Since we have have been bringing our little dog here, we are always happy with their care for him. Routine visits are always great and when our pup had an emergency or an illness the service is prompt and compassionate. I also appreciate help with questions when I call them and the time they take with advise and questions on his care.

I love bringing my two dogs here the staff is always very friendly and welcoming. The technicians and doctors always answer all of my questions. They truly do care about their clients and go above and beyond for your pet. Highly recommend bringing your pets here. There doggy daycare is the best. My boys come home tired and happy every time. I love that if they need anything updated they can just bring him over and get it all done while they are there. The daycare girls are so nice and always greet us with a smile and they remember your dogs and really get to know them.

We love Dorr Vet! We have been bringing our two dogs here for both vet care and boarding for the past couple of years and we have always been so happy with both services! We have one dog that doesn't do well with new people and situations and the staff at Dorr are excellent with him. It's reassuring to leave for vacation and know that our dogs are well taken care of while we are gone. Can't recommend them enough!!

They are AMAZING! My dog was hit on the road over the holiday weekend. Even with their office being closed, they were quick to respond after hours and get my dog in for a needed surgery in a timely manner and made me feel comfortable with the entire process. Extremely caring, informative, and easy to work with. So unbelievably grateful for them all!Thank you again!

With this first visit, we are cautiously pleased. Their prices are higher than expected, but that is just a sign of the times. There was excellent care for our new pup, Sterling. With all this in mind I feel comfortable transferring health records for my other two dogs to this vet.

Love Dorr Veterinary Clinic. Everyone is so friendly, and kind. Our dog Willow has some anxiety going to the Vet, because of past experiences she’s has had. They are so good with her. It’s always so clean too!

Dr. Kayce and her entire staff are excellent! We've taken 3 doodles (ages puppy to senior) to their office for the past 4 years and have been extremely happy with their care! Dr. Kayce treats her patients, and their "human parents", with warmth and kindness. She has actually seated herself on the floor with my doodles to sooth any puppy anxiety and give them their exams. She is an excellent listener and I completely trust her expertise. The office staff is also very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend their office to anyone!

I have been taking my two dogs to the Door vet clinic for over three years and I utilize both the vet tech services and the grooming and boarding. This is one of the most outstanding establishments I've ever worked with the staff is amazing they take personal care of my pups. Amazingly, responsive, very kind, and I trust them completely with my dogs.

What an amazing clinic and daycare! I love their staff and so does my dog. The fact that the vet clinic and daycare are attached is so awesome. When my pup needs an updated vaccine, daycare just pops him over to the vet. The daycare staff are just wonderful and my pup loves them so much!

My dog ate a hacky sack and needed to induce vomiting. Dr Koski got us in promptly and took care of him very quickly to prevent any complications. Thank you so much Dorr vet. Very personable and knowledgeable staff. Even made sure he was good before we left the office. Great vet. I recommend them to anyone who wants top notch care for your furry friends.

When you don’t care you don’t care. All they seem to care about is the $. I will NEVER bring an animal to them again. The overdosed my dog on phenobarbital and they said labs were normal, but the 2nd opinion said her thyroid was low. They never said a word. They were rude, didn’t really want to give me script for the meds. $155 through them for phenobarbital and $16 at Walgreens. Second opinion said with everything that was going on with the dog, that was way too high of a dose. Pick the most expensive medications every time I brought her in. It tears at your heart strings when your dog is sick, they feed on that. The more they can charge, the happier they are. They had no compassion at all. Done with them!

We have brought our dog to DVC for about 2 years and cannot say enough wonderful things about it! Our pup is loved on during doggie daycare and given great attention and care for any issues or health concerns - which always comes with detailed instruction and explanation of our options. Every employee cares and loves on our pup every time we are in. She gets so excited to come - even if she isn’t feeling well! We are so grateful to be a part of the DVC family!

I have been with this Vet for over 6years with them providing both Vet and grooming services. But in the last couple years it has become all about how much money they can squeeze out of you. Demanding you pay for this or that every 6 months per there policy. Today is the final nail in the coffin. Went to have my dog groomed when I was asked about a fecal sample that was due per there 6month rule which I was never told about before hand. I said I would due it next time. They took my dog and groomed him and when I picked up they added the $40 fecal fee with out my consent, and said I have to pay it. So it will be the last test they will do for my dog. So beware before going here

I've been going to Dorr for 3 years. Have had good service until last week, I brought my Cogi in for an urgent issue and had asked them to do a Prostate test on him as he was experiencing bathroom issues. They had told me that they had done the test and said it came back negative. His health slid down hill fast over the week. To the point where I had to take him to AESH in Byron center. Dorr had him on 3 irrelevant medications, per the ER Dr and He was Diagnosed with a prostate infection called prostatitis. In wich the medication that Dorr had him on was masking his fever, so if you want your dog misdiagnosed go here.My dog almost died because of this.

