This store has everything. I visited on a weekday afternoon for potting supplies. They had everything I needed for a reasonable price. I even bought a houseplant from their small selection. The people who work there are very knowledgeable and friendly. There's even a shop cat wandering around. There's almost always parking right out front, which makes things easy.

Proprietors were extremely helpful and friendly. Bldg is small, not much room to move . Although it is wheelchair accessible the aisleways are narrow. They accept cash or check only. I hoped I could purchase straw bales and corn stalks but was unable. We had found that at the mill heading into the downtown district. Would I return? Yes!

This little store is so big inside! I purchased my Carhartt bibs here and the price was better than the big box stores. The friendly staff is always super helpful and knowledgeable.

I shopped for socks and boots on my most recent visit. The store has a great selection of high quality socks for the family. I also received excellent advice on boots and the store was willing to order what I was interested in. Very helpful and friendly. Fun place to shop.

Went to dexter mill for dryshod boots. Had a very pleasant conversation with one of the ladies that worked there. She sold me on the boots. Have alot of good quality clothes,dog food and treats.

Dexter Mill is a wonderful place! It’s not just for farmers who buy in bulk. If you’re seeking a way to save big on bird food, then this is for you. I personally buy 50lb bags of whole and cracked corn and mix them with a bag of sunflower hearts and peanuts. WOW!!! Do I attract birds. My Facebook page has more than 4,000 nature photos to prove it… Anyway, Dexter Mill also has plants, fertilizer and many other things you may need. By the way, the folks who work there are amazingly nice and knowledgeable. These folks are among the hardest working people I know. Please shop at Dexter Mill whenever possible…

Super friendly folks here. Helped me manage to get 15 bales of straw in my pickup for my straw bale garden. My three kids running around...no problem. Headed back for water softener salt today. I also get all my pet food here, it's a wonderful shop. Stop by.

All of your outdoor and four legged friend's needs in one place. Great spot to pick up flowers and bushes as well. They also have a fridge/freezer inside by the checkout counter with fresh local meat!

They have a little bit of everything here, including a small but unique selection of plants. I love shopping here for the garden. They also have a good selection of pet food, so if you need to find something other than Purina, this is a great place to look.

The Dexter Mill has the best employees, just a wonderful group of people. Gardening, pet supplies and food are high quality, with many American made products.They have back yard bird feeders and excellant bird feed. A nice array of clothing and outerwear. And feed for all of your farm animals. And it a great place to buy gifts. Seems to be something for everyone.

What a cool, small town kind of feed supply store! We stopped in Dexter as it's my family home town, and the ladies working had so much local knowledge. Pointed us in the right direction for the old family farm, and a great place for snacks. Just cool to know that small town America still exists

GREAT feed and supply place for folks with animals big or small. Also a great selection of bird feeding supplies, nursery (during the growing season), seeds, clothes, etc. They are more than "just" a farm supply place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Remember to look for Leo.

I grew up going to this mill and it is the same today as it was back then. I love this place and the staff. So nice professional and nice which is hard to find now. Even if you do not own any animals I suggest going in still and getting some candy or flowers.

The Mill is exactly what a small town needs. Great place to buy for farm,garden and animals. Staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Great local items too, like honey and maple syrup.

Friendly and knowledgeable employees in a family-like environment. Quality home/garden/farm products. You'll pay a bit more but it supports real people and families in Dexter. They also have a great plant nursery selection of annuals and some perennials in the spring and summer.
