We just moved to the Detroit area and was looking for a dog groomer near us and came across put' n on the dog grooming didn't have to wait long on a appointment reasonable price and only 2 hours a half wait to pick him back up being his first time there, I felt she done a good job. it been a while since his last cut so she may have cut him a little shorter than I may have liked but I feel it will only get better I will be taking him back.

I Love this place I have been coming here since the '80s I've never smelled any smells inside of the Putting on the dog. I have had 13 dogs that I have been groomed here over the years and have had my dogs broaded here as well while I on was vacation with no problems. The owner she does an excellent job for a reasonable price and she is reliable and has a beautiful heart and does try to help people. I have never had any problems with the owner or the service.

Scheduling an appointment is very difficult. I had an appointment for Saturday. Saturday comes and she tell me I have no appointment. No one called to confirm they canceled without my knowledge. This is very frustrating and unprofessional!if anyone knows of a good and reasonable groomer please let me know

They don’t even deserve the one star. First of all I have a small short haired chihuahua so nothing should have been hard about servicing her. I had to take her back because I was so unsatisfied with the hair trim. Choppy and uneven; they still couldn’t get it right the second time. Most importantly they cut my baby’s nails down so short that she was bleeding on not one but two nails. To top it off now she has these sharp ungrounded nails. I will never go back there. Felt like I was scammed of $40

The place smelled so bad was dirty and not only did the price change when we got there but my baby cut was horrible!!!! Her nails wasn’t cut she wasn’t bathed, she still had hair falling off of her, her cut wasn’t evenly trimmed! It was a mess a nightmare I wouldn’t recommend this to my enemies I didn’t want to rate a 1 but it was the lowest I could rate.

Normally she does an amazing job with my Dog however this time was totally different. Idk if she was rushing or if my dog is really becoming difficult to groom Because she is an elder dog. But this time when I went to pick up my dog, she alerted me that she “knicked” my dog on her leg and placed something on there to stop the bleeding. I politely paid her for her services and took my dog home. The next day once the wound area was cleaned it revealed to be a deep cut the size of a dime and I immediately called to schedule my pet an appointment to get things taken care of. I notified the owner upon my arrival to the vet and let her know that’s pet had To get 6 stitches and I felt like I deserve reimbursement because she caused the injury. She stated that she could not pay me however offer me credit me vrooms however my pet will not be returning

Zero stars!!! Never again! Worst place ever. When I had to help them get him into the tub I should have turned around and ran then! It was nasty inside, my dog nails were not trimmed, my dog was still visibly dirty, still wet, fur ALL OVER THE PLACE, and I think they may have hit him because his nose is bruised. I wish so bad that I’d never taken my baby here. Please don’t subject your pet to this place. It’s hell! Money wasted! I had to come home and brush him myself. I blame myself too. I should have known better! But like I said… NEVER AGAIN!!!

If it could be zero I would rate that. Trying to support small local businesses. Usually it works out well. The groom was mediocre at best. I got a call that he was ready. I called a friend to pick him up and bring him to me. I was stuck at work. Person arrived within the hour and they were gone!!!! This was 11am. Signage said they were open till 5p. I got a voicemail saying if you don’t get him in 15 mins you can pick him up in the morning. They they seriously tried to charge me for a boarding fee. My dog is an ESA so anytime away is tough enough. But to not have home be able to come home. Was way too much. I finally heard back from someone around 6p. I offered to pick someone up and drive them, send a Lyft, whatever it took to get to the shop so I could get him. I was basically told sorry for my luck. Nope. Nope. Nope. Never again.Hummm maybe that explains the barricade on their door & windows. Other pet owners kicked the door in to get their kidnapped pets....Nope. Never again.

My dog just needed a trim. He has a lot of fur & its winter. He wasn’t matted. He just need a trim around his face & neck. She shaved him completely..and he has bald patches on him. She rushed it & the groomer was a bit rude. My dog is bald now & it’s winter

Hey everyone NO LIES this shop is fast timely they reach out to you,, and they always answer the phones!!!! 😃 Even if you don’t live in the area it’s worth the trip. We found a homeless dog outside feed it and kept it. And they cleaned her up cut her fur and she looks like a completely different dog💕🤣 but she’s beautiful.. Thankyou Put On Dogs!! We appreciate y’all business. This dog loves us and kids😊 we’ve raised pets that wasn’t this sweet and happy to be with us🐶💕💕💕💕💕💕so we named her SweetieBut she barks at men sometimes idk why🤷🏾‍♀️

The owner was rude and disrespectful to me and my daughter she over charged me for a poodle shuz mix to be groomed she's been getting groomed since she was younger I never payed a 100.00 so please dont give her your business . This is a pandemic times.

