Since the pandemic imperial has stepped up their game by keeping the shells fully stopped at all times they haven't been low on food and I have not had a problem with the meats or produce they have a pretty fast pace

Today, I witnessed a cashier at this store spray a customer directly in the face with Lysol because she was felt she was too dirty and attempted to refuse to return her bottle slips from said store. She complied only after me saying something to her about her poor behavior.The woman whom she assaulted is our friend and neighbor, is developmentally disabled, and lives nearby in an adult home. We take her to local stores to return bottles and help her get things she needs.The cashier treated her as though she were not even human.I'm appalled by this behavior and want to be sure that everyone in our community knows how this place treats customers.SHAME ON YOU Imperial Market!May the fleas of a million hippos infest your hair, you vile human.

Being a local Major grocery store...Imperial has been a major establishment for East Detroit for years and Warren/Ferndale....They have truly remodeled and the store was well thought out too Consumers buying and thought of Consumers theft...AAA+...Products and produce n veggies are good and great prices during these economic hardships..

We live in S Cal, and my EBT benefit is stolen on February. The fraud/ or fake card was used in this place. There are criminals working there.

Great wine selection in the miniture bottles. Wide selection of different foods. Faygo pop..happy to see. Store items wellstocked. Store clean and brightly lighted.

You might as well say it is the only market within a 1 mile radious. I don't complain because I have a bipolar, schizophrenic family member that seems to be able to visit successfully with no issues which is a good thing and days it is safe so far.

I have had too many instances where the meat smelled bad after I opened it to cook, or the produce has been not the best. Sorry guys, LOVE the employees tho! Today is July of 2018, I tried buying meat again, and AGAIN RANCID CHICKEN!!!! DONT BUY CHICKEN HERE!!!!It is now June of 2019, and I am returning to my previous post in disgust. In preparation for my day at work I go to this market to pick up things for my kids to eat during the day. Today it was raspberries that were moldy, I DON'T have time to come and return them I'm on my way to work! I will NEVER buy produce from here again, c'mon guys why buy produce that's on it's way out? This is not the first time this has happened here, but surely the LAST. I'll spend my money at Meijer! YUCK!

I use to shop here all of the time when I lived in the area. I went back a few months ago. They got all kinds of good foods in there. Still very clean and organized. I left out with about $300 worth of stuff. Still love it!

Place needs a cleaning and the owner/manager needs to come out from behind the glass and refer to me as a thief! White,disabled I was the only person stopped on way in cause I had my own reusable bags witch he had the cashier take.but the huge bags that "others" came in with no prob cause that's a purse. Wont be back rather take the bus to Kroger you need to worry more about all the employees standing around doing NOTHING you could lower prices. Have a Blessed one

Too expensive prices 2x as high as other major chains. Owners were very dismissive ro customers needs, basically told me he didn't care that I was a long time customer and was uncaring about store's malfunctions. Very arrogant and shaddy.

Very nice remodel. However food is priced higher than most and you must pay attention to expiration dates because they do not rotate properly and the food is usually expired.

I shop here regularly throughout the month. There meat and produce are always fresh. Currently they are remodeling the store. They are still open for business. Best to try to get there early and beat the afternoon rush.

My visit was great until checking out. The cashier on #5 at 3:10 pm sat there playing on her phone for a sweet minute, like I wasn't standing there. She then put her phone in her pocket because I slammed down my onions and without a greeting, she checked out my 3 items. I paid and stood there while she began checking someone else out. I had to ask for my receipt. Oh yeah, no price given, no have a good day, and no hello. Other than that, the store was clean and stocked.

This is one of my favorite supermarkets in the city! Great prices on meats, vast variety on cabinet items and always clean. There is a young lady that works as a butcher. I love her because she's always nice to the children and gives them a treat! From the office to the checkout lanes, the staff is very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this market

The supermarket is pretty reasonable you'll catch a few good deals compared to other markets in the area. The employees were helpful friendly and courteous. They also have the payment kiosk for DTE and water bill.