Don’t care about the well being of your animals, all they want is money. I have had nothing but bad experiences, and bad service they all have horrible attitudes. Don’t recommend. They called to “make it right” and then hung up when I was telling them the truth. Sad you only get decent treatment after you leave a bad review. I don’t leave reviews EVER but I hope this will reach someone before they bring their dog here.

Our dog has been going here from over In Alto for the last few years. We have tried other places and are willing to drive to go to Dorr vet. They are friendly, nice and very good at what they do. Thank you VET STAFF.

Very sad to be writing this review as we have been a patient for many years for our dogs. Recent visit for our new pup and very poor bedside manner from the vet and vet techs. Super bummed on the downhill in the past few years. Will be looking for a new vet home for our pups.

they literally don’t care about your dog, all they care about is money. i worked here in 2022 for my schools vet science class to learn you know veterinary medicine and they threw me in the kennels (which are terrible your dogs are only out for about 20 minutes total a day and get no other interactions) and then fired me when i spoke up! should have pulled my dog out then but sadly i didn’t. she has very terrible anxiety and they threw her on 200mg trazadone as needed. well it made her like a zombie so i stopped using it and about 2 weeks after she starting having focal seizures. i told them about it and showed them videos and they ignored me for about 3 days. then at her vet appointment today they gave her another sedative after i told them how i hate the way she acts on them and they just brushed it off and didn’t care. they also told me not to worry about her seizures unless they become “real ones” needless to say today was our last ever appointment there. also there was blood and pee all over the ground in the waiting area. very unhygienic and a big safety problem.

Zero transparency, the only way they'll give you their honest opinion about treatment based on the assessment/examination of your pet is if you ask. First, they'll throw a bunch of tests/treatment options at you and make you think you need to do them. They won't give you their opinion.. unless you ask. It's poor business practice especially when it comes to healthcare and your budget is the least of their worries. They will take advantage of you.

Our dog recently went in for happy tail syndrome that was split open and bleeding. When we went in for the initial office visit the doctor walked in the room and said "he's going to need a tail amputation", which is the news I expected. What I wasn't happy about is all the different maintenance items they throw at you when in the visit to get your bill up to $300. They ended up doing a skin scrape to see if he had an infection and took blood work. Remember, I was there for his tail bleeding not a rash.Next thing you know we schedule a tail amputation with Dr. Koski. The first red flag when dropping him off that day is the estimate that they gave me at the initial visit was $300 off from the bill I paid. The manager checked me in for my visit and said she was going to look into why there was such a difference in the quote and the actual cost. I ended up paying just over $800. They stated as to why he it was $300 more is because he needed more sedation even though the itemized receipt did not show that. They sent him home with a bunch of medications and set him on his way.Until, a week later from his surgery day his tail amputated split open and bone was exposed. When I called they said I need to bring him in right away and Dr. Koski would fit him into her day. When I get there to drop him off for the second time, the two receptionist at the front desk told me multiple times that they didn't know why but they have been seeing a lot of patients back for stitches falling out too soon. Well that gave me a very sour taste since they charged us so much for the visit than they originally quoted us and they got us for another $400 to get the tail fixed for a second time.Obviously, if a lot of animals are coming back to have to get sedated again to get stitched placed after surgery clearly Dr. Koski is doing something wrong or it's a money grab just so they can get more out of you.Needless to say we will not be returning.

Horrible vet, my niece goes here, her dog started having seizures, she emailed them for two days straight with no answer, and then she brought her god in to see them, they wouldn’t listen to her concerns and told her to google seizures herself, she asked if they could put the dog on something for the seizures, they sent her home with 300mg of Gabapentin to sedate her dog instead of trying to fix the seizure problem or doing any sort of testing. Terrible vet.

We've been using Dorr Vet for 5 years now. Dr. Koski and her team have always treated us wonderfully, from caring for our senior dog at the end of his life to helping our young pup who loves to eat things he shouldn't. Great care, and the pricing is more than fair for the quality.Highly recommended!

He saved my dog Molly's life she ate a rag or a rug or something. He's a very experienced doctor if you're fortunate enough to live in the area I drove 4 hours cuz I wanted someone that knows what they're doing. Thanks again Dr Dorr.