She leaves the dogs there unattended most of the day. If I would've known that I could've left dog at home alone. If you try to come get your dog after she leaves you must wait for the next day to pick them up and she CHARGES you for that day. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

I'm so disappointed it seems like every time I take my dog and I go back to pick her up it always seems to be an issue about my dog saying she's non cooperative and it's to the point my dog was bleeding from her paws from her clipping her nails too far and that had happened more than once then and the last time I picked her up she had blood on her leg and then she continuously wants to up the price for my dog and that's not fare I already pay $60 when she would normally charge me $45 then she goes and suggest that I give my dog a tranquilizer the next time I bring her in and even then she was trying to charge me $80 I'm so beyond frustrated because that's the only groomers close to my home and my dog have been going to her for the last 6yrs I don't understand what's the issue now

I found this shop on Google nearby my home. We have 2 miniature Yorkies that both weigh less than 30 pounds. We usually pay $25-30 per dog for grooming. I called for an estimant. I explained their fur & their last grooming. The owner told me it would be $35 per dog. Ok, cool no problem.. But...MISTAKE #1 AS A BUSINESS OWNER SHE CALLED ME TO CONFIRM THE 8AM APPOINTMENT FROM A PRIVATE/RESTRICTED # WHEN SHE CLEARLY HAS A BUSINESS LINE! *VERY UNPROFESSIONAL*MISTAKE #2 I GET THERE AND THE FLOOR APPEARS TO BE DIRTY AND UNSANITARY. IT ALSO HAD A SLIGHT SMELL (BUT I ASSUME IT WAS BECAUSE SHE WORKS WITH ANIMALS)BUT THERE'S NOWHERE TO SIT IN THE LOBBY.MISTAKE #3 I WAS TOLD TO BE THERE AT LEAST 9:45AM TO PICK THEM BOTH UP. I GET THERE A FEW MINUTES LATE AND THEY WERE STILL NOT READY. SO THIS TIME IM WAITING OUTSIDE AND ITS 84°F. IM PREGNANT AND I ALSO HAD MY CHILD WITH ME. I WAS ONLY LET IN BECAUSE ANOTHER GENTLEMAN ARRIVED TO PICK UP HIS DOG. I OVERHEARD HER SAY IT WAS GOING TO BE $40 HIS DOG. HIS WAS MUCH BIGGER AND LONGER THAN A YORKY.MISTAKE #4 IM STANDING IN THE LOBBY I NOTICED A SIGN THAT SAYS NO CHECKS OR CREDIT CARDS. SO I IMMEDIATELY TELL HER I HAD TO LEAVE AND GO GET CHANGE. AND SHE UPS THE PRICE ON BOTH DOGS. INSTEAD OF $35 IT WOULD BE $40. BECAUSE SHE SAID BECAUSE THEIR FUR WAS MATTED UP AND BOTH OF THEM WERE HARDER TO HANDLE THAN MOST DOGS SHE DEALT WITH. SHE WAS AWARE OF THAT UPON ARRIVAL. I INTRODUCED HER TO BOTH DOGS. I TOLD HER THE NAMES. WHICH ONE WAS TRAINED & THE ONE THAT WAS NOT. I ALSO TOLD HER ON THE PHONE AND WHEN FIRST METTING HER HOW THEIR FUR IS & HOW I EXPECTED THEM TO BE CUT.MISTAKE #5 ONCE I WENT TO GET THE MONEY AND COME BACK. IT APPEARS SHE ONLY CUT THE MATTED HAIR FROM ONE OF THE DOGS HAIR IT WAS NOT BOTH. & THEY BOTH APPEARED CLEAN AND SMELL FREE. BUT THEIR HAIR WAS EXTRA LONG ALL THE WAY AROUND. ITS SUMMERTIME AND I EXPECTED MORE HAIR TO BE CUT FROM THEM. SHE DID A HORRIBLE JOB AND TALKED HER WAY OUT OF $20 EXTRA DOLLARS. I AM VERY DISSATISFIED AND WILL NOT BE RETURNING EVER!!!!
