I've shopped here for almost 20yrs & before that remember coming with my grandparents. They've ALWAYS had the nicest staff, the owners are always busy around the store & chatting with customers and the store is always clean & fully stocked. Nice meat & produce selections as well as beer & alcohol too. Always recommend 👍

Best family owned and operated market around. The store is always spotless and stocked. No hustle … no bustle ….The butcher shop provides the best steaks around. And if you have tried one of their homemade pot pies ….you’re missing out.Top that off with carry outs…. And a friendly staff ….. it’s a great shopping experience!

I LOVE my small town grocery store. No mobs, no beggers out front, no druggies in the parking lot. Just a beautiful clean friendly environment. And the shelves are always stocked! Bravo to the staff!!!!

Very manageable size store for grocery shopping. Very personable, helpful and friendly staff. My daughter loves using the child size shopping carts and is delighted when they offer her a lollipop during checkout.

Staff is always very nice and helpful. Store is clean and well kept every time I'm there. Food products fresh. Rotisserie chicken is very good and my wife loves the fresh chicken pot pies they make.

The only two things keeping me from giving 5 stars are 1. High prices 2. Limited selection especially in produce.I really wish I could give more of a 4.5 rating.With that said everything else about this store is wonderful! Great staff, they take groceries out to your car and actually have baggers to bag your food, it's never super busy so it's a pretty quick in and out, super clean and tidy, local and family owned.We shop at Carl's a lot for the convenience of it being close to home and deal with the higher prices for that luxury of avoiding the bigger more congested stores. Especially as we have dealt with the pandemic. We always found social distancing easy here.

Love it there! Best place to go. Lansing stores are too busy. They actually have all cashier's, no check yourself out. Great to have a store like it was years ago. All r so nice and friendly, they will take your groceries to your car if you want.

My girlfriend swore a blood feud with them for some reason. Not sure what that was about. They are fine for me. Conveniently located with the essentials. Decent wine selection. Good village market in my opinion.

Great place to shop. Everyone is friendly and helpful, just like family.They have a good little deli area, rotisserie chicken, and delicious chichen pot pies. The owners and staff are always ready to help you with anything you can't find, will even try to order anything you need if possible. This grocery store and staff are a great part of our community.

Very friendly staff, clean and well laid out store. They have a variety of food, even a tiny gluten free section. It's a Spartan store, so there's good deals weekly. Decent hours, convenient access.

We just moved to Dimondale a few weeks ago. We go to Carl's 2-4 times a week. Everyone that works there is so friendly. The store is hands down the most organized store I have ever been to! We LOVE our new hometown grocery store!

I love this store. Rarely can't find something I need; prices are fine if I factor in not needing to deal with Meijer; staff are friendly and store is well organized. I go out of my way to shop here. The other similar market in Lansing is the Apple Market by Groesbeck. Same vibe.

Hopefully you don't get the older lady checking you out. She's always in a mood. Today I went just to get a few things we needed. I waited in line along with 8 other people, 1 register open. The lady in front of me had finished checking out so I went up to put my stuff on the belt. I was told I had to wait until she had completely left the area before putting my groceries down. I stood back and waiting until she finished digging in her purse and was then told I should have waited four registers down, which is where I was until I saw the cashier hand the lady her receipt. After I was handed my receipt the gentleman behind me came up and started putting his groceries down. He was not told to wait until I left the area and she started putting his groceries into the area where I was still trying to grab my bags from. I will not be returning to this store! If I didn't need groceries so bad I would have left my cart. Can't believe how rude the cashier was!!!

Small town local gem of a store. Never mind the gaurded socioeconomic barriers. Time will allow all things to prosper. This store will do fine for the next 100 years. I like it.

Very cute! Old Timey grocery store. Of course the prices are high more of a convenience charge. Had everything we needed and the cashier was super friendly like an older sister.😁

Visiting Michigan from Arizona, and I must say you have a very clean store, and was actually paper or plastic when I checked out. The young cashier was very pleasant.
