My corgi got a free grooming gift card so we took him in. He came back miserable with severely inflamed skin. We took him to the vet and they said that they’ve had many animals come in harmed by Club Canine’s services. Avoid this place at all costs.

Club Canine is great. We went to the Dexter location with our long-coated German Shepherd. Nancy put our anxious dog at ease, and our shepherd never looked and smelled so good! She was taken at the scheduled time, and this place was professional and clean. I'll be returning!

Club Canine takes great care of our goldendoodle! We’ve been bringing our pup to them for two years and they do an excellent job every visit. He looks and smells wonderful every time we pick him up and we can tell he feels great by how he prances around after a grooming :)

We were recommended Club Canine in Dexter by a friend and the staff seemed nice when we got there. However, I am very upset by what ended up happening during our puppy’s appointment.An hour and a half after his appointment time I go in to check and he’s sitting in a crate and hasn’t been cut yet. Additionally, there is a group of 10 people back there visiting from a school group, which made me uncomfortable and caused his appointment to be even longer with no warning.The website specifically reads, “we groom by appointment so your dog or cat will get the groomers full attention from start to finish.” This clearly is not the case, if my 4.5 month old puppy was stuck sitting in a crate during his appointment. I am wondering what the point of having an appointment is. Also, when talking about what I wanted his groom to look like I was told by one of the employees, “If we cut him shorter than you wanted, it’s just hair, it will grow back.” He ended up being completely shaved which is exactly what I did not want. The groomer who cut him was nice, but I am so embarrassed by what my puppy looks like. Maybe it was an off day for them, but definitely not the right fit for us. Safe to say, we will not be going back.

I brought my husky puppy in after a disastrous flea and tick bath I did on my own that caused severe matting on his neck. I have an older husky and never had this issue so I panicked and found the first place that had availability for me to take my puppy in as he was in the middle of blowing his coat and I knew the mats would only get worse.Club Canine did much more than fix the problem area. When I arrived, the groomer sat with me on the floor for 20 minutes to evaluate my puppy's coat and talked through the different options for fixing the issue and how best to work with my puppy and his dramatic nature. If they suggested something I didn't want, they listened to my requests and reservations and worked to come up with other options.They fixed his coat without issue and with a lot of patience and kept me updated along the way. What started as a last minute reservation has resulted in me finding my puppy's long time groomer.

I took my 9 year old Golden Retriever in for his first professional grooming. I thought he'd be nervous and afraid but we got there and he followed his groomer right back to business! When I picked him up he looked so amazing ! Thank you for taking such great care of him, we'll be back again and again!

My dog’s first grooming experience was wonderful at Club Canine in Dexter. I have a golden doodle that tends to be a bit anxious but the groomer was so calming and knowledgeable that he settled down and enjoyed his spa day! LolHe looked great and smelled great! I woulddefinitely recommend going here!

My Golden was washed, nails trimmed but nothing else for $75.00. I was very disappointed and won’t use them again! Owner had no help and seemed frantic and so did my dog!I suggest Rox’s Ruff cuts on Jackson Road. They are extremely good and very professional and less expensive plus have the much needed help! Dogs are free to roam after cut if dog is friendly!! Or Wash and Wag do it yourself ! They have full services but the tub is very inexpensive and staff is wonderful!

My little 11-year-old Schichon has always been a challenge to groom. He has “trick knees” and doesn’t like anyone touching his legs/feet. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences at Club Canine, and despite Sully acting like a little jerk when getting groomed, they’re always good with him. (I was actually told by another pet salon that I’d need to sedate him if I brought him in again) :/ Also, I carelessly left my credit card there, and they were very prompt to let me know about it, and held onto it for me for about two weeks or so because I was in the hospital giving birth to my daughter lol, so I appreciated that as well.

Chester is our beloved Golden Doodle who has been babied by Carynn and Stephanie. He gets ragged from his outdoor adventures and comes out looking fresh, clean, and oh so happy! He is soft and smells good. He loves seeing the girls. And we love getting our baby groomed at Club Canine!

I will not return. My dog was traumatized after having his nails buffed. He was washed but the haircut was awful. He still shows signs of being hacked and it's been about a month. I'm not sure if she was just inexperienced, but it was not a good visit. I paid $20 more than I normally pay.
