This rite aid pharmacy for some unknown reason will not answer their telephone. I have called on numerous occasions for different reasons, but that doesn’t matter because they just don’t answer the telephone. I called another Rite Aid just to see if this was their standard of operation but that Rite Aide answered right away. I go to this one because it’s close to where I live but I think I’m going to change and just do the drive for better service.

My experiences at this Rite Aid is always peaceful, Rite Aid always have what I need and if they don't they will go out of their way to ask if it's in stock. The location is convenient, the store is clean and neat. If you need help an associate will help and Phillip should be employee of the year at this location. If you ever need something from household products, snacks, drinks, prescriptions and more this is the right stop.

Never answer the (phone) no matter if it's empty nor the time of day, my insurance company and I have been calling for 4days to get my prescription. And everytime i go/went up there it's empty an they tell me my insurance company hasn't contacted them yet🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️ clearly a rabbit hole game of hot potato... I'm in pain and cannot continue this game

Rite Aid has never let me down! Today's visit was good because I came for one item milk but unable to resist all the yellow sales tags I did a quick check up & down a few isles & I found Biotene mouth rinse on sale buy one at regular price & get 50% off the second one. Last week I earned a total of $21 in rewards points this paid for my entire purchase order last week. Wow what a gift and a sweet lift.Thanks Rite Aid for being so near and dear. I celebrate you with highest gratitude. You're surely a beautiful example of great customer service. Keep your head up and keep holding up your positive beautiful light. The pharmacist, Ashfaq, works very efficiently and communicates well to all customers without ever speaking in a bothered or frustrated tone. Every pharmacy is understaffed. Every pharmacist is overworked. The people here deal with the same regional medication shortages as everywhere else, but they have always communicated well with me and filled my prescriptions as soon as possible. After two years of what felt like harassing the CVS in Harbortown to simply acknowledge my prescriptions need to be filled, then calling back every 48 hours to ask why they weren’t filled over and again, the Rite Aid pharmacy staff in Midtown has removed the stress and frustration from getting medications filled. I wish I knew the name of the other two pharmacists I’ve dealt with in the past, but they all deserve recognition for their efforts

Yesterday bought small 50ml bottles E & J liquor. At home drank two sips and felt sick & pain in my mouth. Cannot complain to Rite Aid because product complaint will look like retaliation to wrong price and deceptive service complaints that I made during same transaction.

Hello my name is Vanessa. And I had to have my cholesterol medication filled but the authorization has not came through yet from the insurance. I really needed my medication. Nancy was the staff there that day and she was so understanding and patient to my needs. She was able to help me get what i need at a GREAT cost until everything went through. I haven’t experienced a rude pharmacy staff. However, I’ve come to this location on 3+ occasions to get my prescription filled over the course of the last 6 months. Each time, one of my medications are ‘out of stock’. The response is always, ‘You know, we have a bunch of hospitals around us and (insert the flavor of the week)’.It puts me in an odd position where I’m supposed to understand their challenge over my needs, feel guilty for wanting to prioritize my care over those that may have more urgency for care, and make me rethink the whole medical system in our country. Not what I need to process when I need my prescriptions.I think there’s a greater issue at hand around logistics, inventory management, and setting the right expectations with staff and customers alike.

First, refused to fill my prescription because it was from a nurse and not a doctor. Then made it impossible for me to transfer the prescription because their phones were totally down all day. Now I need to go see a different doctor to get a new prescription for some antibiotics. Ridiculous.

A resounding 1 star and if I could give -10 I would. The Pharmacy called me to get my insurance information which I repeated several times. I asked if the prescription was ready and she said they couldn’t give it to me until they had my insurance info which I had just given several times. She asked if I could bring it in and I said of course. I asked if it’s not working with the info I’m giving you over the phone why would it be more likely to work in person and she said “Because maybe you’re giving me the wrong information”. 👀 I said ok I’ll come up and be sure to give you the correct information and she hung up on me. I’m sick and all I want is my antibiotic. The last thing I need is when providing the information asked of me to be treated with such rudeness. I would never think to literally hang up on someone at work. It’s unbelievable how people keep their jobs when they treat people like this.

