We just discovered this excellent example of a small town cafe. Stopping by for breakfast just because we happen to be in the area we found far above average biscuits and gravy along with a top-notch skillet breakfast. My wife, who is a bit of a biscuits and gravy snob, said it was possibly the best she'd ever had and possessing a very generous proportion of sausage. The skillet breakfast for me was large and just as generously portioned although my one minor quibble would be it was advertised as hash browns and I would really call them home fries. Either way it was excellent and the prices were extremely reasonable. Service was exceptionally friendly and attentive just everything had the friendly small town feel that I think we all value. We will certainly be making a point of going back!

I can’t put into words how much joy this little cafe gives me!! I forgot to take a picture of my food, but it is the BEST food I have ever eaten. The service is always phenomenal and with a really wonderful homey feel. If you haven’t come here yet I’m begging you to give it a try! You will not be disappointed. My favorite is definitely the Dimondale Classic ❤️ tell them Elisabeth sent you!

Absolutely amazing! The food was excellent! Our server was very friendly, and provided great service! She deserves a kudos. Diamondale is a very small town that you can miss if you blink, but don't miss stopping by MorningLory, you'll miss out on a lot if you do. We will definitely be back!Parking: There is street parking in front and free parking across the street.

This place is amazing. It's adorable inside and the food is incredible. What shocked me the most was the food for the price. My entire breakfast and a coffee was only $11. The staff was awesome and the owner is super nice and personable. I highly recommend going here. This is now my new go to place for breakfast. I can't wait to try the other menu items.

Simply the best hidden gem of a breakfast place in the greater Lansing area. My wife got their biscuits and gravy which were truly the best we had at any local place. Their grilled cinnamon rolls are some of the best in the capital city region. Their prices are amazing too for their large portion sizes.

My wife gave it 5 stars but since this is my account I get to rate it as I want, so 4 stars. The food was good and the service very good. Neither was the best I've ever experienced for breakfast. We were glad Google brought us here! Highly recommend!

The wait staff and the food was great! They were extremely busy but they had awesome hustle! I liked how they worked as a team; 3 different waitresses refilled our drinks. Great teamwork! They have gluten free bread, pancakes and wraps.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options

What a cute, cozy place to stop for breakfast or lunch. The owner and staff were friendly & seemed very familiar with the regular customers. I noticed even the cook came out from the back and delivered breakfast to one of their regular customers, she made the meal to his liking and hand delivered it. I thought that was so awesome!The food was as you'd expect from a small Cafe... simple, fresh, fast and good. I ordered the crispy chicken wrap, which over all had great flavor and was packed FULL of bacon and chicken! Yay! I also ordered the American frys, definitely reccomend trying!Lastly, they make fresh doughnuts to order! What's not to love! Stop in next time your passing through Diamondale!

Cute little cafe! Really enjoyed the breakfast skillet, lots of food, very tasty. The wheat toast was surprisingly good as well, I believe it's made in house. The honey glazed donut was a perfect treat for dessert. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive, I don't think my coffee was ever less than half full. Can't wait to return to try the pie 😁

Absolutely amazing chic diner, the vibe is so amazing and service is fantastic. Delicious food! Quality and flavorful. Great gluten free bread as well. The prices are great for portion size. Highly recommend it. Out of our group of 4 everyone was super pleased.

One of the coolest places ever! Service was 100! Jorja and the rest of the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming. The three of us stopped by from Grand Rapids and we were treated like family. I wish it was closer than 100 miles from us so we could get there more frequently. The biggest game changer of my MorningLory life is the grilled cinnamon roll. Literally changed my whole outlook on what is meaningful and delicious in this world. 🤯 Thanks for a wonderful experience. Hope to get back there soon!!

Love this wonderful village cafe and bakery so close to downtown Lansing, Michigan! I was made to feel welcome, appreciated, and right at home! The food was scratch-made, delicious, very reasonably priced and served with love!

Rustic, local diner with a cozy feel. We were taken care of by Lory herself. Nice sized menu and decent portions. Breakfast potatoes were a little cold and came with onions. Eggs Benny on special that particular day and it was divine! Came out hot, eggs were cooked perfectly and a very generous amount of hollandaise sauce. The homemade breads and cinnamon rolls were the stars of the show! Reasonably priced. A hot spot for local regulars.
