on and willing to help in every facet of my shopping experience. This is my hardware store & hunting supply store. I drive one 1/2 hour just too go to this particular store.