This is by far one of the worst pharmacies in Detroit there is No communication from this store I have been waiting almost a month for my medication and all they can say is it’s not Instock and they don’t know when it will be available and that I can always go buy it instead of waiting for them to fill it y would I go buy something that is covered by my insurance like make it make since NEVER NEVER NEVER use this pharmacy they really r the worst

I went there today to buy a very personal item. The young man at the register made condescending and quite honestly - disgusting remarks to me. I am a 21 year old woman, but can (and have) easily been mistook for a teenager. The fact that this person felt comfortable and bold enough to make inappropriate and disrespectful comments makes me believe that this is not the first time he’s felt entitled to comment about what someone is purchasing. He did not know anything about me nor the way his comments could have impacted me. I felt violated and completely disrespected. I rarely complain ever, especially during COVID when I know employees are working hard and doing their best - but this went beyond violating professional boundaries, it spoke to a lack of human decency.

I came to this Rite Aid stressed, due to my dog just having surgery. Also, the CVS I had stopped at before didn't have the correct painkillers, and the pharmacist laughed at me for getting medicine for my dog.The service at this Rite Aid was absolutely incredible. I didn't get his name, but the pharmacist kept assuring me throughout our interaction and was overall extremely helpful. He even wrote my dog’s name on the bottle. Give this man a promotion. 11/10 would recommend–definitely using this location as my regular pharmacy.

Their pharmacy is awful, do not send your scripts here. I have had my regular medications refilled late and now they cant get it, I've been off my meds for 5 days now because they cant get it and cant even give a timeline of when they might get it. I need to travel to visit my sick father and they're the only ones holding me up.I'm absolutely disgusted and distraught and their staff doesn't care. You cant call america a first world country if this is to be expected from the overpriced medical care system.

I don’t usual write reviews but this is absolutely by far the best pharmacy ever. I moved away from midtown after college and still drive about 20 mins just to use this pharmacy. Chidi is the most charming, charismatic and caring pharmacist.

Pharmacy sucks. Always a problem. Female pharmacist has bad attitude. Nasty disposition. Had to get her together on a few occasions. I didnt know who the hell she thought she was talking to......Go to Walgreens or CVS.Update 5/5/16- Store manager Mike got very flippant and irrate when I came to pick up my last prescription EVER from Rite Aid and informed him of the pharmacists behavior. Told me it wouldnt do any good to contact corporate, which I still did. Poor customer service, could be slightly racist due to patient population. Mike "feels" he can "help" you by overtalking you, not listening and never apologizing for his staff's behavior. Go somewhere else for a drug store.

This place has one of my favorite cookies "Annie's Swedish thins ginger" and they are so good I come here every now any again when I'm in the area cause riteaid has never let me down on the things I need, try the Swedish thins with milk I can guarentee everyone will enjoy this delicious treat.

Pharmacist Maggie is a young inexperienced individual with an agenda to make filling your prescription as difficult as possible. In the process she oversteps her role as a pharmacist and tries to interfere with physician orders as she is of the opinion that her degree makes her a "Doctor". Furthermore, she violated my privacy as a patient and created a dangerous situation in which I was not able to obtain my medication in a timely fashion. In addition, the manager is a squirrely character who is EXTREMELY condescending and has no business interacting with customers. Both individuals are in desperate need of retraining as to what their role is and how to interact with customers and respect their privacy.

One staff runs two tills at one time. Usually pretty busy but has a parking lot. Covienient location for some goods in a pinch. For a drug store it has cheap prices and almost anything you need without having to drive out into the suburb.

I was put on hold for 10 minutes then my call was disconnected. I spent 20 more minutes trying to get someone and haven't been successful. I need a life sustaining medicine and cannot get in contact with anyone at this pharmacy.

The staff at this location greets you when you walk in. The store manager has gone above and beyond on several occasions. There's a Amazon Locker at the back of the store.
